Glebe Road Park is tucked away in North Arlington off Old Glebe Road (duh). Its three tennis courts are lighted and in pretty good condition. There’s hardly ever a wait for a court, but you can still reserve one online via Arlington’s website. The basketball court is also lit. There’s another enclosed court for other acitvities — I’ve seen South American dance troupes practicing there on occasion during the summer. At the bottom of the hill are a couple swing sets. Some nature trails lead over to Fort Ethan Allen Park and the Gulf Branch Nature Center. The only thing keeping Glebe Road Park from a fifth Unilocal star would be a little more playground equipment — maybe a slide or a jungle gym or something.
