Kim Myung Acupuncture & Herbal Clinic

I went here today (9÷19÷2009) and it was my first time experience with acupuncture. I spoke with the Doctor (?) and told him what was bothering me and he explained about blockages, chi, and the flow of energy. It started off with me laying on my stomach, he checked different pain areas and places that were tender to pressure. The pins were inserted in various places on my back side. Some areas, I did not even feel the pin being inserted and in some other areas, it would feel like a pinch. But it wasn’t that bad overall. The acupuncturist then comes back into the room to remove the pins. Then I lay on my back where pins where inserted on different areas on my front side. He added some electric device to a couple of pins around my shoulder area because I have some pretty bad pain in that area from a past weight lifting injury. I lay there for another 20 minutes. Not sure if this was related to a pin or what but I got VERY giggly a few times laughing for no reason. After the 20 minutes, the pins were removed and he had me close my eyes and did some kind of CHI thing where I felt heat flowing down my right leg. I never felt anything like that before. It was nice. After that, he showed me some breathing techniques and some basic exercises to control my chi. I went home… took a nap, and I just woke up feeling real awesome… it feels like circulation is awesome. I’ll definitely be going back.
