I love the new look necklace I had mended and redesigned.
The jeweler/​owner took time with our consultation to tell me a little about the stones and explain how to take care of them. I never felt rushed or pressured into a more expensive design.
I posted the before and after pictures she took of the necklace.
And if you are reading this, thank you Alex, it is absolutely beautiful!

I’ve gotten products from Terra Nostra’s wonderful Alexandra a number of times, and each time I am awed not only by the quality of the design and the execution of the jewelry (which could be out of any European top store) but also by the presentation, which is absolutely impeccable. The neatness of the packaging, the quality of the materials, her amazing handwriting, it all comes together to enhance the already fabulous product. I recommend this wholeheartedly. They do ship.

I have been magnetized to Alex’s window for as long as she opened her shop in Arlington. I finally went in looking to match a turquoise necklace — a gift from my Mom. Alex immediately understood what I wanted and offered to make custom earrings to match the necklace stones. The earrings she made for me are beautiful — interesting stones and beads, silver fittings to match the necklace clasp, and backings that ensure I won’t lose them the first time I wear them! In fact, she made two versions with different style stones for me to chose from. Alex’s creativity is elegant and sophisticated — and I’m so happy to be wearing her artwork.

Terra Nostra is a wonderful little shop with beautiful and unique jewelry. I’ve had Alex make me a necklace and earrings that always return compliments. It’s not inexpensive, nor is it the highest end jewelry, but you’ll find something for every lady on your shopping list. And, of course, you will want to splurge for yourself.

Terra Nostra is a very special jewelry store. Alex, the designer and owner, creates gorgeous, unique, high quality pieces. Each piece is hand-​crafted and could easily be seen in magazines like In Style it’s that good. Sometimes I wish her jewelry wasn’t that good because the store is down the street from where I live and creates a huge temptation every time I pass by.

Terra Nostra is nestled somewhere in between a driving school and Edible Arrangements on Mass Ave. Alexandra, the owner, flies a banner bearing the name of the boutique but you really can’t understand the mix of organic decorations, accessories and sparkles until you set foot in the space. The place boasts beautifully sparkly jewelry wrought of gold filled wire and different silvers. Swarovski crystals are offset by natural gems and stones and the owner and her friend make all the jewelry. Alexandra is clearly, and should be, proud of her handiwork. I love the cocktail rings but I don’t love the prices. I’ve subscribed to the email list to get the first word on sales and I can’t wait to pick up 4 or 5 sparkly baubles. I know we’re in a recession, but I hope this place makes it so I can buy lots of sparklies when my personal economy rebounds.
