If I could give this firm zero stars I would. We’ve used Mid-Atlantic Adventures for several years to provide an activity for our important start of the program year kick off event. Last year(2014) the delivery was delayed by several hours(but arrived in time for the start of the event) so I was willing to forgive. This year the delivery was scheduled for 2:00 with an event start of 4:00. The delivery crew never showed and kept promising they would arrive in 45 minutes… or 15 minutes… sometimes 10 minutes depending on how irate we were on the phone. They arrived 20 minutes after the 4:00 pm event start time — with no apology. The promised«15-minutes-to-set-up» stretched to an hour and required our help to get the parts into the location(even though there was an easier way to get the parts into our courtyard — I guess they just didn’t want to move the truck.) Our event ended at 6:00, and we were given the inflatable at 5:15 — so we had 45 minutes for something we paid over $ 800! The delivery crew said we could have it until 7:00 — gee, thanks. Everyone was planning to leave at 6:00… When I called to complain on Monday morning, the person on the phone said he’d need to talk to the delivery crew to «get their side of the story» — like I was lying? Am I irate? Absolutely. NEVERAGAIN! Update: On Monday the person I spoke with promised a phone call by the owner on Tuesday… it is now Wednesday and no contact. Update 2: Wednesday — The owner will give us a whopping $ 200 back for ruining our event. Not real happy.

Gary was amazing! He was thoughtful and helped us pick the best spot. He answered all of our questions. He taught us how to use the sno cone machine… cannot say enough great things about him!!! Please be sure to ask for Gary. Rafael also helped us get the contract set up

Everything about this company was good… Until it wasn’t. We rented a bounce castle which they plugged into our house. After the bounce castle ran for about an hour it triped a breaker. After examining the cords and realizing the problem I noticed the electric receptacle was melted. I removed the cord, it required the use of dish rag to remove the cord it was so hot. We called mid Atlantic and left a message, but never received a phone call back. We attempted them throughout the day Monday and finally got ahold of them, the event occurred on a Saturday. It took a week and a half, and more calls from us before we finally were told they would not pay for the damages, after telling us the first time they would. They then informed us that our houses power was not appropriate for us of their equipment — even though they never looked at breakers outlets or anything else. After talking to the electrician who built the house, less than a year ago, we were told he had zero doubts it was their cord. I have no doubt they are side stepping the issue with THEIR equipment. One of their cords, a three prong plug, had zero issues, the other was a two prong and caused this damage. Had they taken the proper steps to verify the safety of their equipment and handled this matter correctly I would have recommended this company. However, it appears rather than think safety first they are placing the blame elsewhere.
