My favorite hair place in DC!!! The best salon ever! I have been going for 6 months now and it’s never a disappointment. Truly great, talented stylists!

I booked an appointment online and they called to confirm. I went in and everyone was friendly and polite. I got a shampoo, cut, and style for $ 45 since I was a first timer! That is a steal for the quality of service I recieved. I got exactly what I asked for and left extremely satisfied. I also appreciated that the stylist complimented my hair being very healthy but did not push products on me. I’ve had so many other salons push products on me regardless on if I really needed them or not. Overall, I’m a happy customer!

First visit to Cosset and it’s an obvious 5 stars for them! I was walking by Crystal City shops and a poster with a $ 15 haircut special called my attention. I looked up the salon and made a walk in. The workers are accommodating and super friendly; all the stylists were busy, but they took me after a short wait. I received an undercut like the one I saw on the poster and it is so, so well done! It looks amazing! If you are looking for a professional perfectly executed male haircut make sure you book with Marilyn! I will be coming back.

Found this gem while working in Crystal City. I had been trying to grow out a bad color job from another salon in D.C. but it got to the point that my hair was a brassy mess. I made a same-​day online appointment at Cosset’s and was not disappointed! They were able to color correct the previous job and I walked out with exactly what I wanted. The prices are also unbeatable. I wish I would have found them sooner! I would have saved myself so much money and stress!

I had read a recent positive Unilocal review of Cosset Hair Studio and Spa, and being that I was in desperate need of a haircut, I decided to go ahead and book an appointment. I was able to book online which I found to be super convenient-​major plus! They confirm your appointment after you request it by sending an email confirmation. I was booked with Sulay Marilyn at 4:00pm on a Saturday. I was a little hesitant to book a salon in the shops at Crystal City due to the parking situation. Lo and behold, however, parking in the garage was free! I didn’t know that going in there, but on the way out the gate was up to allow all cars to go on through. The salon is near the main lobby entrance and is well marked. When I walked in, every stylist was attending to someone already, however, I was quickly greeted by name by the receptionist at the check-​in desk. I was early by about 15 minutes, so I wasn’t expecting to be attended to before my appointment time, however, within 5 minutes of my arrival, a gentleman took me back to be shampooed. After he finished, my stylist greeted me in the chair and we talked about what I wanted to have done. She did a great job on my cut, just thinning it out and touching up my layers! I am rarely happy with my haircut the day after, and I can honestly say I was pleased this time! Normally, the charge is $ 55, however, since I was a first time customer, I was charged $ 45. Pricing here is excellent, in my opinion, for the area. The convenience of being able to book online is another draw. I will return the next time I need a haircut and see if I am as pleased as I was the first time.

I’m normally not a Unilocal reviewer, however, I felt I had to share my wonderful experience at Cosset Hair Studio and Spa! I am new to the Pentagon City/​Crystal City area and desperately needed my eyebrows done. I was wandering around the Crystal City Shops, saw Cosset studio, and thought I would ask if they offer walk-​in eyebrow waxing/​thredding services. They immediately directed me to Mila, who thredded my eyebrows perfectly! Because she did such a fantastic job on my eye brows, I thought I would also ask about having a cut/​color as well. Mila was available to cut my hair and did a wonderful job! I was absolutely thrilled with the cut and the way she styled my hair! Regarding color, because I wanted a drastic change (ash blonde balayage), I came back to Mila the next morning so she could do the full color. We went through pictures and color samples and she made helpful suggestions about the color combination I wanted. After we picked a color and all was finished, she really captured exactly what I wanted! The color couldn’t be more perfect! Apart from Mila’s incredible work, the price was very reasonable and the salon staff were very friendly and professional. I am so happy to have found this gem and will be returning to Mila next time I need any salon-​type services!

I bought a groupon for $ 220 for a keratin hair treatment at Cosset and called to redeem it a few days later. I was told they don’t have any deals despite me saying I was looking at Groupon and seeing it still available, not to mention the Groupon didn’t expire until January 2016. I confirmed the name and address and used the phone number on the Groupon to call the place. The lady played dumb about the offer and did nothing to remedy the situation. Completely disappointed in this salon and their lack of customer service.

A friend recommended Marilyn and the experience was absolutely fantastic. Great cut and shampoo. Super friendly, experienced, and top notch service. I was very happy and totally recommend this salon and Marilyn.

Small salon with very personal service. The staff have a ton of experience and extremely professional. Appt on time and lasted as long as expected. Color and style reasonably priced. Going back to get style and makeup done for event this weekend. Schedule flexible and Always willing to accommodate! Will def recommend to others. Parking free on weekends/​evenings. Salon reimburses during weekday hours.
