When told it would take 1 ½ hours for delivery, I called and was told it would be 30 minutes. It took more than 3 ½ hours! Not only that, but then the pizzas looked like it was stood on end as the toppings were completely off of one pizza, and both were crushed!!! Disgusting, unprofessional, and downright rude! I don’t even want to give them one star!!!

First Unilocal review ever, for a reason. The food was decent, honestly we would’ve enjoyed it if we went to the restaurant to eat. That being said, the delivery and ensuing customer service was pretty awful. Our most recent situation is actually the third case in which delivery and service was sub par. In this case the food took almost and hour and a half, and was lukewarm upon delivery. When I called the restaurant the manager, Brian, apologized profusely and promised a $ 15 gift card(which I never received despite him reading back my email address). The delivery guy arrived shortly thereafter, shoved the bag in my face and left without uttering a word. Not a great experience Pros: Food is pretty good Cons: Service is 2⁄10

We stopped going to this Lost Dog location because the food was not good and the service was spacey bad. We went 5 Friday nights in a row(my kids love the pizza) and the soup was always lukewarm, the bread was stale, the salad wilted and we never got our drinks promptly or our appetizers before our entrée(always all at once). We asked for and didn’t get silverware, etc. How does this place stay in business?

I have eaten here several times, and finally am writing my review. If you want a beer, this is a great choice. They also make good pizza. I think the food is overpriced. $ 8.50 for a basic sandwich, and fries are an additional $ 2 +. The sandwich selection is very good. But I came away thinking I way overpaid for what I got. My fries were burnt. Black edges and extra crunchy(not crispy). The waiter was very poor, he did not refer to any specials, and did not chat us up at all. I wish he had pointed out the specials as I would have chosen a pizza instead as they were $ 2 off. I ordered beer that was on their draft menu that seemed to be my taste, to find out several minutes later that they were out. The waiter should have known this. In general, go in knowing you will be paying a lot for what you get, and it will be middle of the road food.

Ok, my faith has been restored. The other night must have been an off day for this location. We decided to give it another go after running into the owner(who happens to be very professional with the utmost customer service) who was concerned about our experience the other night and asked us to try this location again. I’m glad we did! It is so nice to encounter someone who really cares about their customer’s satisfaction. It’s a huge plus in my book and can make or break a business. This time the BF got chicken parmesan pasta and requested extra white sauce, the addition of onions as well as a little red sauce mixed in. I ordered a turkey sub with moz, fontina, kalamata olives, light lettuce and mayo. My pregnant ass also got another milkshake and PB pie. The girl on the phone was patient and polite and they got the order right to a T. The bread was fresh and toasted perfectly and they made my mans pasta just how he asked. It was actually delicious. THANKS Lost Dog South Arlington!!! Can’t wait to order delivery from you guys again soon. :)

Must’ve been an off day. Took about an hour for delivery and food seemed off. Sub wasn’t toasted and pizza dough was cooked all the way. Seemed like it was rushed.

I don’t know how Lost Dog doesn’t have 5 stars. Myself and my family have been going since the first original Lost Dog opened. In the hundred(thousand, maybe? No, just kidding) times I’ve been there I have never had a bad experience. Great beer, great food, what is there not to like? My favorite sandwich is the Big Dog. Try it, if you haven’t.

My first time here and I have to say I am impressed! The sandwiches all sound yummy but I opted for the pizza. I LOVEPIZZA! So I decided to play it safe. I ordered a individual pizza with fresh spinach, mushrooms and pepperoni and fries. The fries were seasoned well and the pizza was so good! I even ate the crust and I hate crust… While reviewing the menu and the beer selection I decided to try a beer. I’m not a beer drinker, I prefer wine, but I do like the cider beers, such as angry orchards. So I decided on the Floris Apple and the Kriek Boon. The Floris Apple is sooooooo freaking delish! If you like Angry Orchards you would love the Floris Apple! I haven’t tried the Kriek Boon but as soon as I do I will update this review. I will definitely return here! & im looking forward to it! You won’t regret trying Lost Dog too!

My go to for pizza in Arlington, so fresh and good! Even my family from NY likes it. I’ve ordered from them 4 times now. I did have one not great experience on a busy night when they messed up a special request in a pizza. The manager was very professional, apologetic, and provided me a gift card which I have already used!

I have not been to any of their locations but only have used the Unilocal24 delivery. Good service there and easy to use. I have ordered multiple times. The go to is the Kujo and you must add pine nuts for the taste and texture. The pizza is not New York or Chicago style, it is just a good cooked pie. I have ordered their sandwiches and very good but with delivery they are not on their prime. Still tasty but I look forward to being there to have it quicker off the lot.

I will admit Lost Dog Café is a cool place to eat at. There are plenty of things for you to explore and see. However, I feel it is overhyped and the food was not that great. I ordered the Fat Willis Chopped Salad, which comes with grilled chicken breast, crisp smoked bacon, extra avocado, the usual salad mix for a chopped salad and parm dressing. It was nothing more than a big salad that had a slightly better-tasting bacon on top of it. The onion rings were good, but not delicious. I would not say it changed my life going there. There were lots of beers to choose from, which I am assuming if I was drunk the food would have been phenomenal! That is what grease can do to your drunk pallet. I did go to this one instead of the main one on Washington. I am not sure if they are different, but it appears that location has more positive reviews than the location I went to. I would suggest visiting the Washington Blvd. location for a better experience with better food. Overall, I give the place an average three rating. The food was decent. The place seemed clean. The customer service was okay. It was nothing special like it was hyped up to be. However, for Beer lovers you will definitely love the place!

I keep coming back here and I’m never not satisfied. The menu selection would get under Gordon Ramsey’s skin because it is a novel but a good novel. I never ordered anything I didn’t enjoy so that’s a plus in my book. I recently ordered dessert yesterday(game changer) a warm brownie with mint chocolate chip ice cream and warm fudge. I also ordered there lasagna and few pasta’s before, the plus’ were that the cheese and sauce was never ending — the minus: if you don’t like that sorta thing. The only thing I can say is sometimes the sandwiches aren’t as hot as I’d like them to be but they still taste good! Note** Root Beer on tap is a thing and it is here!

After reading the description of every gourmet pizza on the menu and thinking that(almost) all of them sounded delicious, I finally decided on the Polynesian. It’s basically a Hawaiian pizza with the addition of shrimp and bacon. So good! They also have a solid selection of draft and bottled beers. Great spot for a casual dinner.

Our new neighborhood spot for pizza and sandwiches, Lost Dog café is a great find! It is a cute little spot on Columbia Pike that even carries it’s own beers. On our last visit, my husband and I shared a Buffalo Beagle and a Polynesian pizza. There were leftovers from the pizza but not from the sandwich which is not a huge portion but super fresh and tasty. The pizza was also really good and we enjoyed our whole meal. It is a small chain yet did not have that chain feel. The atmosphere was cozy and the service was friendly. I liked that the food wasn’t overly greasy and still delicious at the same time. My husband has been there before and enjoys their homemade craft beers. I believe they deliver beer so that’s another plus for them! Can’t wait to move down the street and go to Lost Dog café all the time!

This used to be one of the main-stays for lunch at work. Since the ‘lunching’ coworker group has left, it’s been a while since I’ve had some«Lost Dog.» The reason? The gigantic minimum $ amount for delivery. Generally I don’t order $ 25 of food for just myself, but with 2 people it’s much easier. Done and done! I got the ‘Bureaucrat’ sandwich. Turkey, muenster, bacon, lettuce, honey mustard, on whole wheat. Also, some chips and a chocolate chip cookie. While they did get the bread wrong(it was on a pita) the sandwich was still delicious! I really like the meat they use and the bacon… Mmmmm. They did forget my chips, which i was a little saddened by but luckily the sandwich delivered. My friends fries were pretty burnt but she said her sandwich was also very delicious. Overall a good representation of why I like this place so much.

SOOO many options! It was definitely overwhelming to look at the menu and narrow down the choices– ended up with a sandwich, Italian fries(waffle fries) and their new salad with the grilled tuna steak– the dock dog salad. It’s a good place to go if you’re with a group of people and need lots of choices. Otherwise, I think it’s your standard pub fare. Reminded me a lot of a BJs-esque type restaurant that you’d find on the west coast with their wide assortment of pizzas, sandwiches and salads.

I used to live near the original Lost Dog, and was pretty excited when they opened this one on Columbia Pike. My husband and I get delivery all the time, but with limited parking, we rarely visit the restaurant proper. We decided to meet with another couple for dinner this time. The décor is just as fun as the other location, and the service is great. They have a great selection of beers for the guys, and all of their pizzas can come in gluten free crust. They accidentally made the wrong pizza for my friend, and though she didn’t ask, they went ahead and made her a new one, letting her take one of them home. Their root beer is soooo good. So is their chicken corn chowder soup.

I’ve been here a few times before. Every time I come I want to order their waffle fries but they are never quite as good as I want them to be. This time I ordered the fat Molly which is chicken, spinach, peppers, and cheese on a pita. It was ok, tasted healthy. It didn’t come as hot as I wanted it to be. I think they use frozen spinach and the to temperature just add me feel like they could’ve ward it up a by more. For about 10 bucks, it was just ok and I may make it myself next time. Their beer selection actually surprised me. They had that game of thrones beer, Valar morgulis which was slightly sweet. I’d drink it again. The reason I’m giving this place 4 stars is because of fellow diners liked their food just fine and the restaurant itself supports a good cause.

Let’s dinner at Lost Dog Diner! If you like meaty sandwiches and pizzas, a large selection of beers, and live near Columbia Pike… this is the place for you. Food — If I remember correctly, there are 52 sandwich options ranging from $ 8 – 10. Pizzas, pastas and salads too. If you’re vego, there isn’t a wide selection but you can create your own. Drinks — Several drafts, multiple flights options, and lots of bottled beers(~$ 6 – 9). Pretty sweet spot overall off Columbia Pike.
