Thai at Corner is great but this location is now closed due to construction. I believe their new address is in Lee Highway. They deliver, and have a great selection of typical Thai dishes. I am a huge fan of their green curry chicken. Reasonably priced for a solid dinner.

Ordered Pad Thai with chicken and Pad Se Ew for delivery that took 1 ½ hours. Pad Thai was incredibly dry and tasted like it had been cooked a day ago. Not nearly as good as the other local options and will not be ordering from them again.

RIP, Thai at Corner(CLOSED). One of the saddest days of my life was walking up to you, wondering why it’s so dark inside. It was going to be the day. The day when I finally tasted the Cinnamon Duck, a dish that none of your waiters would allow us to order, in fact, steered us clear of. Cinnamon and lemon is too interesting a combination and my curiosity was just too great. Every time we ate at Thai at Corner, we amused ourselves by asking each waiter about the cinnamon duck, and watched each one cringe. Hehe. Now, I will never know. :’( But the dishes we did eat were delightful. I’ve eaten nom tok at every Thai restaurant. And Thai at Corner’s beef salad stood out in tastiness and tenderness. The prices were awesome, like they were never updated for decades(my wallet thanks you). The eclectic decorations from Christmas to comic books were always fun to look at. Remember that time when I brought in 13 of our friends, and the waiters were so excited they took photos of us eating? Good times. You will be missed, and we will have to settle for Sawatdee now(which has a better atmosphere, but honestly the food is not as good).

We came back very often to this place since our first date and the foods are just amazing. It’s closed today and we had to dine in a nearby horrible Japanese restaurant. We miss its drunken noodle, seafood fried rice and the fish & eggplant curry!

They can make the food Thai Spicy if you ask. Sign of a great place. I ate the larb, papaya salad, and the panang curry. Minus one star because the larb was cooked, not raw. I didn’t experience the slow service noted by others, though the place was empty when I was there, on a Wednesday night at 7 pm.

Ate here for the second time today. The first time I was there the service was horrible because it was packed so I wanted to give it a second chance. Today was no different. There was only 3 tables being occupied and we still got poor service. I know this country is made up of all nationalities but if you are in the service industry, your English has to be good enough to take my order. There was definitely a language barrier. My friend and I ordered two different dishes and as of 3 hours after our lunch, we both have stomach issues. Please do not go here. There are much better options in Arlington if you are looking for Thai food. Happy eating…

The food was fine. It was the customer service that really disappointed me. My girlfriend was so kind to take me out to this Thai restaurant last night. She bought a Groupon for this place. The Groupon had no restrictions on it for the day used and it explicitly said that it was good for any day up until the 1st of next April. Unfortunately, the server refused to accept it because«it’s a holiday». After explaining to him that there were no restrictions on the Groupon and that it must be honored, he refused to cooperate claiming that it is a «mistake». He really could not give us a logicial reason and repeatedly refused to accept it. Customer service is everything to myself, and after this experience, we will not be returning due to this retaurant’s lack of caring and respect for their neighborhood guests. I will unfortunately have to warn colleagues from visiting this place.

Fast, good prices, good service. Eaten here probably once a month for the last year or so, haven’t found a Thai place that compares in the area yet.

If you are looking for fast meal and craving Thai food in Arlington, this place is great! I want to add in that this place has probably a 3.5 rating for their thai food, but I upped it to 4 stars because of their price. This place is cheaper than other thai places in the area with the majority of their entrees only being around $ 10-$ 11 bucks for chicken, beef, or pork. Tack on another 2 – 3 bucks if you want seafood/shrimp. We started off with the chicken satay. They give you 4 pieces so if you have a few people this is a good thing to share. I ordered the Red Curry with Shrimp and my boyfriend ordered the Pork Ka Pow. Both of which were great tasting. Last time I ordered the green curry with chicken and I felt like I got a lot more food than I did with the red curry with shrimp. Basically, with the shrimp version, you only get 6 – 7 pieces of shrimp and its not like they give you more vegetables to compensate for the lack of food. I still thought that it tasted pretty good but probably won’t go for the shrimp option next time. I also noticed a bunch of people ordering for pick up. I recommend doing that if you are looking for a fast and easy meal but don’t feel like sitting in. We will definitely be back!

Thai at Corner is an average thai restaurant. We had the red curry with seafood, panang curry, drunken noodle, and Nua Siam(grilled beef dish). Everything was pretty good but not worth returning for especially with more stellar thai options in Arlington. That being said, the drunken noodles and Nua Siam were the better of the four items we tried. The red curry and panang curry lacked a thick and fresh tasting coconut milk base. Maybe watered down? The quality of the meat and seafood, however, were decent and spice levels were standard. If you’re in the area and looking for a thai fix but don’t have time to seek out other options, give it a shot.

Expensive for the portion sizes and compared to comparable Thai restaurants in the area. Staff is always nice, it’s never crowded. Very standard Thai foods, nothing exceptional. The location is one of its best features since I can walk there from my place. Best local Thai food is at Thai Noy!

I ordered take out from here last night. It wasn’t good. The seafood was rubbery and old. So gross. The pad Thai noodles all stuck together. Very small portion of papaya salad. I asked for spice but there wasn’t much in the dish. Food tasted bland, old, not worth a second try in my book.

If u like food that’s sweet. Then come here. I didn’t like the food because I could taste the sugar they added even on Tom Yum. Pricey and not even that good

Of all the Thai restaurants in the DC area, this is one of my favorites. I sometimes go several times a week, and every dish I’ve tried is delicious. My favorites are the Spicy Eggplant, Pad See-Ew, and Panang Curry. And the mango sticky rice is always a perfect dessert. Also, the service is always excellent. Every server has been extremely friendly, attentive, and professional! They always makes me feel very welcomed and comfortable. I highly recommend Thai at Corner!

For my second visit to this restaurant I ordered chicken pad Thai. It tasted good but in retrospect there was something wrong. I couldn’t figure it out. However when I got home I became violently ill. Never have gotten that sick from a restaurant like that. How unfortunate. I will never go back. Good luck to them and you.

Went here with a voucher, and it was ok. Nothing really stood out, and for the money I think you didn’t get much. Tried the green curry with chicken, which was just ok. The drunken noodles with beef was good, the best dish we had. Also tried the chicken peanut sauce, which didn’t taste much like peanut at all and wasn’t very good. The mango sticky rice was ok, but they slice the mango so thin that it just doesn’t work so great with the rice. Also I felt that the portions were a little small, and they don’t give you much rice with your entrees. Service was good, but I doubt I’ll go back

We ordered delivery and I ordered chicken pad thai– the pad thai noodles were thinner than I’m used to and a bit mushy for my taste, while the flavor was average– nothing to call home about. One good thing — the portions were quite large and could’ve lasted me 3 meals. However, the quality of the pad thai declined greatly as leftovers, and I ended up throwing part of it away because it was just too mushy. If I ever was to get pad thai from here again I’d try the pad thai with beef with added spiciness for more flavor. I don’t imagine that’ll happen anytime soon though…

The food is good. The place had some of the most authentic tasting Thai food in Arlington. Both the Num Tok(beef salad) and Larb GAI(chicken salad) are great, maybe the best in the region. A nice balance of spicy and piquant. The Tom Yum I had today was also excellent. The restaurant usually isn’t too busy which is good because the service can sometimes be slow. You should definitely check it out for the food though.

Why/When I tried it 28 April. My girlfriend and I had a $ 25 coupon from and decided to try this place out. I’m not sure we would have ventured here without that coupon just because we hadn’t heard of it. Location/accessibility Located in walking distance to the Court House metro(orange line), but there is street parking available. Apparently there is also parking available behind the restaurant if you request a parking pass from your server. Atmosphere Thai At Corner has a small, authentic feel to it. Menu/pricing Average entrée price was around $ 10 – 12 and the portion sizes were well worth what we paid. They’ve got a wide variety of Thai classics. Food I ordered the Chicken Pad Thai. It was under seasoned and a little bland, but then again I ate the entire plate, so it couldn’t have been that bad! My gf had the veggie drunken noodles, another Thai classic. She also said her dish was missing some«zing». For dessert we had the mango and sticky rice. It was a little salty, but again we ate the whole thing! Service With only two servers working the dining room AND the bar, it took a little while to get our orders taken and get drink refills. Grading The food was good, but given that there are so many other Thai restaurants in the DC area, I would probably try another place before going back here, which is why I’m giving Thai At Corner 3 stars, not 4.
