I went back to get my highlights done again oh they look great I will post a picture if I can on here 70 bucks highlight lowlight haircut it was a partial highlight but lots of foils. :))))))

Continues to be my go-​to place. Patricia is very good. Jennifer, Maria & Charisse I hear are excellent as well and have been there for a long time. Cannot vouch for others.

I went there to get a haircut because I had a coupon and it was going to be a couple of months until I go and visit my cousin who normally cuts my hair. The staff was nice and friendly I had no appointment and was seated after 5 minutes. I got my hair cut and washed but my haircut turned out awful. :(I have thick wavy hair and I normally get it thinned out and layered. I asked the lady if she could thin out my hair and trim it keeping my layers but it turned out to be the bluntest cut ever! My hair comes to a V or U shape in the back because I put my hair in braids a lot but it was straight across and my layers do not blend or are choppy like I had asked. When I put my hair in a braid it looks like someone chopped part of it off!!! I can see clearly where each layer starts and my bangs are thick looking at the ends but not throughout?! I really regret coming here…

I’ve gone to Patricia for years. Very reasonable price, good consultation when I have a question, and she is the only stylist I have ever gone to who hasn’t cut my hair too short! If I say «shoulder length», it is shoulder length — not an inch above when dried.

For the past 6 years or so, I’ve always gone back to Jennifer to get my hair cut, even if I have to wait until I’m on break from school in California. She is sweet and sociable, and I like how she manages to thin out my excessively thick hair. Some of my friends have had their hair cut by other stylists here whom they’d also recommend.
Heflin’s has raised their prices a couple times since I started going, but at $ 16.95 for shampoo & cut, it’s still easy on the wallet.
