My family’s favorite Chinese restaurant! Delicious combination fried rice, sesame chicken, wonton soup, and lemon chicken. The service is wonderful too. Definitely recommend. We have been ordering food from this restaurant for as long as I can remember… We have never been disappointed.

We ordered the following on 12/11/2015: Half Peking Duck. Dry and rubbery. General Tso Chicken. Stringy and tough. Shrimp Lo Mein. Noodles were boxed linguini, not Asian style noodles. Shrimp was too salty. I found myself unable to eat it(and it you see my profile pic, I don’t refuse much in the way of food!)

Have to say for a first impression here, this wasn’t bad at all! My friend had chicken with cashews and I had the Peking lo mein and a chicken wonton soup. The portions were reasonable, save for the fact the wonton was too dumplings, but the broth was very good and finished all of it. The crunchy noodles were good but the presentation was poor. I was expecting a bowl full of them with duck sauce on the side. Instead of that, it was just a plate and looked like somebody just took a handful then spread them out. The main courses were good portions and value. My friend liked his dish but couldn’t finish it. I finished mine. The lo mein noodles weren’t quite what I’m used to, but the taste and amount of meat given made up for it, plus it wasn’t very greasy. With all that, I’d return here again and try another dish. This was a great start.

Food: eh. Left a lot to be desired actually. I was pretty much famished and it still didn’t taste amazing which is a bit alarming. Anyways I got the lunch lo mein for $ 8.75. Came with a box of rice(I’m not complaining but… why?) hot pepper oil(which had no discernible flavor whatsoever) and packet soy sauce which was… well, packet soy sauce. The lo mein itself was again, major EH. Lots of meat: shrimp, beef, and chicken which is perfect for us Kosher people, and about everyone else too. But even with that the flavor was majorly lacking! I mean it was OK and I ate it but I would never get it again. So usually, I’d give a place like this two stars but the real gem at this location is… SERVICE. Great service! Extra rice, gave me lunch price even though I was late, and just generally kind. P. S. I am new to the area(hood bridge 4 lyfe) and will have to try their fruit smoothies that all the locals were piling in for. Perhaps there is boba too! Stay tuned.

We did carry out from this restaurant. It was very tasty and prepared quickly. The food was light and not too salty. We ordered soup, chicken lo mein, and beef and broccoli.

After years of not trying this place, we tried it again last night. It was horrible. There was no flavor and it simply was not good. I could not even eat mine in spite of trying. Will not return. There are other options where it is worth a little longer drive.

Oh my goodness. What a horror story here. We waited for 30 – 40 minutes for our food to come out. We didn’t order anything complicated at all. We had steamed dumplings for appetizer, general Tsos chicken, and beef fried rice! When we inquired what’s going on with our food as people that was coming in to order take out on the spot was getting their food after 10 minutes and leaving, and other tables were also getting their foods even though they ordered after us and bigger party. They said«we are making the dumplings!» Then the manager brought us egg drop soup on the house, but we don’t eat/like egg drop soup. So that was a waste on her end because we just pushed it aside. Then the food came out. Considering how long it take, the taste was just mediocre and nothing to wooooo about. Anyways, will never come back ever again!

While pleasant, the food was not a stand-out for us. It was not as flavorful as other Chinese places we have been to in Arlington.

LOVE the food. It’s a little expensive for the amount of food you get, but there is not a better place in the area to get Chinese

I’ve eaten here for several years. Never disappointed. Every dish is wonderful. Service is great. My Fiancé and her parents have gone here for many years as well. It is well known in the neighborhood. It is well worth giving it a shot if you have never been. Look at the other reviews, I think you will like the place.

I’ve only been here once before, but remember how good the food was. My son, who’s 21 months likes to eat and loved the lo mein. In fact, he wouldn’t allow me to cool it off before trying to eat it. Service is good and very accommodating for kids. We will be back. The last time i was here was with a bunch of folks from church who recommended the spot. Nice portions and filling!

Our go-to Chinese restaurant recently closed, forcing us to try this place, and we’re so glad we did! Since I didn’t have a menu, I ordered standards like BBQ spare ribs, pan-fried dumplings, spring rolls, combination fried rice, and hot/sour soup. They don’t offer delivery, but that’s okay because we’re fairly close. The first thing my husband said after picking up our order was, «Wow, they’re really nice. The lady at the front counter is really sweet!». The food was generous in portion size and quite tasty. The ribs were the most tender we’ve had at a Chinese restaurant, and very flavorful. The pan-fried dumplings were delicious, and the spring rolls huge. We asked for 2 orders of the combination fried rice because we are always left wanting more at other restaurants. Here, we didn’t finish the generous helping of the first carton so we have leftovers for tomorrow :) The only item I was not impressed with was the hot/sour soup, but honestly, I am more than satisfied with the rest of the meal. I believe we have found our new Chinese take-out joint!

Every neighborhood deserves a local unpretentious Chinese restaurant. And this neighborhood is lucky enough to have one. I meet family here on occasion for a «catch up» dinner. No fancy bar or trendy food. Just downright good food at a good price. Great place to meet a bunch of friends for an evening out that won’t break the bank. I am jealous! I want one in my neighborhood!!!

Best for the money. If I am having company and do not want to cook, this place is the winner. Skip the egg rolls, get the special steam dumplings instead. If the have special dish I will order it, I have not been disappointed. They rock, if I say add or remove something to a dish that do it no problem(may cost extra). Everyone is happy and very full. I am amazed, I have ordered carryout for years and only once they have made a mistake, I got an extra order of dumplings. This is my ‘go to’ restaurant.

I went in to grab some beef lo mein to go with veggies. I literally stopped in for a full 2 minutes, but within that two minutes I had extremely pleasant customer service experience from what I assume was one of the owners of the business. In addition to my beef lo mein; I found a box of steamed white rice in there. I didn’t request it so I am not sure if this was standard or if she was simply doing it complimentary to be nice. Either way, I saved it for later and enjoyed it at home. At dinner time she allowed me to order a ‘lunch portion’ instead of the dinner portion which is $ 2 less than the lunch portion. I didn’t want to eat a whole lot. I asked initially when I called if they offered small portion options. I tipped extra for her kind generosity. I’d recommend this place for sure. I really liked the quality of the food and the service… basing this on the brief experience I had — that set the bar pretty high for my next visit.

My family drives from York, PA to come here to eat because it is that good. They do a dish that we call crispy beef which is amazing. The only other place I found it in the country was in the Kansas City area and though it was pretty good there, it is nothing compared to Peking Pavilion’s. The food is so good that my teenage son, who hates traveling in general, is always up for the road trip here. The restaurant is relatively small but the staff is very attentive and they get to know their customers. They are quick to ensure you have everything you need on the table and make sure your drinks do not get too low. If you have an empty dish, it is gone in a hurry. You even get more than one napkin! In all seriousness though, my family does make the excursion down here from York on a semi regular basis and typically we meet up with friends here. This is easily the best Chinese restaurant I have been to on the east coast with the exception possibly of East Chinese Restaurant in Wells Maine.

The bubble tea here is absolutely delicious and I stop in for some all the time, fresh and authentic. However, I never eat here because a few year ago I found five chewed-off human fingernails in my Cashew Chicken. It was the grossest thing I’ve ever experienced. Spitting someone else’s fingernails on to my plate is something I’d prefer to never, ever do again. However, I can’t find better bubble tea, so since the bubble tea is five stars, I give the place a three. Just watch for fingernails…
