Ok, I really wanted five guys but didn’t want to go to the other terminal, so I tried Fuddruckers. I’d been to full blown versions before and never been impressed. For one thing, for the ridiculous price of over $ 10 for the most basic of burgers, why do I have to put the toppings on myself? In the average restaurant this is annoying, but in an airport when you’re balancing the burger, fries, drink, suitcase, and laptop bag it’s just ridiculous.

Gross. Why are all the restaurants in the DCA terminal so gross? I stopped by recently after a failed experience at Taylor Gourmet and decided just to order a side of fries, figuring it’d be the safest thing to eat before my flight. The server was both handling the cash register and serving the food without wearing gloves at all. I noticed he touched my fries immediately after handling cash. NOPE, did not eat those fries. I paid for them but they went straight into the trash once I left. A bit of advice — eat before you arrive at the DCA terminal. The restaurants are pretty gross. I MISSPOTBELLY!

I stumbled upon this burger place during a layover i had returning to NYC from Miami. The sign advertising the best burgers in the world so since i was traveling i decided to give them a try. I felt it was a big waste of money. My order cost close to twenty dollars. The burger was bland and not cooked the way i had requested(medium well). I order chilli cheese fries and they were DISGUSTING. The fries had some kind of cheap pasteurized cheese on it… really nasty and the chilli looked like a slob of cat or dog food. I ate the burger as not to waste ALLMY money. I will never order from this place again. I was so annoyed when i realized FIVEGUY burger place was on a lower level. The burgers taste much better and the price is much cheaper.

Great burger joint for an airport! The burger was cooked to perfection at medium rare. The bun was very soft and flavorful and even the potato wedges were a hit too! All in all I had a great experience and know where I wi be grabbing a quick bite before any flight.

This DCA terminal has lame food options compared to terminal C. Fuddruckers isn’t bad and my burger was fresh, hot, and not too greasy. They have the topping bar where you get your own stuff so that makes it pretty unlikely they’ll mess up your order. I saw a lot of airline and airport crew eating here so that has to be a good sign, right?

$ 7 to $ 10 actual burger, not a meat pancake like fast food. Would have preferred medium cooked like I ordered instead of well done. Beer is available in bottles for $ 4 but it’s just in an open refrigerated case and barely less than room temp. Took about 10 minutes to get order after place it. They give you a buzzer so you can wander off and still be notified when its ready. Not sure that’s really a feature at the airport. Community tables are nearby. Toppings area is tight and really only can be used by one person at a time. Made even more difficult when customers are trying to negotiate through it pulling multiple«carry on» bags. Crisp fresh lettuce leaves, restaurant quality tomatoes. Stack high then add generously ketchup and mayo onto the large soft bun and you get a two handed drippy delicious mess of crispy gooey awesomeness. Grab extra napkins. Not bad, if you have the time to order, wait, prepare, enjoy, and clean yourself up. Not great either.

Probably more for Corporate than local but seriously, if you only offer Ostrich from June to September, just put up a special sign about it and take it off of your permanent menus! I was very disappointed but when the manager told me Buffalo was on the menu, did I expect the owner to re do all of the menus and it does say seasonal… I just left. What Season is it in and how am I to know what the hell season they are referring to! Grrrr…

Ordered the chicken salad with crispy chicken to carry on the plane. It was the best airport salad I have ever had. It looked and tasted delicious. Even the flight attendant said it looked really good when I pulled it out of the bag. I will definitely get it again when passing through.

Its taken me 24 years to try this place ever since I heard about«making your own burger» tho its not really about making your own burger as it is «adding your own toppings». Basically you order a base design for your burger and that has various themes, ex. Southwest Burger, which is what I got. That comes with a burger I asked to be cooked medium rare(it came medium) and a cheese I forgot, and a special sauce. You then go over to the toppings area and you can add jalapenos, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, white onions. The burger is semi greasy but decent taste. I suppose it was just overpriced because it was at an airport but nonetheless an acceptable meal. I think they should add more specialty toppings and maybe like different sauces too because after all this is how they are trying to distinguish themselves.

Great egg & cheese breakfast sandwich! The English muffin was actually toasted and the egg was real! Not to mention it’s made when you order. Very unlike most airport breakfast joints.

The WORST service ever, this location ruins Fudruckers reputation. The cashier Farhad was very rude, I asked for a receipt for my food and he went off the handle and kept going on and on saying«you can take the food like it is or you can not eat here». If that wasn’t enough he was rounding our meal pricing? Mine was $ 12.99 so he said give him $ 14. I guess they figure we don’t have a choice & they won’t see us again since we are flying out. Corporate offices will hear from me for sure.

Decent Fuddruckers. I was very glad I see this here in the airport. Tasted good. No complaints. Ribeye sandwich is always what I order at Fudds.

Being delayed for 6 hours in DCA and I got hungry! I had their turkey burger on a wheat roll. It was very good and having a full condiment bar was optimum. Their salads looked good as well. Fast food at it’s best!

For being in airport, this was pretty sold. It could be because I was starving and their honey mustard helped satisfy my hunger. Fries were undercooked but I was full after the tenders anyway because it was 9am lol. I would go again if in this airport because it was quick.

High quality for an airport, which isn’t saying much but at least you know you are getting fresh food during your layover. Pricing is okay, just slightly above the chain’s normal prices. They will cook anything to order at this location but be prepared to wait if you do so.

Get the hot peppers on the Italian sandwich! Thank goodness for Fudduckers at this airport — one of the few places you could get a decent bite to eat. The staff were great, the speed of service was good and the flavor of my Italian sandwich was killer good! I’d surely stop back at this place anytime I found myself at this airport and hungry!

I was tempted by the buffalo burger just because I wanted something different. It was a massive ½-pound burger on a whole-wheat bun. I also ordered sweet potato fries, which were incredibly bland and underseasoned. The burger was a bit dry and unremarkable. I know buffalo is a very lean cut, so maybe it needed some diced onion or something mixed in to help retain moisture? I mean, it was airport food, so I suppose the bar is pretty low already. It wasn’t great, but it was also better than McDonald’s.

Good place to stop for breakfast if you are National. I had the sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich and a side of hash browns and it was OK. Pricey like all airport food, but OK. I could have done better, but I could have done much worse. I was happy overall.
