Horrible doesn’t even begin to describe my experience with Highland. I had made a call to their office only to be put on a voicemail that stated they would not answer back to voicemails made during the lunch hour, so I waited until after one to call. I left a voicemail and heard back from them and had to set up an appointment a month later. I was told my appointment time and asked twice because if it was made a month out I didn’t want to miss it. I was also told I would get a call from them a day before my appointment to confirm that I was still coming. I waited until the day before my appointment and never received a confirmation call. I was a bit worried but since I didn’t call to cancel I thought my appointment was still on. I drove over to the location a day before since I had read reviews that the location can be a bit tricky to find. I was able to find the place. When I came the day of my appointment I went in and showed up ten minutes before my appointment. I made sure and asked the receptionist if this was the right place and was told it was. I gave her my name and appointment time. I waited thirty minutes before being told that my appointment time was at a different time than I was told on the phone and that because I had missed it I would have to reschedule over the phone for another time. I won’t be coming back to this place. I don’t feel I was lied to but I feel like their office doesn’t have its affairs in order when they schedule people for appointments and fail to confirm them. Its incredibly upsetting that I was told one thing over the phone and waited a month only to be told something entirely different in person. I can’t speak of the Doctor since I didn’t even get to sit down with her but I won’t be coming back.

I love Pinky. We’ve been working together for 5 years now and she still hasn’t given up on me, despite lots of medications not affecting me and being able to see me when I need to. She’s really nice, patient and caring. Yes, her office manager isn’t great, but she gets things done. But I hate talking on the phone, so I email her. So I can’t really say how Martha is on returning calls and all of that. She’s had her downs but I think she’s on her way back up. I noticed her last named changed this year and she stopped wearing her ring. Of course I never told her I noticed. Divorce is a hard thing and there was a tiny period before that where she canceled or changed my appointment often, but now that I know what I know now, I understand. She’s a human too and has emotions. But like I said, she’s coming back on top. She’s the best doctor I’ve ever been to in the DFW area. I went to over 15 others before I found her(And she’s right around the corner from me.) She actually talks to you instead of the general«Okay. Tell me what’s wrong» and you’re out the door in 5 minutes. Not with Pinky. She listens to whatever I have to say and responds. She’s encouraging and keeps me going.
