We went to Su Casa for the first time tonight. The service and food was very good. They are super friendly and make you feel like you are part of the family. We will be back.

The staff is friendly and genuine. The food is excellent. They provide chips and salsa like most other Mexican restaurants but theirs is special. They serve extremely fresh cooked salsa that is served hot and black bean dip that are both delicious. I’ve had the sopes which taste fresh and delicious. Their enchiladas are wonderful as well. There is a reason they have sub great Unilocal reviews. Try them out.

Great little restaurant tucked in the corner of a little shopping center on the south east corner of Matlock and Sublett. If you find it you will be very satisfied. They serve chips and salsa and a black bean dip that I will drive across town for! I haven’t tried everything on the menu but plan to do so. Give this place a try you won’t regret it!

These are probably the friendliest group of people that own this place. Very hospitable and they show that they really care about their customers and restaurant. Its a little hole in the wall tucked in a corner of a small strip mall. But those are the best. Their food is great, cheap, they give you a lot and will add in sides without any up charge. It’s a place where you actually feel good about giving this family your business. There’s only one negative, but it won’t affect my 5 star rating. I am NOT a fan of hot salsa. I wish their salsa they serve with the chips was cold.

Loved this place. Tried it based on Unilocal reviews and really enjoyed it. Great service, awesome salsa, authentic homemade tasting Mexican cuisine. Thanks for a nice meal.

I must say, this place is awesome! They open early. I had never been there or even realized this place was here. So I called to place a to go order and when they answered they were very nice. I asked if they had Barbacoa and they said no, so I asked about Asada and they said they had it. I put in my order for two burritos and said I would be there in ten minutes. When I arrived, atmosphere was nice, they greeted me as soon as I walked in. The staff is SUPER nice! Their burritos are great! They had beans and rice in them, cilantro and onions would have made it better but I didn’t know it didn’t come with. I will be returning and adding on cilantro and onions

Great prices, great selection. Very friendly staff. Location isn’t great, but the inside is okay. I always get take out. They have beer and some liquor; margaritas are delicious(I usually have one while I wait!) They also have breakfast! It’s like a 1 – 2 times a month must-have. I order off menu Huevos con Barbacoa(brisket-ish beef and eggs).Amazeballs They have warm salsa which took me a time or two to get used to, but I enjoy the hell out of it now. Also, Charro beans are awesome, but you have to ask for them. I always order when I have friends and family in town as one of the you-have-to-have-this meals.

After reading all these reviews I took my daughter with me to go see what all the fuss was about. Well I have to tell you I was extremely disappointed in the staff. Once I got my food the waitress completely forgot about us. The 2 of them figured a discussion at a table together with some old man was more important than taking care of the cust. I waited 30 minutes before I had to get up and tell them I need the check. I wanted more drinks but that wasn’t an option at that point. The food wasn’t ai great to where I would put up with poor customer service. I still tipped 25% with the poor service but I will not be going back.

I’ve had Su Casa bookmarked forever and tried it for lunch when I was in Arlington last week. Like reviews say it’s literally in the elbow of the shopping center. Chips, salsa, and queso weren’t bad. The queso had Habaneros and ground beef in it. The black bean dip that was raved about was bland. I was looking forward to it too! I got the Carne asada poblano. The dish was off. Nothing tasted right about it. I did like the 3 salsas that they bring you for your meal. 1 star for the little old man who I assume was the owner, walked all the way to my corner of the restaurant to check on me.

Their house salsa, rice and micheladas were great! The rest of the food wasn’t bad, I’ve had better but prices are very reasonable. Service was good too. Overall I don’t regret coming here regardless of what some of the reviews said. I’d come back just for their salsa.

Really great Mexican food! Went last weekend with family aftet reading reviews online and we were really happy with the food, service, and down home feel. We had tacos, enchiladas, queso with chips, and everyone was happy with their food. Prices were reasonable and we got service with a smile. The restaurant is tucked in the back corner of the strip mall but isn’t hard to find.

Tacos, tacos, tacos. It’s been a big obsession of mine recently, so naturally I went to try this place out. Great Unilocal reviews, affordable prices, and family owned. Can’t go wrong, right? Right. It’s tucked away in the corner of a strip off of Matlock & Sublett. It’s easy to miss if you don’t know it’s there. I went here to get some tacos to go, and they were bigger than I expected! At only $ 1.50/taco, it’s way bigger than most street tacos I’ve had. I got the Pastor and Carnitas, and both were MINDBLOWING. The flavors really pop in your mouth, and they taste super fresh. And they give you complimentary chips and salsa(more soupy than chunky)! However, the gorditas were not so good. They lacked flavor, and it was too doughy in certain places. Definitely wouldn’t recommend those. Stick with the tacos! The service was also subpar. The girl taking my order didn’t know the prices of the items, and I had to repeat myself 3 – 4 times before she got it correct. Kind of frustrating. Besides that, I would return in a heart beat!

We enjoyed the restaurant. Came here after finding on Unilocal with over 4 stars(nearly 50 reviews)… Thought to myself, «What the heck?» Gotta be good. The staff was very friendly and inviting. The chips and sauce were ok, I am a big critic. The refried black beans were quite tasty as promised in other reviews. I little piquant for the family, but I found it quite pleasing. My wife got a dish with a variety of mexican food items. It was good, but some of the items were not much better than average, which was disappointing. I had the tacos(street?). Unilocal reviewer suggested that the barbacoa were yummy, so I got them and 1 cabrito. The barbacoa were quite tasty, the cabrito was about as good as I had, although admittedly, I find cabrito to be a bit gamey for my liking. This is definitely worth a repeat visit, but alas, I cannot issue the elusive 5th star… Perhaps their breakfast tacos may sway my vote… TTFN

We were in town and looking for Carne Guisada, and saw that this place had it. Drove over from Plano just to get some and our whole experience pretty much didn’t go well. The food was cold, bland and poorly spiced(needed salt and I rarely add it to well cooked food), a part of my meal was missing– they were out of avocados(4pm on a Sunday) and didn’t tell me until I asked where part of my meal was, they brought out one persons food almost 10 minutes before the rest of the food, some of the ingredient items did not seem fresh, the cheese enchiladas were«shitty» as explained by my friend and he wouldn’t eat them. The iced tea was even horribly pale and weak. :/ However, the salsa’s were GREAT. Like best I may have ever had. Especially the salsa and beans they bring to the table with chips. Unfortunately it may have set up our expectations to be too high. :/

So, this place has been open for almost a year– and I drive past it all the time without ever seeing it. Its literally tucked into the«elbow» of the shopping center on the south east corner of Matlock and Sublett. I bobbed and weaved all through the parking lot until I saw the little door back in the corner. Plenty of space– it looks like they rented two spaces and just cut a entry into the wall. It was way too warm in there for me, I suggest you guys get some fans or a window unit in the little cubby space where all the booths are please! Damn. that black bean dip! I flove black beans and it’s difficult to find good ones. that whole bowl was flawless! Not sharing biaches it’s all mine! They have a variety of salsas too, three if you count the one that comes with the chips. I liked the spicy orange-red one. They had lunch specials that are the way to go– I tried one of each taco;one had just chicken steet tacos; lastly a big ol plate of milanesa– flattened, lightly breaded meat. I likes the chicken and carnitas– not a fan of the fajita or pastor. Milanesa was beef– almost too thick and not tendered like I’m accustomed to eating. I’ll be back to try the enchiladas. and to eat more black bean dip!

I really liked the food here although our young waitress was a little slow on the Sunday we ate there. I had the Pollo Poblano dish that was very delicious. The location is hidden in the corner of the small shopping center; you really have to look to find this place. I do plan on returning and trying something different. I’m going to try this place again because I get excited about finding good family owned establishments that serve great dishes. The menu has a lot of items but can be difficult to read. Reading the menu was like reading a book! I did enjoy my meal though! With a little attention to detail, I think this place could be in my top«10» favorite Mexican restaurants.

Food was surprisingly good! We loved the bean dip and salsa :) Our entrees: 1. Large Carne Asada burrito, very good in size, exactly what we wanted! Make sure to specify the size you want and what you want inside(sm, med, lg) 2. Chile Relleno, half beef/half cheese, served with beans and rice. Very tasty! 3. Street tacos, exactly what we expected and very tasty! Came with a yummy bean soup They have a full bar also if you want to enjoy a beer or margarita. The staff(all family) are sooooo attentive and very very nice!
