My Dad has been in Regency/Arlington for over a year.(as of June 2015). My sister and I are pleased with his care, including the PT. He can be a difficult patient at times, but the nurses have handled him with respect even at his worst moments. The staff has been adamant about changes in his care for his safety, although he doesn’t like some of those changes, my sister and I are in agreement about his safety. The changes are not unreasonable or too restrictive. He seems to like the food, overall. The trays I have seen brought to him are sensible sized portions and usually contain something fresh: a veggie or a fruit. He likes strawberry-flavor milk and they have made such accomodations for him. Prior to this facility, he was in another rehab place in the area and we are glad he has«landed» at Regency. Yes, I have seen a few staff members smoking during their break, in the designated area, but I don’t think its statistically possible for any corporation to have a completely smoke-free staff. I say, if they can fulfill the needs of your family member, go for it!

This is the worst place one could put a family member or loved one; with the exception of 1 or 2AMAZINGCNA’s, the staff is rude, smell like cigarettes, and must think they work with cattle rather than human beings. This is NOT«a place for mom»!!!
