El Pollo Chingon

Good Clean restaurant with nice staff and good food.

paid 13.50 for half of chicken with two included sides and fountain drink, chicken was cold, extremely dry and had no taste at all, their white mild sauce was straight up mayo.
Sorry but not coming back.

This restaurant has a very interesting name, I was told that chingon can be offensive if it was used the wrong way. Oh well, in this case it the word chingon is supposed to mean really good. It’s my first time here and I had the carne asda (beef steak) and that was tasty. It came with a side of rice and salad (lettuce, tomatoes and onion). It was decent size steak.
The steak had plenty of flavor even though it was cooked well done. I know it’s not a steak house and it’s a fast join, so well done was okay. They did pull it off well and taste good. The meat was not chewy.
The place was clean and the food came out fast. The only thing that I noticed was the cashier was taking a long time to take the food orders and the line was getting pretty long by the time dinner rush started. There’s plenty of different variety on the menu, they have your typical charcoal chicken that smelled really good. You can smell it as you order your dinner at the cashier.
I would definitely come back and try it out on the next time. Menu items are well priced. The only thing that threw me off was when I asked for a cup for water and was told that they don’t have cups for water and I’ll have to get bottle water instead. The cashier was standing next to a pile of styrofoam cups. LOL
Overall positive experience and will be back to try out other food items.
