Our waitress was nice, but the food was slow and just not good… My posts was under cooked my daughters steak was over done and my moms food just wasn’t enough… I honestly walked out full… But not satisfied

I normally love this place. I like the cheap sirloin. My husband, on the other hand, always gets a filet. First, we ordered the kids’ meals. They were out of fries. I asked for a side of macaroni. They brought out a steak house macaroni. When we tried to order a 6 oz filet, we were told they were out of that as well. Fine. We ordered the 8 oz, which they wouldn’t give for the 6 oz price. 15 min later, they come back and say there aren’t any filets. So, we try and order a ribeye. They’re out of that, too. Had to get a 22 oz t-bone. It was undercooked and chewy. Big let down. Got our bill and they tried to charge us for an extra kids meal. Manager came by and asked how everything was. We said, «Not good.» We explained in two decades, that was the first time they were out of so many things. She rudely just mentioned, «Oh, that was your first time.» She didn’t care. So, I won’t be able to get my hubby to go back. I still like my cheap sirloin, but big disappointment.

Just as a precursor, I’ve already accounted for the staff being incredibly busy on a Saturday night. Last night, I went to Outback to restore my faith in this chain restaurant after a prior bad experience. I arrived in this merrily decorated establishment and of course they were on wait(like all restaurants on copper). I decided to be seated at a stooled table. My server never introduced himself and I spent awhile making eye contact with several servers thinking of which one mine would eventually be. 7 ish min later, I was asked what I wanted to drink and if I’d like bread. Minutes later, I ordered my new York strip steak come medium well and was delighted that it was cooked to perfection. The reason for my star rating is that within the bar area, there were atleast 5 servers that were able to see my drink was empty, my table needed to be bussed, I needed my check and etc. It’s a group effort. This restaurant lacked customer centric ideals.

FIRSTANDLASTTIME… My friend wanted to go eat somewhere so she picked Outback I said cool I never been there before. They have really good deals right now also on Wednesday. I got one of the deal they were advertising my steak was wrong not once but twice and just wasn’t good. The manager was great she changed the steak out the first time I sent it back and the second I sent it back. Over all the steak just wasn’t good, but the potato soup was really good and I’m not a soup person but that was delicious. The staff and the manager had great customer services so I’m okay with the food not being to my liking. That is what makes a difference in your business. Thank You

DONOTGOHERE. This place in under new management. They changed things up and do not know how to cook. I tried coming here three times and they screwed up everything. The owner argued with me when I said the steak was under done. I ordered a medium-rare steak and it was completely red. He asked me what color I wanted the steak. Are you kidding me? What a douchebag! The blooming onions were way burnt. I asked the waitress if cucumbers came in the salad. She said it does. Received the salad with no cucumbers. Try«The KEG». That’s my new go to steakhouse. They have messed up a couple of times, but they fix it right away with no arguments.

Nice waiters, bad steaks. Save yourself the trouble and go to Texas Roadhouse or Saltgrass. Outback steaks are crap

My friends and I were in the mood for a good steak to celebrate two birthdays. so we naturally decided that Outback was the place to go. DEFINATELY a good choice. We were seated almost immediately, with a very accommodating hostess who made sure to help locate an available table that would be comfortable to accommodate my wheelchair. We got our drinks and a delicious Bloomin Onion almost immediately, and the young waitress, Donille, was delightful. She was very friendly, helpful and attentive the entire evening, adding a warm and cheerful charm to our evening without ever intruding on us. Our drinks were always filled at just the right time and service was excellent. Hot foods were hot and prepared correctly, cold foods cold… and also well prepared. The tasty bread was fresh and served with spreadable butter, and was enjoyed by all. We took advantage of the specials. I had a perfectly prepared medium rare prime rib, lobster and a bowl of some of the best French Onion soup I’ve had in a long time. My friends had strip steaks … also expertly prepared to their preferred doneness. They chose salads instead of soups, and received bright, fresh plentiful crisp salads. Also we enjoyed the fruity, delicious black berry martini. YUM! Dinner was followed with their classic key lime pie, chocolate mousse and ice cream sundaes. All were good. The mousse was killer chocolate and creamy … the key lime a perfect mix of tartness with just a touch of sweet. The sundaes(vanilla with chocolate and raspberry) were very good ice-cream topped with delicate sauces.) rounded out the sweet treats. We were all well satisfied with our dinners and with the experience … thanks to really good staff, especially Donille — who was very conscientious and helpful throughout the evening.

I have seen this location going down hill for some time now. Cheesefries were way under cooked. The child’s hamburger came with a stale bun he was unable to eat. Service was slow and they were not busy.

Came for dinner with the family and waited 1 hour for a table for 6 people. We ordered 6 steaks and 4 of them came out undercooked and had to go back to the kitchen. Overall really disappointed with the service and the kitchen and will not be coming back to this location.

Not the outback I use to know. Waitress seemed to like want to get us the check and get the hell out of their. Very disappointed. Portion seem very small might be hurting for business. Seem times have truly changed. N not for the good. And I use to come here all the time. So sad.

This is definitely my home away from home! No matter where you sit– the bar or table/booth, service is great! I go there at least once a week and have never been disappointed. I now just sit at the bar for simplicity. Katrina is the best bartender I’ve encountered. She knows what I want before I even sit down. For a chain restaurant in a big city there’s a small town family vibe. I have yet to eat a dish that I don’t like. Also, the strawberry sangrias are to die for!!!

Just recently ate here with my mom and stepdad, and I must say, I was severely disappointed and unfulfilled. We were seated quickly and the restaurant was clean. Good start to an otherwise awful dinner. As soon as our waiter appeared(Can’t remember his name, but he’s an older, blonde gentleman) I knew it was going to be a bad evening. He was very flippant and uncaring. He tossed our drink coasters aimlessly in our direction, was very curt when it came to questions, interrupted us or just walked away, didn’t check on us, and thought it was a good idea to slide my soup across the table. No, I was not sitting far from the end to warrant such an action, but because they serve the soup in a bowl atop a plate, the soup almost ended up in my lap. Luckily I saw it coming and stopped it. When the food came out, it was AWFUL! My soup was warm, but completely flavorless. I ordered a steak with garlic mashed potatoes and my steak, although cooked right, was room temperature so it had obviously been sitting out for a while, and my potatoes had zero flavor and was cold as well. I was very disappointed in this meal and definitely see myself avoiding any Outback chain because of this experience. Absolutely dismal.

All three stars are going into how wonderful the Rack of Lamb was cooked. The service, on the other hand, was thoroughly subpar, and somewhat appalling. There were several tables around us with meat dishes undercooked. This is obviously an issue with the waiter and the kitchen, and should be avoided on Easter when your restaurant is slammed with hungry guests.

I kind of love Outback Steakhouse. I know it’s a HUGE chain and there’s a billion locations and there’s no real way for them to connect to locals in a, «look how we’re celebrating the city of Arlington» kind of way, but hey. Sometimes you want a big fat steak without having to pay a big fat price for it, and as far as my experience goes, Outback consistently provides a great meal at an affordable price. At this particular location, I’ve never had to wait too long for a table. Maybe 20 minutes tops on a super busy Saturday night, but I don’t usually come with a big party and I’m a patient person. If you can’t handle a wait, then call ahead or go away. Having to wait means that other people like this restaurant and got there before you, duh. If the restaurant is totally empty and you’re waiting for no good reason, well then go on and complain because that’s weird. Outback has a great gluten free menu! There are several options, not just a couple of boring ones, and they clearly explain which salad dressings and sides are safe to eat. On my last visit I ordered the«Filet and Lobster Tail» with 2 sides — a Caesar salad sans croutons and a baked potato with everything on it. Outback always does a fine job of cooking my steak to order(medium-rare) and my lobster tail was velvety and fresh(I mean, it at least tasted fresh!). The baked potato wasn’t the best potato I’ve ever had, but I feel like baked potatoes at restaurants are never remarkable. It didn’t have that microwaved feeling or taste, so however they’re keeping them hot and ready to eat, I approve! And my salad was crunchy and flavorful. A tad too much dressing but I’ve come to expect that with Caesar salads. I have to remember to start asking for dressing on the side. Of course, Outback’s «Chocolate Thunder from Down Under» is a legit dessert for us gluten free folk, and anyone else for that matter. But the GF people almost never get a dessert option like this! A warm and gooey pecan brownie with ice cream on top?! Damn. Very simple but so appreciated and delicious.

Had dinner at the bar last night here after enjoying my lunch earlier in the day. I took care of my ribeye steak craving. The steak was tender and delicious, I asked for w medium, it may have been medium rare, but I ate it and it was good nooner heeled. The salad was basic, but good and salad dressing was very good. I like their Cabernet. The service was good, the lighting was dark so it was a cozy atmosphere.

The wait alone was over an hour so be prepared to set up camp. It appears they are short staffed at this location. After finally getting a seat and placing our order the server disappeared and it was like pulling teeth to get refills. The server seemed spread out too much and in the weeds. I only give this place two stars because the food actually was pretty good. If this place can work on the staffing issue and turn tables faster it might start getting better reviews.

The only problem was the wait time, which was 45mins the only reason why I didn’t leave was because my child fell asleep. My waitress Lauren was awesome! I ordered the Alice Spring Chicken. It was very juicy !!! My son off the Joey menu ordered the junior ribb and his shirt told the tale. Lauren and the food made it worth the wait!

Never had any issues with this Outback Steakhouse. Good and attentive service. Food is always served hot and as I ordered. Love their bread too! Their strawberry mango margarita is strong(tequila is served in a little attached cup on the side) but not much of the mango flavor. The strawberry daiquiri is good too and served in a bigger cup(presumably 8 oz glass cup) not sure why. The margarita is served in a 4 oz glass cup. I always order the chicken fried chicken with extra cream gravy and mashed potatoes. All are great! My only complaint is their chicken steaks/patties are on the smaller side, in comparison to Texas Roadhouse and Bone Daddy’s chicken fried chicken plates which have bigger chicken steaks/patties at a lesser price.

Big disappointment in the food this time. Hubby and I, with two friends went on a weeknight evening and still had to wait for a table. Started with the bread and a blooming onion. Those were good, as usual, but the bread was not very warm and tasted slightly stale/dry. I ordered the French onion soup and house salad. The soup tasted store-bought, not like I remembered. The salads are much smaller now, served in a white bowl, which is a far cry from the old way of serving it in an ice-cold bowl. Salad dressing was average and very skimpy. Hubby ordered the salmon and shrimp, with asparagus(which cost an extra buck) and he said the food was very average. No great flavones or spice combinations here. Friends each had the outback special, in 6 and 8 ounce sizes. They reported them to be tough and chewy, without any appreciable steak flavor. Each of their entrees came with two sides, but beware, several of their salads and sides now carry a buck up charge. Service was great, with frequent checking back and no empty drinks. The meal overall disappointed all of us, so I doubt any of us will return. The one thing I used to love about The Outback was their consistently a over-average execution of their entire menu, regardless of the location of the restaurant. Sadly, this visit proves that is long gone!
