I took a steel rack to Ivey Welding to have a shelf moved. He was more than happy to accept the relatively small job, told me it would take under an hour in labor, and quoted a max price. He said it might take a couple days to get it done.
Later in the day I got a call; it was all done. He charged the actual time it took to do, not just the max price quoted. And he was nice enough to spot prime the area he welded.
Absolutely great to do business with. Super friendly and high quality work.

I took a mid 70’s dirt bike frame to have a hoop welded onto the end to convert it to a street tracker. I got a quote from a motorcycle shop of more than $ 160 dollars. For such a small job I had a hard time stomaching that price. I took it to Ivey welding hoping that they would accept such a small job, and I was pleasantly surprised. Chris was very helpful and after taking a quick look said «no problem» and quoted me their minimum as it would likely take under and hour. He said it would take a couple of days, and it was ready right on time with a friendly call the morning of the second day. The quality of the work is top notch, the service was friendly, and the pricing was great… ¼ of what I was quoted by the MC shop!
I was very pleased with the work done and from now on I will take any welding work I need, large or small, straight to Ivey welding.
