Still no communication back from this place. I’ve been more than patient with them after the disgusting surprise I found in my food and the illness we both encountered from food poisoning.

Dining room is trashed. The Salsa Bar is out of forks, napkins, and this is the best SALSA! You guys need help big time.

I used to whole-heartedly prefer Taco Bueno when it came to the Taco Bell/Bueno wars… however this store is not helping my decision. For starters, the few times I have been it always seems like the wait in the drive-thru is WAY too long for the amount of cars waiting. The last time I went I was the second car in the drive thru, there did not seem to be many people inside, yet I was in the line for a good ten minutes before I got my food. Secondly, the quality of the food is going downhill — hopefully just at this location. More times than not if I order a quesadilla most of the cheese on the inside is not fully melted and there was one time were my chicken was actually cold. Finally, every single time I have been to this location and gone to the drive thru I have had something missing from my order. It is very disappointing and now I find myself going to the Taco Bell more frequently over this Taco Bueno location.

I hate with everything in my to write a poor review especially for a Taco Bueno! I usually adore everything about TB! However my experience here almost had me simply drive away after paying and just be done with it. The only reason I’m leaving 2 stars instead of 1 is for the sweet lady at the window. I pulled up to the speaker ready to order and was greeted with nothing but silence. I sat a couple minutes thinking they would be right there… wrong. I thought maybe I didn’t trip the censor that alerted them I was there so I said hello and still had no reply. A couple min went by and still nothing. By this time there was now 4 cars behind me and I felt super silly just sitting there so I said hello again. This time I was greeted with a snappy voice telling me to wait.(I’m honestly ok waiting but I simple just a minute would have been appreciated when I first rolled up) When I finally got to order the lady on the speaker was real rude and short with me. I don’t think I ever gave her attitude while waiting. I only ever wanted to satisfy my craving for party burritos. While I was in the middle of ordering she cut me off gave me a total and said to pay at the window. I had to get in the rest of my order because I hadn’t ordered party burritos yet! She did not sound excited to hear me add something else. I only ordered 2 meals! I didn’t think it was a large order in the first place. When I pulled around to the window to pay I was nervous what I was going to be greeted by. To my pleasant surprise it was a very apologetic woman who apologized several times for the wait and said they had been running behind due to a mess up on a large order inside. That’s all that needed to be said! I understand mess ups happen and things can take time sometimes. I saw an upset lady running around frantically behind. She had on a head set and I’m assuming this is the original woman I talked to when j ordered. After finally leaving with my food beside me in the passenger seat I was ready to get home and enjoy my delicious Taco Bueno. Sadly after all this… my party burritos were not in my bag! Haha but at least my quesadilla was tasty. I chalked this visit up as a lost cause and will have to find another Taco Bueno to visit or perhaps give this one a second try. After all… we all have bad days

Every time I go back to a taco Bueno I like it less and less, maybe I’m growing up? I don’t know. But they quality just isn’t cutting it for me anymore and the tortilla always seem almost stale

It may be fast food, But it is good fast food. With a large salsa bar and a clean interior, it really competes with sit down restaurants. We typically order the fajitas for two and they are brought out to your table. So as that goes, it is better than a sit down restaurant. For 5 people, I am out of there for $ 35. Great deal.

Best location in the area with a very friendly staff. Only once have I ever had to send something back and their food quality is far above other locations. Only thing from keeping it from getting that fifth star, other than it being fast food, is the inconsistent flavor and heat of the firehouse salsa.

Poor drive thru service. Always something wrong with the drink machine. Twice this week something was wrong with a drink, all carbonated water Sierra mist and today, only diet Pepsi and dr pepper available. Sometimes fail to put hot sauce in bag, even when you request it. Wrong items in sack but you don’t know it until you’re ready to eat. If this one wasn’t close to home, I’d drive a little further to other locations.

Fast food Mexican chain been around forever. This location on Collins is a very good clean store. I never had any issues at this location. Service is good. People are friendly. The food is fresh and hot. I like how Taco Bueno prepare the food to order. I also like the salsa bar. You get a good choice of salsa and peppers to add to your food. My favorite item is the mucho nachos. As long as they do not put to many beans on top. Taco Bueno is not my favorite place just ok. I like other taco places better. But once in a while I will check them out.

I had the BOB and the chili sauce was lackluster at best. I would stick with the chicken quesadilla, as this one seemed to have significantly more chicken. The service was exceptionally fast and efficient. They provided plenty of salsa without being asked, what a treat to not have to beg. 11⁄128:47 ticket 188

Recently took a vacation back to my home town and couldn’t resist the Bueno! I grew up on this place. The queso is so good! This is your typical mexican fast food joint, a step above Taco Bell, but below Chipotle. But like the story of the 3 bears, I wasn’t looking for the hottest taco or the coldest, I wanted the one that was just right… or in this case bueno!

Taco Bueno is just that a fast food taco place. It’s better then Taco Bell but it’s fast food. This place has always been clean when I’ve gone in and the employees are always friendly. There hot sauce is good and there food isn’t bad… If you want good mexican food go to a restaurant have a seat let someone wait on you and enjoy your meal, but if you are in a hurry go grab a cheap taco and enjoy… No need to bash the place…

Hey, what’s with this bashing? I’m a Taco Monster and these are just fine. Granted, this one right here in Arlington is the very first and only Taco Bueno I have ever visited, while I have seen them all over the DFW area. We ain’t got any of these down in Central Texas or Hell.(Houston). To me it’s slightly better than taco bell. Sure you have the yellow«corn» shell made from yellow dent corn #2, govt subsidized #1 cash crop in the US in everything from Ethanol to Corn Syrup to your hair follicles, yet they are flavored differently with a unique red sauce. No, these are not tacos per se as far as the originals from Mexico, but they are a unique twist on american tacos(not to be confused with tex-mex). No problem, I liked it. And I’m a taco guy. :) Friendly service here too.

Taco Bueno should be named Taco Mal, that is how bad it is. Like the reviewer said above, we only went here because we got free tacos at the Ranger games and so we decided to give it a try. Anyways the meat was horrible and felt like it was old. The tacos were a little soggy. However, the place was clean though so you can not argue with that. So that is why I give it two stars. I think it is worst than Del Taco and Taco Bell.

More like Taco Malo. This place is horrible. Our only reason for going here was our free taco coupons courtesy of the Rangers game, which I didn’t end up eating. The service was terrible as it took 30 minutes for us and other customers to get our food. The manager was wearing latex gloves when he prepared the food, but he touched a few non-food items with the gloves so he might as well have been wearing nothing. Most importantly, the food was horrible. My chicken burrito was disgusting, I didn’t eat more than a couple bites. And the free taco I got? Didn’t eat it because it was literally the worst taco I’ve ever had. I don’t know how you screw up a taco this badly, much less how it takes you 30 minutes to do so, but it was horrible. The Jack in the Box $.99 for 2 tacos beats this place by a mile as does Carl’s Jr.‘s Green Burrito tacos. Never. Eat. Here.
