Pizza Boli’s

They quoted 45 minutes but it took an hour.
The delivery driver didn’t use my building entry buzzer panel, so there was a little additional delay and confusion getting him in.
The pizza arrived just barely warm.
I left all this info in the Feedback form on Pizza Boli’s web site, and never heard back, so I guess they don’t intend to change.

My favorite pizza place in the area. Wings aren’t bad, the Hawaiian pizza is my favorite! I’m not crazy about their subs, and the dessert selection sucks– but that’s not what we go for anyway…

Best pizza in town. Got my pizza delivered in 30 minutes as promised.
Always great deals going on and they gave me coupon deal even though I did not have the coupon with me.

Great delivery option! Lunchtime orders come very quickly and the online ordering system is a snap for customizing dishes, in our office we generally get pizzas, The pizzas are a generous size for the price and quality of the toppings. Give them a try!

Fast delivery– quoted 40 minutes but was closer to 15. Not the worlds greatest pizza but it was fast and tasty. Two medium two topping pizzas for $ 14 was a great value. Our toddler liked the fresh tomato feta combo– who knew!
Thin crust is fine– it’s not very tasty but it’s a vehicle for getting cheese and toppings to your mouth. Sauce has a little tanginess and there is lots of cheese. A little salty but that is fine if you have a beer.

Pizza was below average similar to papa johns quality. delivery time was about average 45-​hour. Would not recommend.

I ordered a pizza for delivery by phone and was given a $ total, told them I would pay cash, and was told that it would take 40 min. Over an hr later, when I called to check the status of my order, I was told they had no record of my order. I will never order from this pizza bolis again.

Okay maybe because it is 2:10 am. but haven’t food from them in many MANY year, I think it was college. But ordered and came quickly and is good. Derlivery guy was very nice, and the cheese pizza with oil is great and my friends like the steak and cheese. Will use them again… and maybe before 1am.

A solid «meh.» Fine if you’re ordering something cheap for the kids and babysitter. Bland Philly, onion particle onion rings, pizza that makes a DiGiornos marketing team weep with joy. The wings were fine.

I’m usually skeptical of piZza places and have my go to spots! But boils hit the spot and the prices are great! We ordered a plain cheese and I’m usually not a fan of deeper dishes but this was a nice soft crust I ate five slices in five mins lol (yes v hungry!) on ex large can feed three people !

Great pizza! One of the best pizzas in this area. Very nice staff, fast delivery, and reasonable prices keep me coming back.

Until recent delivery orders, I liked Pizza Bolis. I liked their pizza-​steak sub with extra sauce. They have a special deal which includes good French-​fries and a soda. But upon a delivery order, several months ago, I was somewhat a disappointed – less meat than usual. I tried the pizza-​steak special again a few evenings ago – a rapid delivery, but this time I was even more disappointed! This one was yet more skimpy – it was gaunt! These subs aren’t made the way they used to be. –No more Pizza Bolis for me.

After last night’s order which arrived right on the time I selected, 7:45, and seeing the delivery guy’s friendly face I had to write a review. I rarely order pizza, and when I do there is no rhyme or reason, could be midnight could be 6pm, whenever. For the last four years I have had the same delivery guy. I can’t think of a single time (other than in my apt in Ballston) I’ve had a different pizza guy.
I either order extra cheese or the veggie pie, it isn’t mind-​blowing amazing pizza but it is always hot, fresh tasting, and the cheese is always gooey. I’m really in it for the cheese and the liquid garlic sauce (don’t judge me, I know it is death in a little tub). Never had an issue with the online ordering service either.
The delivery guy is awesome, I should know his name. even when I moved apartments in the same building he recognized me. I’m starting to wonder if he is even a delivery guy or someone in-​store because how it can always always be him? He is friendly with my dog and always pokes fun at the fact I’m usually looking rough watching something stupid on tv. okay, don’t think it is weird that he comes in a few feet, it is like we’re old friends. Who can say that about a delivery service nowadays?

best pizza in town. I got my delivery in 20 mins. Gyro is amazing is love this place.

These guys make a good pie, and subs are not bad. Prices are good, especially if you pick up ($ 6.99 medium 1 top is great when you don’t feel like cooking for the kids).
Avoid desserts (unless it’s a tub of Ben and Jerry’s). The cakes are what you get out of a vending machine. But the place is called Pizza Boli and they deliver on the promise of a good pie.

I hate giving 1 star to Pizza Boli’s because the DC location I used to order from was decent, but Arlington is AWFUL. My most recent order:
–mozzarella sticks were still frozen
–the gyro was disgusting
–i ordered a diet soda and got regular
This location needs to get it together.

Pizza here is ordinary, plain, pizza. Don’t know why I expected more, but the crust wasn’t good, my pizza was cold, and it was flavorless. Would take any other pizza chain over this

OK … I violated my own rule from a previous review. I tried Pizza Boli’s again. But, that’s the last time. I’ll never order again. Ever.
I ordered one Sicilian Pan Pizza (no meat, add green olive). OK, here’s where I made a mistake, and I admit it. I accidently ordered it with green PEPPER instead. My bad (and it was), but that wasn’t the problem.
First off, the pie took over an hour to arrive. When the driver knocked on my door, he was carrying TWO pizzas. On the top of the boxes there was a half piece of pepperoni. Yuck. Nasty (who knows where it came from, pepperoni). I questioned the pepperoni, and the fact that he had two pies.
He told me that I ordered 2 pizzas, but that neither one had meat, so he didn’t know where the pepperoni came from. When he told me that one pie had green peppers, I assumed they screwed up everything and insisted that he take it all away and refund my credit card (the whole thing, including tip was pre-​paid). He told me to take the pies for free (he would refund) and he apologized. But then he started making excuses … we have new staff (not my fault), we’re really busy (not my fault).
I took the pies inside and opened them. They were burned black and all bread. It was like Wonderbread with sauce. Nasty.
Both pies went down the garbage disposal. We’ll see if I get the promised refund. I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THIS PIZZA BOLIS AGAIN. EVER.

I’ve ordered delivery from Pizza Boli’s twice and both experiences delivered less than average food.
The first time I ordered stuff shells, which were rather bland and uninteresting. To top this experience off, I received a phone call from the establishment after I received my order to inform me that my address was wrong. I refuted the claim and inquired as to why the driver had not informed me of this upon arriving. The person on the phone provided a rude response and I hung up with a rather bad taste in my mouth as I began to eat my meal. As I suspected when I checked my address on my profile later, the address was clearly the right one.
The second time I ordered the special stromboli and the Oreo cheesecake. The stromboli was a huge portion, which I did not expect for the inexpensive price. However, the dessert advertised as Oreo cheesecake is actually a prepackaged Oreo crème cake (not that I expected their desserts to be made in house). However, I did expect cheesecake of some sort, which left me completely disappointed.
The best part of the experience was the friendly delivery driver. Other than that, I think two chances is one too many for this establishment. Doubt I will order delivery from here again unless I have no other option.

I am baffled by how people can give them five stars. Really?! It’s on par with the Safeway select frozen pizza — only not as good. Skip it.
