While on our annual DC trip with 8th graders, we came here for lunch. We usually are served endless amounts of food. However, they were only going to serve us once. The drinks they had waiting for us(sodas) were flat and lost their carbonation. After talking with the manager and getting our drinks switched out, we were served as much as we wanted. He food was okay. It seemed like it was waiting a bit before we showed up so it didn’t taste fresh; like the drinks.

All the carbs you could ever want, all in one place! The noodles are good, but nothing particularly spectacular? I also tried ordering food through Seamless, and it took an incredibly long time to be delivered. Otherwise, the service was good.

If you work in any of the Crystal City buildings, you can get here without having to step outside. This is good for inclement weather. The food is fast, and tastes as any Noodles & Co is expected. There is outdoor, indoor, and weird in the middle seating within the lobby. It’s not the grandest of all the choices on Crystal Drive, but does the job as far as providing further variety.

Good place for a quick food. Good price(mostly are $). A bit disappointing thing are unavailable sweet tea machine and a bit salty Japanese pan noodle. Recommend when you wanna have some instant food but not recommend when you anticipate a delicate meal.

Worst Pad thai ever tried. Basic ingredients, I could only taste the onions nothing else. The cashier didn’t even take the time to ask me what I want in my order. I asked for a Pad thai without peanut but it comes with. Very disappointed.

Two stars because my 10 year old said, «I like it» although he finished none of it. Understanding that he always says that. I have come to understand that certain places only aspire to mediocrity. That appears to be the aim of the Noodles and Company chain. And yet some of those restaurants fail to reach that low bar. And this particular one fails miserably. Overcooked pasta all stuck together with burnt sections. Sauce where some bites are so bland the word tasteless comes to mind and others that are so spicy I feel like Wiley Coyote after fed Mexican food by Road Runner. This place is awful. From the food to the cleanliness(couple who let their baby have a toy back to put in her mouth after it fell on the disgusting dirty floor… do you actually like your child?), this place finds the lowest level they can possibly get to. Pass on this one.

This is your standard Noodle and Company, but there are three things they do really well: 1) Pesto cavatappi– It’s perfectly cooked and perfectly seasoned and if you add a breaded chicken breast to it, it hits the spot every time. 2) Rice krispie treats– Random, I know, but they are HUGE and perfectly soft every time. 3) Honest Tea– they sell real brewed organic tea that’s just a tad sweet to make you feel a little better eating at a fast casual restaurant. If you’re shopping in the Ballston Common Mall, this is not a bad option for lunch or dinner.

Small portion for the price. It was find but not very authentic. Servers are nice and attentive. Helped us to choose our dishes since it was our first time. However, we would not come back here again though as there are many restaurants near by that we could chose from. The restaurant is clean and organized. We came in late at night so there were only few patrons and no line. Food came out quickly.

I don’t go here anymore. The service is terrible and the food is worse. If you like your food basic, lacking in flavor, unhealthy and cheap, go here.

Noodles and company is my favorite! It took me many visits to fall in love with it because finally I realized how to enjoy it! Now I customize my own bowl and I discovered many ingredients that can be enjoyed there! I like that pay attention to the details, never get bored from my details too and never made mistakes! My favorite bowl is the Penne Rosa(sometimes substitute spaghetti) extra noodles, extra Rosa sauce, parmesan cheese, parmesan chicken, shrimp and add cilantro! It’s amazing! Thanks noodles & company :)

No complaints. Not top quality food, but reliable and decent. Restaurant is clean and employees polite. I went on my birthday with a coupon for a free bowl, and they insisted on also giving me a free GIANT rice krispee treat! Yay!

Normally, Noodles and Co. is one of my favorite chains to grab a quick bite at – cheap, fast, and options that satisfy! However, after going to this one several times now, I’ve noticed that EVERY time I order the mac and cheese it’s super watery, and not as cheesy as other Noodles and Co. I’ve been to. Disappointing.

Back again, still a 2. This time I’m here well after the rush. There was no line and only 2 tables seated and the place was filthy! I sat next to a caution wet floor sign thinking it would be the cleanest place in there I sat on a seat where they had placed a dirty bus tub so the seat had dried on sticky stuff. The bus boy, who also took my order was picking up dishes around the area so I let him know. «Oh, *shrugs*, sorry». The I moved so he could clean the area. Someone from the kitchen started yelling his name so he sat his dirty bus tub next to me and left it there during my whole lunch. He looked young and this is probably his first job so I’ll cut him some slack. I had to repeat my order to him three times and I only ordered a Mediterranean salad with chicken and a fountain drink. He just wanted to keep confirming it I guess. Then he cut me off on my way to the drink fountain. I’m not sure what he was urgently attending to there but he just did a quick inspection then darted off to his bus tub only to pick it up and cut me off again on my way to the dining area. Maybe he was just stressed at how dirty the place was and needed more help. I think they need to get this guy some assistance. He was polite enough to ask me if I enjoyed my meal before leaving. On the up side, my Mediterranean salad was very good. Who knew salad came with noodles?! I mean, I know it’s called Noodle & Co but I really was just expediting lettuce and chicken. It was great and just a little spicy.

I came here as part of a field trip for the We The People National Competition in DC and I was appalled at how low quality of an establishment this place really is. First, service. From the start, waiters were disinterested in serving us. I accidentally sat at a table that was not reserved for my school group and I was harshly scolded to move to a table on the other side(how am I to know where to sit, you didn’t even seat me despite seating others). To the food. After I was«kindly» escorted to a table, I waited for about 10 mins without a menu to be offered four choices(student selection I guess?): Mac and Cheese, Wisconsin Cheese Steak, Spaghetti, and Caesar Salad. The spaghetti and Mac were available with or without meatballs, but being a vegetarian I ordered the Mac and Cheese. I also ordered a Thai Curry Soup as a side, however the waiter was not certain if the soup was vegetarian(are you serious? Can you find out and get back to me?) I might note that the chaperones on the trip were provided a different menu, something I noted as being unfair given that most of the students in my group were 18+. Why we were being treated differently I don’t know. Once the Mac and Cheese arrived I dug in. Upon first bite I noticed a strange synchronicity: the Mac and cheese looked, smelled, and tasted almost exactly like Kraft Mac and Cheese. Worse yet, the cheese tasted pasty, leaving a weird after taste that even Kraft Mac and cheese doesn’t do. I asked for pepper to make the food more flavorful, but after another 10 minutes of waiting no waiter came by with pepper… With so much hunger(It had been 7 hours with no meal) my expectations were low, but even yet, this food was not good. The service made it worse, and overall I felt cheated. Management if you are reading this, please be aware the students have taste buds and feelings too and I hope you made enough profit to ignore that.

I love this place. It’s pretty cheap, and it’s yummy food. It’s not exactly gourmet, but its hearty and filling and perfect especially for cold winter days. They have lots of pasta dishes, but they also have soups, salads, and sandwiches. The staff at this location was pleasant, and helpful, although young and still learning the art of the service industry, but I think that’s a good thing. I had a side of soup(the tomato basil bisque — my go to), a regular(large) dish of the buffalo mac n cheese(mmm), and a beer, and my tab was $ 15. Not too shabby.

This was my first time visiting this particular Noodles & Company location and after my experience it will be my last. If you’re in the general area of this Noodles & Company location, I’d recommend going to the Noodles & Company location in Pentagon Row instead. I ordered the Spinach and Fresh Fruit Salad that the description said came with seasonal fruit. FYI — despite it being the middle of summer with lots of different types of fruit in season, seasonal fruit consists of only strawberries. Which would be fine, but that was the least of the problems I ran into at this location. While ordering my salad, I asked for the dressing on the side and the salad to go. What arrived was a salad in a eat-in bowl(not to-go, strike 1) and then not only lots of salad dressing on the salad but 3 more containers of salad dressing on the side(strike 2)! I honestly don’t know what anyone would do with that many containers of salad dressing, particularly when I wasn’t sure that I was going to like the salad dressing to begin with, hence asking for it on the side!

We came here for a quick lunch today and it was not a pleasant experience. We ordered a small pad Thai, side of cucumber and tomato salad, a regular japanese pan noodles, and a side of chicken noodle soup. Our food took over 20 minutes to come out and even then I had to wait an additional 5 minutes for my pad Thai. The worst part was that my pad Thai had a hair in it! Not sure if it was from the server or cook but it was terribly unappetizing and completely ruined my appetite. We will not be coming back here ever again, it was truly the worst Noodles and Co location I have ever been to.

I paid $ 11 for elbow noodles, a bit of drizzled cheese, too much parsley, Parmesan cheese and mushrooms. The only good part of this meal was the added chicken. As far as cost, I paid way too much. And their signature dish of mac and cheese with truffle oil was a cluster mess of flavors that were added disproportionately. I am sure their soups are good, and maybe their sandwiches, but pasta from here is a NO for me. Added bonus… great customer service.

Let the weekend of random free birthday food begin! I started the weekend here, at Noodles & Company, because being a part of their online email list, you receive a free bowl of your choice(up to $ 9 — which is basically everything on the menu with meat/tofu added if you like). Considering it was snowing today and I couldn’t muster any DC troops to go with me to VA, I ended up getting the Pad Thai dish with shrimp to go. The restaurant was very clean and modern-looking. While empty, the staff were very friendly and gladly accepted my printed-off coupon. I barely had time to log into their free wi-fi before the hostess hand-delivered the meal to me in a neat brown-paper bag. She had already included plastic silverware and napkins, so I was all set to go. Later, from the warm comfort of my couch(watching ESPN in preparation for the Superbowl tomorrow), I was able to enjoy the delicious noodles. I was very impressed with the quality and quantity. I had to save a little bit for later because I was full. Even if the bowl wasn’t free, it is still a very affordable $ 5.59 for a large bowl. I wish there was a DC location, but according to their website one should be coming«soon»! Sweet!
