Milo’s Bar

We found this bar on Unilocal because it said there was cornhole. When we got there, on a Sunday afternoon, there were just a few people there. The bartender was awesome, drinks were reasonable and delicious. He makes a mean bloody mary. If we’re ever in the area again, we will definitely be back here.

The drink prices are great and the bar staff makes you feel like family. The music is always enjoyable and the DJ (s) keep it exciting. Milo’s is the perfect getaway spot to relax or hang out with friends.

First time in Arlington for a Rangers game. Found this place on Unilocal.Best decision ever! The vibe was awesome, music was great and OMG the drink prices had me thinking the guy didn’t charge me for everything. Beyond reasonable.

Came last weekend just checking out a few bars in the area for an event… They were nice… drinks were good prices… but…it would be better with a more diverse crowd and music.

Looks bad from outside but inside is pretty cool! Good drinks and service! Laid back atmosphere!

Happened upon this place while on vacation, and couldn’t have been more happy! Great drinks, great patio, weekend specials, pool tables, and amazing tunes! Tyler the bartender is a great conversationalist and made us feel totally welcome there. Will definitely be going back when in the area again!!!

Closing time arrived. My buddies and I were playing a game of pool and a server came over and pushed all the balls in the table and said «games over». Okay, I would completely understand if we were the only ones left in the bar and the staff was waiting on us to close although, there were about fifty remaining people still drinking in the bar. We had one ball on the pool table left to shoot in our tournament we had been playing (that we informed him of) and «he» the server showed absolutely no regard for us. We stood in the lobby for our über for 15 more minutes and there was still about 15 more people drinking. I will never be back here. Between me and my friends we spent 150 dollars and that’s how they respect their customers. Wow.

I moved away about a year ago but I always make an effort to come here when I’m in town. The staff is super friendly, the drinks are cheap. There is 3 pool tables, a ping pong table and corn hole out in their lovely patio. Too cold? They have a fire pit!!!
Only con is they allow smoking inside.

Awesome little bar hidden away. Like others have said, the parking lot is small. Luckily I brought the little car and squeezed in. Be warned, it is smoking so if that’s not your thing then I wouldn’t recommend it for you. It has different things to keep you entertained. 3 pool tables, ping pong, darts and corn hole. I went on a Sat night and they had a DJ. He did a good job plus the music he was playing, the music video was in the TVs too.
The bar staff were really good for how busy it was. I was recommended the dragon baby shot and it was legit. Good amount of beers on tap too. You can get fish bowls and the prices are very reasonable. Very diverse crowd.
I have to knock off a star for the bathroom. It was undersized for how many people the place can hold. The walls were also filled with naked pictures of women which I found a little disturbing in a bathroom.

I love going to milos with my husband and friends! A good mix of music and the bartenders are awesome! They have pool and diff games on the patio! We don’t go as often because of the distance but if we just gotta get out, milos is still worth the drive! Check them out!

Miss this spot. went by with the wife and we had a BLAST! These dudes literally showed us some love… I just wish we had something similar out here in Cali. Thanks for the great time fellas…

Milos is THE BEST bar in Arlington. Great staff, amazing drinks and shots and prices that you can’t beat. We called on thanksgiving to see if they were open and they weren’t going to be to the general public, but decided to once I called. Fletch and Tyler are amazing. Go to Milos and you will NOT be disappointed!

Looks sketchy divey out front but is fun inside and out back. 4.5 stars
Highlights:
— Back patio: nice space with cornhole (Texas flag designed) and humungo jenga
— DJ: played great music synced with videos on the tvs
— Atmosphere: variety with couches and boardroom chairs with movie posters inside and alcohol posters outside in the lit area.
— People: good combo and not too crowded so it was relaxed. Nice break from anything trendy that can be a scene.
— Guy came around with a box of pork tamales and steak and potato burritos around 1am. Awesomeness
— Cheap drinks: round of 4 mixed drinks for $ 25
Lowlights
— Out in the middle of nowhere over a half a mile away from Cowboys stadium.
We were at an event there and killing time for traffic to die down to get a ride back to downtown. Planned to stay for just a few minutes but ended up staying all night. :-)

Been to this bar once. It is a lot roomier than it looks on the outside. I would definitely consider this as a local bar, doesn’t look like the type that someone would come a far ways to try because it is located on a side street near Uta where it is very easy to overlook. Not much décor outside or anything at all to advertise/​show they are open. When I was there, they did not really have that big of a drink selection. The thing I really like about this place was the backdoor patio seating, it was very cute and better than the actual inside for sure.

So this bar is pretty neat. From the outside, you can’t really see much, but once you go inside, it’s a great setup. From what I know, this is a bar that was once very popular years ago and over time, kind of fell off the radar, but new management is revitalizing the place.
Good drink specials (Sunday-​Funday — lots of stuff is $ 3). they have house-​made cocktails on tap (a bit like trashcan punch — sweet and sneaky!). They have a REALLY great patio now. not a lot of cover so I think it’s way too hot to be out there in summer, but once it cools off, I’ll check it out for sure.
There’s pool, a digital jukebox, and very fun and friendly bartenders. The times I’ve gone in, it hasn’t been very crowded, but we went during «off» times. Sunday afternoon, etc.
Definitely a cool vibe in there, good drinks, good times! =)

Went with my girlfriends to see how this bar is because it had so many good reviews! Was disappointed with the music selection. this bar is no where near an «upscale» bar. If you want a chill place with throwback music then this is the place for you. Cheap drinks and they have darts, pool etc and outdoor patio! The bartenders were very nice!

Although I gave Milo’s 5 stars last time I reviewed it (over a year ago), I still wanted to write a new 5 star update. Milo’s itself has been updated, so I think they deserve it!
The essence of this bar has not changed a bit, so don’t worry. They’re still super divey, totally casual and comfortable, classically dark and smokey, and run by killer bartenders and staff who know how to keep a bar dynamic and familiar at the same time (and who seriously know how to mix drinks and invent creative, delicious shots).
The main change to Milo’s, and it’s been this way for awhile now (I should have updated sooner) is that they have an amazing patio outback. You seriously cannot tell from the outside, or even from the inside, that this sweet space exists. You just gotta know it’s there and walk through the very back door to access it. The patio isn’t large, but it feels roomy and there are really comfortable cushioned seats and picnic tables. Plus, they’ve got all kinds of games out there to keep you entertained, like corn-​hole! The whole patio is surrounded by a really tall privacy fence, so you feel safe, secure, and like you’re in the know of a cool secret space. So fun.
Make sure you come in on a Friday or Saturday night to see this place in action and to listen to the amazing DJ Patrick. He plays awesome mixed music videos along with his music. It’s some serious dance inspiration, you just can’t sit still.
Milo’s still has their ping pong table, darts, several pool tables, a juke box (for when the DJ isn’t doing his thing), clean bathrooms, stellar drink specials, and fun themed events from time to time. This is the kind of bar that will live on forever because they know how to modernize without losing any of their original essence. You’ll see people from all walks of life hanging out at Milo’s, and everyone is smiling (and hopefully drinking Dragon Baby shots!!).

Oh how I love Milos! This is one of Arlingtons best kept secrets! If you even notice the powder blue building in the first place– you would never expect to find such bad-​assery inside.
You will smell like an ashtray after– but its totally worth it. The only issue they have is parking, so carpool or bring your mini cooper cause its a small lot! Once inside however is different– the place is very spacious and they have a patio if the smoke becomes too much for you. And while you are out there, play a little corn hole– you’re welcome!
Make sure you invest in the juke box right when you get there– the music is crazy diverse– Luke Bryant followed by some Biggie right when we walked in. Then mosey over to the bar and check out the shot menu– its amazingly fabulous! Try a Ray Charles to kick it off– you throw ice cubes at the bar over your shoulder and the first three bottles you hit is your shot– this can be disastrous so get it out of the way!
My crew loves the dragon babies– and Fletcher (Can’t miss him– he has an epic beard and awesome mohawk) will make you a larger version as a drink.
