Continental Valet

I went in there a couple of months ago to pick up my clothes and she couldn’t find my stuff. So I came back and had her go through the rounders to try to find my stuff. I work for a designer so it’s expensive stuff! I was so perplexed. Needless to say I didn’t go back. This morning my husband who for some reason still uses them out of convenience walked in and I came in with him she’s wearing my cashmere sweater!!! I almost fell over. Then she’s trying to deny it. So I called the police and all of a sudded my entire order and sweater reappears. She is a scumbag who should be put out of business

Awful experience and ridiculous prices. Owner is very rude and very slow. Don’t waste your time and money.

Within the past year this place changed ownership and service has gone from decent to just plain bad. The new owner is rude to every single person. While we used to get a discount for being in the building, the new owner no longer gives the discount. I can live with that but it would be nice to know that beforehand and would be fine if her prices were not so outrageous. Plus, you have to wait a few days before you get your clothes back. It’s not like her dry cleaning is better than other places or that you are getting them back fast so it really makes no sense why she charges so much. In fact, it doesn’t even feel like the clothes get cleaned. Most dry cleaners will put sticky colored tape where you have stains so the place that actually does the dry cleaning will make sure to remove the stain. However, this lady would not do so. When I asked her to put them on, she said no pretty rude. Another tenant in our building asked for the prices and the lady would not provide them to her. Other tenants have stated alteration prices have doubled.
You are better off using someone else in the neighborhood.
