I got quotes from a couple local companies for asbestos insulation removal in my basement, and Sam at Dudley Services offered the lowest price and seemed to be the most knowledgeable about this type of work.
Dudley Services took care of all the permits we needed, showed up on time, and performed all the prep, removal, and clean up in under 2 days. They even painted the pipes that they removed the insulation from, which was not included in our agreement and I thought I would have had to do myself. I highly recommend Dudley Services to anybody who needs hazardous materials removed from their home or business.

We had some issues with old asbestos tiles and decided to have them removed. Sam came to the house, inspected the area, gave us recommendations. I found him to be professional, knowledgeable and responsive to our questions. I tried to get other quotes but found other companies to be unhelpful when they found out it was a small residential job. Sam scheduled the work while tenant was away, we were very comfortable giving Sam and his team access to the house.

Do not use Dudley Services. They were completely unprofessional, non-​responsive and unaccommodating. I’d like to comment on the quality of the work they did, but I wasn’t even able to get an itemized quote for a simple job.
Sam Nigro came and looked at the prospective job, but when I attempted to follow up with him, several attempts to contact him about securing a finalized quote went unanswered, so I eventually moved on.
It’s unfortunate Sam wasn’t interested in my business as I had heard many great things about their level of professionalism and quality of work, but I simply didn’t experience it.

If you need to have asbestos removed or wrapped, this is the company to go with. Sam, «Butch Nigro» the owner is a class act !!! The prices are very fair and reasonable and the two guys who came to do the work were highly professional and left the work site even cleaner that it was when they came. The truly amazing thing is that when I went to pay my bill for $ 550 which was a very fair price, Butch said «please don’t pay my company just donate that amount to the American Red Cross and in particular to the Japan Fund.» What an amazingly generous business owner !!! He said that some of his employees who live in Chelsea/​Revere/​Everett had lost their housing in a fire and that he was very impressed on how the Red Cross had helped out so much and he wanted to give back. He is an incredible business owner.
