The gift of truth
I met Eve for the first time about a month ago. I had never had a tarot reading and I was quite scared, to be honest with you. I was going through a very challenging time of my professional life. I went to Eve to gain a deeper understanding of what the incredibly uncomfortable work experience I was going through meant. Was I supposed to endure the situation, or was the universe «helping» me reassess my position and my career direction? Her reading revealed the latter. I was in a place where I didn’t belong, doing something that is not fulfilling my purpose. It was hard to hear. I have invested so much energy and time and all for only finding out this is not my path. I can’t say though that this message was totally unexpected… I have always had this pulsing thought in the back of my mind that my current profession was not really for me and that one day I would have to get out of it and search for my real call, if you will. Eve gave me a practical exercise to follow every day, like saying out loud that I am ready to release the past and I am excited for what the future has in store for me. This exercise is absolutely hard, especially when you don’t fully believe what you are saying and are still bitter about your current situation… but I am doing it and I must say that more ideas are flowing my way as I keep discovering or re-​discovering myself, my passions and my strengths. I don’t know if it’s society or just ourselves, or our preconceived idea of what we are supposed to be when we grow up that pushes us professionally in territories that are not congenial to us but I can tell you that in our heart, in a remote part of ourselves we will always know if something is or is not for us. We should listen and be true to it! Coming to terms with this authenticity put me in great panic (and I still am) but I am coming to accept myself, slowly and steadily. Without Eve I think this realization could have taken me much longer or maybe I would have never listened to my «inner child», as she mentions it. For how tough the reading was, I am exceptionally thankful to Eve for having uncovered the truth behind my hard times. I will be back for a follow-​up for sure! She is the real thing. You’ll know when you meet her.

I have very little experience with Taro or psychics. Recently, I have been struggling to make a major life decision. I asked Eve to do a reading for me last week and thought it was a great experience. The cards she drew on my behalf (reading was done over the phone) gave a pictorial story to my internal dilemma. Somehow, seeing my internal debate illustrated with the symbolism of the Tarot has grounded me. It has brought the corners of my subconscious into greater focus and granted me greater acceptance of my situation. It has also given me more confidence to trust my instincts in making my big decision. I have no idea how this works, but it was helpful for me.

When I saw all of the great reviews on Unilocal and then the fact that Eve had international clients, I thought «Heck, Why not? It’s a new year coming up and I need a new perspective. Let’s give it a whirl!». She is the REAL DEAL. Eve has a love for her craft — which is people. She phrases things in such a way to enlighten you and to also show that she «gets you». It’s like she’s listening to your soul. Being a Pisces, I have a very hard time making decisions when I get to a crossroads. Eve shines the light onto the right direction. Can’t wait for my followup next year!

I was so grateful for the time with Eve — for the chance to not only really clarify what the question was in my mind, as some things had been popping in and out of my thoughts yet not been focused on, but also to get some clarity around it. I have never had a Tarot reading in my life and wasn’t sure exactly what was involved. But… I am a big fan now!
