It’s a nice place for quick lunch, the tuna salad sandwich with ciabatta is my favorite, ingredient is fresh, delicious too. The drawback is it’s a little bit overpriced, 8 bucks for a sandwich without cheese(have to pay more to get cheese).~

Overall: They always have what I’m looking for, the staff is friendly and I always love the music they play at this location. Service: I’ve gotten breakfast and lunch at this location several times and service is always good. They’re friendly and fast. Food: I like that the food is made/cooked in front of you, especially breakfast. I tend to have to order custom items to make it vegan-friendly and have been satisfied thus far. The food is always tasty. Location: It’s convenient because I work in close proximity to the building. If you’re not in the area, I wouldn’t recommend traveling to this location. Convenience: I’ve ordered online several times and my food is always ready for me. It’s so convenient! Price: It’s pricey for lunch food but it’s understandable given the location and freshness of the food.

The pre-made sandwiches are okay, though they and everything else are very overpriced. I do not recommend ordering your own creation — they are very skimpy on quantity. Many better options in the area for sandwiches.

Not good at all. Food is meh, service is terrible. Found hair in my food once. No reason to go here with so many other amazing delis nearby(Rosslyn deli, etc)

I just ordered breakfast here. I got the Miami Burger which is what I always get… since I know they always put too much cream cheese, I asked for less cream cheese. I don’t know if the women intentionally ignored what I said… but there is so much cream cheese it is overflowing out the bagel hole all over the place. I can’t really eat it at my desk now without taking it apart and scraping out the cream cheese. For the amount of money they charge, the least they can do is listen to their customers.

Brown bag used to be my go-to place for lunch before I discovered food trucks. Now, I really don’t think about it all that often unless there is literally nothing else around to eat. I used to go for the pastas there but then they all started coming to me undercooked and just sort of Meh. tasting. I switched from the pastas to the sandwiches and salads and am glad that I did. I usually go for the Caesar salad and add something like chicken or shrimp, depending on how I’m feeling. For my go-to sandwich, I get the Let’s go clubbin’ wrap. It’s basically a club sandwich in a tortilla as opposed to being on separate slices of bread. Another plus for this place for me is the Brown Bag app. They let you attach a credit card to the app and it makes paying less of a hassle.

If I could rate this brown bag with no stars I would. A few months ago I ordered catering for over $ 400 for breakfast and lunch. Breakfast showed up two hours later and lunch never arrived. It took me 2 months of calling and re-explaining the situation until they finally refunded me the money. Why should I pay for food that was never received? They reached out and tried to rekindle our business which I appreciated so I tried again. I got catering today and the salads had clumps of hair in them. DISGUSTING. My clients were furious. I called the store to talk to the manager to make him aware of the situation and his response was just sorry that happened have a great day. I told him you have lost our business forever and he did not care. The food is over priced for the service they deliver. I got a hot buffet catered from Allspice café for cheaper than brown bags soggy sandwiches. I recommend never going to them. If you need a DELICIOUS sandwich in the area go to Rosslyn Deli.

I like how you order! You grab a brown bag and a Sharpe, and you check off the ingredients you want.

Ok, I’m giving it 5-stars for the service, although the food was great! The guy talked me through the process with the brown bag sandwich makings and we had a good time talking about what goes well with what until I finally ordered. The guy’s recommendation’s for extra twists(get the ciabatta bread with tuna instead of the popular multi-grain, etc) were helpful and delicious. The manager also provided a catering menu when I said my club would love The Brown Bag as a change from pizza. Finally, the sandwich was delicious. While it may not be as cheap as Subway’s, it was so much more delicious with higher quality ingredients. I would go again!

Good sandwiches, but way over-priced. I got a soda, the Coltrane chicken sandwich, and small side of potato salad — came out to $ 15.00. That is just insane for a sandwich lunch. The sandwich was good and the ingredients/bread seemed fresh. However, with Rosslyn Deli’s awesome, affordable Boar’s Head sandwiches just steps away from here, I can’t in good conscience give this place more than 2 stars. Good option if you’re in a rush though, as other places in Rosslyn can have long waits during the lunch hour and this place always seems to be slightly less crowded.

Ordered from here for lunch today. The sandwiches are good but overpriced. A rueben is $ 9.00 with no side. The sandwich was also slightly burnt. I would have asked them to remake it but I ordered to go. The amount of meat on the sandwich was also pretty small for the price. Wouldn’t go out of my way to come here again but good if you are in a pinch.

So many choices! It makes lunch interesting… I love the«let’s go clubbing wrap» and the buffalo chicken and the left bank! Always worth trying one of the new ones. They aren’t cheap though. I don’t love the salads though… Veggies don’t seem that fresh. I have never had the noodles, but I will be trying those this winter :) They also have a frequent diner rewards program! Love that! Make sure you have enough time to wait in the long sandwich line though

I love Brown Bag. Their food is amazing, and the employees are very friendly. I go here for breakfast and sometimes lunch-highly recommend the breakfast sandwiches! The lunch sandwiches are great too, who am I kidding. Their Brown Bag app is pretty cool too, it gives you rewards and lets you pay with your phone.

Great lunch spot. Their sandwiches are so good. The bread is fresh and the ingredients yummy. The cuban sandwich is off the charts. Although it has been the same lunch special for months. The sandwiches are a bit pricey($ 9+) but so far have been worth the price. It’s located around several offices so the lunch hour can be a bit crazy. The parking situation is also awful. Good Luck. Bottom Line — If you’re in the area and in need of a good sandwich — give it a go.

Stopped in for breakfast on the way to a meeting. Had bagel, cream cheese, smoked salmon, red onion, and capers. Excellent! Nice big sandwich on a perfectly toasted bagel. The service was super quick and very friendly. Funny but they had the best tasting coffee that I have had in a long time. Cheap prices. Highly recommend this nice place.

I was indecisive between breakfast and lunch. They were very patient. I ultimately decided on one of the breakfast wraps. I substituted turkey for ham when I saw that they carve it. They made the whole wrap fresh including cracking the egg and cooking it on the spot. It was good. There are a lot of options. I’ll come back and try a lunch sandwich next time

My go to lunch spot in Rosslyn, fresh ingredients, great breakfast and lunch options. The prepared side salads are a little pricey but the sandwiches are reasonable.

I had lunch at this location and I can say I was very pleased. I rarely get to enjoy food here because of the odd hours the business keeps. I really like the freshness of the ingredients as well as the selection on the menu. The employees we’re very helpful and extremely nice. A great place in Rosslyn if your looking for a sandwich made with high quality, fresh ingredients. It’s also good to note they have bowls and breakfast available.

Haven’t been inside this location but my(work) team and I ordered from them for one of our colleague’s going away lunch. We each selected one of the Specialty Grilled or Specialty Stuffed Sandwiches. You can customize our own sandwich at BB but with the number of people in our group that definitely wouldn’t have been practical! But the specialty sandwich menu offers a great range of delicious(and nutritious) selections. I ordered the Left Bank Chicken Salad Sandwich. It was quite tasty: juicy pieces of roasted chicken, hints of tarragon, not overly dressed with mayo, and stuffed inside a nice crispy baguette. Everyone’s selections looked full of bright and fresh ingredients. There was a lot of «Ooo…what did you get?» Overall, everyone was very satisfied. The one caveat is that it’s a little pricey. Each of us paid between $ 8 – 10 for our sandwich selections and this is with no sides, drinks, etc.
