Holiday Inn Express & Suites Arlington

Love this place and the people that work here. I have been staying here for work 2 weeks and 1 weekend home and back forn2 more weeks since September. They make me feel like I am home. I will stay at no other place in Arlington Texas.

We had a pleasant experience staying at this Holiday Inn Hotel. It was clean and the staff seamed friendly. Check in and departure was easy. The rooms included mini fridges and small microwaves which was great for cool drinks and easy snacks. The fitness center was small, but well equipped.
Cons: the staff did not check the fitness center and so sanitizing wipes were empty and water was not available. Also, there were some areas of the room that could use a refresh and attention to detail. For example, the bathroom door had wood veneer pealing on the inside, probably from steam over time.
Overall, we would stay again.

We were pleasantly surprised by all of the aspects of this hotel; the courteous staff, the ease of check-​in, the décor, the room, the cleanliness, the comfort of the beds, the quietness, the breakfast and the fitness area. The outdoor pool even had a lift for disabled guests to be used in the pool or the adjoining hot tub. A+ grade overall.

I was very disappointed in the lack of professionalism and disorganization I perceived while staying at the holiday inn express in arlington texas.
The night before I was to check out, I went to front desk, presented a credit card and dl and requested to extend my stay for several nights.
After several minutes of the front desk employee working on his computer, he returned my dl and credit card, and informed me it was taken care of.
I called the front the next day and confirmed with another employee that everything was taken care of.
I returned to the hotel later and I was locked out of the room with all my belongings inside.
I left the hotel.
I find this unprofessional and disorganized. I will not stay at another holiday inn.

Excellent hotel, would definitely return. Newly remodelled and modern décor. Great location near shops and unlimited restaurant choices. Accessible to the freeway. Great coffee, comfortable bed, nice staff, nice snack bar with vitamin water, etc. breakfast is decent, they have fresh fruit and Greek yogurt. Internet cuts out a little, but just a few minutes.

Very comfortable bedding and very clean and quiet. I recommend it travelers in the area!

I was pretty happy with this HIE location along 1 – 20. Convenient to tons of food & restaurants, and lots of shopping nearby. A great place to stop near the DFW area.

This review is based on a stay in early October 2010. Also note that the current main image is pre-​remodel, I uploaded a picture of the hotel’s new exterior looks.
If you are visiting the Arlington area and are looking for a Holiday Inn property, but don’t want to deal with the crowds of the stadiums or amusement parks and the associated traffic, this is a great alternate location.
Not only are the prices reasonable, but the hotel is situated near a mall, where there are plenty of shopping and good restaurant options in the vicinity. The drive to the stadiums or Six Flags is less than 15-​minutes and it is still less than a 30-​minute drive to DFW. With a recent remodel, the rooms are up to the latest HIE standard, which means rich, neutral colors, flat screen TV and the best bedding out there. Typical of HIE properties, WiFi is free, and so is breakfast.
I was also impressed with the very customer-​service oriented staff. Upon check-​in, I received a Priority Club welcome that included some candy, pretzels and water. They also keep a fridge in the lobby (next to the free coffee and cookies) stocked with soda and water, free for guests. It was nice to be able to grab a cold beverage on our way out for the day.
Noise from other rooms or the nearby freeway were not an issue and we had no problems getting a good night’s sleep every night. Housekeeping did a nice job of keeping the rooms clean and we were always comfortable during our stay.
If you are traveling to Arlington and are looking for an affordable hotel that still has amenities, I would highly recommend this HIE, especially if you are a Priority Club member.
