So, we don’t eat a ton of fried food, but we really do enjoy some Chicken E. occasionally. This is the one we frequent the most and I have to say that we usually get decent food. The drive thru was packed the other night so I ran inside to the empty restaurant. I had a super friendly lady waiting on me who was not only polite, but helpful as well. We have a large family and drop about $ 40 when we’re there. We usually order tenders, corn nuggets, fried okra and fried pickles. All of it was good and hot. While I didn’t eat inside, it seemed clean and the staff seemed to be working steadily so no complaints here.

Went there this evening and was completely. Disappointed. The tenders were BLAH!!. They were mainly fried breading and very little chicken. The mashed potatoes. Were very watery almost transparent it looked like just water with pepper in it. The girl working the drive through completely messed up our order not sure if it was her fault or her lack of training by management. My wife called and spoke with DREW the so called«manager» on duty and he said he would replace our order. Upon driving all the way back from Mansfield he said why did we take 30 min to return… Really I didn’t know I was on his time clock. He completely. Passed judgment. On us like if we were trying to get a free $ 6 meal. he did not replace the meal like he said he would. I wasted more on gas than his funky $ 6 meal. I will definitely. Be contacting his GM. overall I give this a 1star because they don’t have a –5 star I do not recommend this place!!!

Went there this evening the drive thru lady took are whole order incorrectly then we have to wait to get to the window when it is was our turn it was like we are a bother to her we order a buffalo sauce she gives us chipotle ranch we ordered two number twos she gives us a two number ones the mashed potatoes were so watery it almost seem like we got gravy chicken was so hard and over cooked I called up there and spoke with Drew the manager he stated he would replace our order when we get up there he started saying it is the same batch of mash potatoes he refused to replace the order. I have never had a manager not replace a order. What happen to customer is always right. The only reason I give this store a one star was cause I had to. You suck drew. Awful manager. I would not recommend this place to any one better off driving 5 more minutes to canes.

I’m not sure what it is about this location, but it seems like no one taught the employees the importance of customer service or common courtesy, even. On multiple occasions, the employees here behave as if I’m annoying them by pulling in their driveway and wanting their tasty chicken. I recently walked in for a simple, 4-piece tender order and the young man behind the register spoke with what could be classified as a murmur at best. I was standing less than two feet from him and any semblance of a word that I actually caught, I couldn’t understand. In a reasonably simple, one meal order, I had to ask him to repeat himself at least 4 times. But hey I get it, some people may not be too comfortable speaking to strangers and that may very well be his first job. But my problem lies in the attitude of his response. He became really rude after the first time I said«I’m sorry could you say that again?» and leaned in. After the second time, I figured he would get louder or clearer, to smooth out this whole encounter but he only grew more angry and rude. The frustrating thing about it is, they have good food… If they didn’t, I’d swear off the whole franchise, but thankfully, its only this location and their service. The funny thing about customers is if you treat them properly, they won’t go anywhere. You have a great image, product, and location, but I’m afraid if you don’t get this customer service issue handled, tumbleweeds may soon cross your doorway. Nigel out. *drops mic*

AVOIDTHISLOCATION… Chicken Express is known for excellent fast food, along with southern hospitality and great atmosphere. This location has none of the above. Every one of the staff is either bothered by your existence as a customer. or too busy laughing and mocking you to do their jobs. Each time I’ve reluctantly returned, I have immediately regretted my decision. Recently while going through the drive through, a very nice young lady answered the window only to be replaced instantly by a very disgruntled, rude young man who took my debit card without any greeting or confirmation of the price. When he returned with my food and card, I replied with«Thank you» only to have the window very abruptly slammed without any courtesy. I’m unsure why the staff feel the need to berate and treat their customers this way, but its clear that something drastic needs a change. We all have difficuties in our jobs, but its important that the customer experience is not poor.
