«If by New York-style they actually mean Arabic /Mediterranean then ok» Food: 3⁄5 Service: 4⁄5(counter service) Atmosphere: 3⁄5 Parking: 1⁄5 Cleanliness: 3⁄5 This little deli sits sandwiched between 3 – 4 other competing deli-style sandwich shops in one of the many government contractor buildings in Crystal City. Though it calls itself a «New York style deli», don’t come here looking for pastrami, bagels, or Ruebens. This is no Yiddish/Jewish/Italian establishment and instead serves falafel, gyros, lentils, and other Middle-Eastern foods. The gyro sandwich was passably good though it came on whole wheat pita… not advertised and certainly not something I asked for. This bread, while healthier, was not what I wanted at a time of craving a proper gyro and served as the least tasty part of the sandwich itself. The lentil soup was flavorful and rich though I could clearly see from where I was sitting that the employee literally microwaved it in a Styrofoam container in front of my eyes… appetizing. Like all things crystal city area, the parking situation is terrible and costly. The particular parking garage that services this building(Century 2) is especially dreadful with dangerously low ceilings/random pipes, roughly 20−30% of the parking spots are retail parking while the rest are mysteriously«reserved» yet perpetually empty, not to mention they only take cash(cash? What is this? 1950?) AND it’s very pricy to top it all off. Horrible excuse for a parking garage. Overall, the food was OK, the service was quick and in a moderately clean establishment for being a deli. The prices are fair enough to merit a trip if you may be in a hurry and just craving a quick gyro or other Mid-East feast.

This is a great place for a quick lunch. The gyros are pretty tasty and the prices are great for the area.
