Starbucks

Very busy Starbucks in the morning. Cashier lines go very quickly but it seems like they only had 2 baristas which had 10ish minutes to get my caramel Macchiato. Good thing I wasn’t in a rush otherwise it would’ve been a bummer to wait forever for my drink.
It’s spacious inside and comfortable seating.

this is definitely «as good as it gets» as far as starbucks is concerned. i haven’t been to every starbucks in the dc area, but this location gets my vote for best starbucks ive visited.
i wont get into details about pricing and stuff like that… its a starbucks. its gonna be a total rip. but all that aside…
…i like that there are staff there who have been there for a long time. it gives this starbucks a familiar and cozy vibe. ive never had my drink made incorrectly, and most of the staff know how to make a cappuccino which is nice. that sounds silly to say about a coffee chain, but *most* starbucks ive been to (especially in DC) dont have a clue how to make cappuccinos and i regularly get handed a cup full of milk with a hint of coffee and no foam whatsoever.
this is a nice big starbucks where there’s plenty of room to sit and work, if you are into that sort of thing.

Let me start off by saying I used to be a Starbucks fan but I’ve now switched to Peet’s…
Let’s start with the positives:
1) Wonderful location — Harrison Shopping Center has plenty of things to do.
2) Best time to come is in the mornings, if you’d like quiet-​time (afternoon bustle of kids and families coming in during the afternoon).
Improvements:
1) Wait-​time for drinks (barista’s seemed too busy «hanging out» instead of making drinks).
Negatives:
1) Some of the barista’s need an «attitude check» perhaps? I came in and ordered a green tea frappachino (typically they ask you whether you want whip or not, so to save their time of asking me at the register I stated WITH whip…). Not a big deal right? Well when they called my name and I saw there was no whip (figuring they forgot), I politely said «do you mind adding some whipped cream?» The lady I kid you not, grabbed the drink from my hand, slammed (I mean slammed) the drink on the counter before throwing it away. She then began making a new frap (I didn’t ask for a new one I simply said adding whip was fine), however she continued to make a scene by taking the blender and putting it on the counter with a bang… a little turned off by the whole ideal. She finally gave me my drink without a smile…
I left feeling confused, I didn’t mean to make her job «hard» all I wanted was whip on my frap, not trying to be a difficult customer.

My favorite Starbucks! They have the Clover, which is awesome, and the early morning crew is the best!

The guy barista was very friendly. All I wanted was a pumpkin flavored coffee, not a pumpkin spiced latte for $ 5 and he hooked me up. It made my day considering I don’t usually like Starbucks at all and would much spend my money elsewhere. The outside seating is very nice as well. Whatever. It’s Starbucks. It’s typical.

I come here a fair amount. I invariably get a latte, and it’s consistently prepared, which is more than I can say for other Starbucks. That’s all I get, though – and not too often – because everything is pretty overpriced. Only two comfortable chairs in the whole place, and parking is a challenge. But you can call me a regular!

A starbucks is a starbucks, but this one was updated and had lots of comforts such as couches and small tables to relax. Overall great service and quality drinks. Great place to go with your computer or tablet to take a drink and relax the pain away.

A Starbucks that is pretty big, with lots of seating. It was after 8 pm on a Thursday night when I visited, so it wasn’t crowded. Baristas were friendly, and made the drinks correctly.

This place is my Cheers because everybody knows my name. Sometimes my Iced Coffee is a bit off but overall it’s one of my favorite Starbucks. Baby Dave and Bernie are my favs. They know my order by my face and they’re just wonderful. Love this Starbucks

Awful service and No Smoking policy instituted recently stinks

Unfortunately first impression was not a good one. Barista took an attitude Tried to check if I had the right drink because name was off and barista snips back well that’s how I spell it. Coffee is fine but the smart aleck attitude dampens the enjoyment

Open on Christmas, unlike its supposedly «24 hour» grocery store neighbor. Staff are pretty consistently friendly.

I frequent many different Starbucks locations. A lot. This location has the Clover machine, which makes really excellent coffee. The people that are behind the counter are really nice too. I’d give this place 4 – 5 stars, except for one problem…
The last few times I’ve been there this summer, I’ve tried to sit by the window indoors. There are always a ton of flies flying around that area. What stinks even more is that those are some of the seats that have convenient power outlets for plugging in a laptop. Something needs to be done about it.

Not impressed with the new girl! Thought you were suppose to clean the cup if it was over flowing off the side of your cup! Needs to be put back on probation! The stars are no indication of the server.

Huh, I’m surprised I’ve not written a review of this Sbux! I’ve been here enough times over the years.
In the past I’ve had all sorts of drinks here: coffee, iced lattes, lattes, cappuccinos, and more.
Today I did something I’ve never, ever done before in my entire life.
I ordered Hot Tea at a Starbucks.
I’m fighting this damn cold virus and wanted some hot tea. I ordered a Grande Tea — and selected a Mint tea. I added some honey to it and it was just what I needed!
Lots of seating available at this Starbucks — and lots of people enjoying their day here!

Wow — I have never had a problem here. It is a very busy store. The staff are polite, appear to be good workers, they recognize the regulars and the manager moves 100 mph. Her energy is contagious. I see a lot of people order some really complicated drinks, delivered to their satisfaction. I have never witnessed any negative behavior. Its clean, well-​stocked, and they are very family friendly. My only issue is that people bring strollers inside and impede the movement of customers — guess because it is not a big place and I cannot blame the management for that.
