Maaco Collision Repair & Auto Painting

Never never take your car to this place for repair!!! We had a totally awful experience with this place. First, it seemed ok with fixing the car from collision but from one week of not doing anything for repair to totally ignoring customers’ phone calls, this place is totally messed up. I just can’t figure out how they run the place. If you take your car this place to repair, you need to expect to rent a car almost three weeks, which was our case.

I brought my SUV (2012 Acura mdx, black) to Maaco in North Richland Hills for an estimate to repair the driver side back quarter panel… Dean was so pleasant, professional and quick to quote. The estimate was about what I was expecting to pay and scheduled service for Arlington store (where paint work is done) for the following week.
Jay and Kristina and their team at Arlington shop were wonderful from the minute you step in the store. They considered the entire scope of paint work to be done, communicated every step of the way with me and truly did awesome work (I had a dent repair guy do the actual repair work and wasn’t the best… I was concerned would be like putting lipstick on a pig but they genuinely made it look so good!) They were conservative to say 4 business days to get it done and I picked it up in 2 without sacrificing quality.

Bottom line is — RUN and RUN as fast as your legs get you. I paid for their $ 1099 paint service on my Jaguar. Had to take it back more than twice for them to fix oversprays and cloudy spots in several spots of the paint job. In addition, they broke several harnesses in the process which they claim they weren’t going to fix.
On top of that, the owner — Anastacio was a real JERK and disrespectful. He had the damn nerve to say they don’t do a perfect job and I shouldn’t expect perfection. Well I wasn’t looking for perfection but also wasn’t looking for a SLOPPY job either. He also told me I ONLY paid $ 1200. What a nerve. Bottom line — I paid for my paint job and service and you broke my stuff!!! Even if I only paid $ 2, it wasn’t free. RUN FOLKS!!! Won’t recommend to my enemy
