Well, I have lived in the Arlington area since I was a little girl, and I can honestly say this Braums location has deteriorated badly. It used to be an enjoyable place to go as a child, but now it is unkempt, dirty, lacks in customer service, and food is almost always incorrect each time I have ordered. The wait in the drive-thru is slower than molasses, and having called the manager I was placed on hold for 5 minutes. I won’t mind driving to a different ice cream location from now on or paying more. I mean there is a Marble Slab around the corner.

Braums is amazing. My wife eats single dip hot fudge sundaes like there’s no tomorrow

I came here because I didn’t feel like cooking dinner. Well big mistake I should’ve just went to the grocery store and made something anyway. I stopped by the drive thru, and it went fast, that was not an issue at all like at some places. And I thought to myself, oh wow this was quick. Well when I got home less than 5 minutes later our sandwiches were a complete disaster. I ordered my boyfriend the Mushroom & Swiss burger, it was completely beyond greasy and messy and he had to take off all of the toppings due to that too, so it ended up being a regular cheeseburger at the end of all that, disappointing. And I ordered the Chicken Crispy Club or something like that. It was not very tasty, it had too much mayo on it and just tasted weird. It was not a good experience and even though it’s convenient in the area, I doubt I’ll be back.

This store is always busy so I guess they are doing something right. Food and shakes are awesome. The kids who work there are usually very nice and they look to be working really hard. It’s my place to go at least 3 times a week

I hate giving one stars but this place earned it. We walked in to order ice cream my friend has serious vision problems so he was unable to see the menu so I asked the cashier do you have a paper menu. It was some thing that I asked her in private because I did not want to embrass my friend. She yelled out we don’t have a menu we only have what is on the menu board. I was shocked and I just walked away from the counter and sat down. He stood there and ordered and since he could not see he just ordered something he knew. Shame on braum’s for not having a paper menu for the visually impaired. Even more of a shame on management, for employing someone who is disrespectful to your customers. He didn’t even eat the burger fully and we left.

After reading everyone’s else’s reviews, I thought I would step in and defend this place. I have been to this particular Braums often over the last several years. Drive through and eating in and just picking up ice cream from the inside only to take it home and eat it at home. I have seen both scenarios, spic and span clean and smudges on the windows. Ask any employee there and they will tell you that there are rushes of customers, then lulls I have personally witnessed both. So for those of you that have seen it dirty or have encountered rude employees it most likely was after a rush. I’ve seen the drive through lane wrap around almost to the front door of the restaurant. During the holidays, they are crazy busy. I don’t usually go there then, I’ll let the visiting college kids reminisce. Their burgers are almost as good as Whataburgers. In my opinion a close second. Their prices are reasonable. There are many employees working there at any given time, my usual wait isn’t that long. The crinkle cut fries are excellent.

went there this morning to get breakfast through the drive-thru. Ordered biscuits and gravy and got home and it was the worst I have ever had there. The gravy tasted similar to giblet gravy for turkey and was not that good. Braums is normally better than that.

had lunch with my sister here. she apparently got sick sometime later on. wasn’t too sure if it was due to the burger here. I had the same meal and was just fine, but on the other hand. due to Unilocal,i’ve been eating everything so no surprise my stomach can handle it. i will give this place two stars for 1 menu item and 1 menu item only… THEIRFRENCHFRIES. i’m not sure why but i am hooked on the fries at every Braums and i’m not sure why but they never disappoint in that aspect… In-N-Out should really learn from these guys…

First off is there people need a lot more training! They dont care if they didn’t make your hamburger right or not! They didnt even fix it until I spoke with the manager!

Braum’s is quite possibly the only place in the world where getting ice cream is an unpleasant experience. I’ve been going to this location every few years for most of my life, and every single time, I vow to myself that I will never, ever go back no matter how convenient the location is and how badly I want ice cream. Throughout the years this place has always been disgustingly dirty — to the point that you can’t even read the ice cream flavors in the case because there are so many smears and globs and god-knows-what coating the glass and counters — and the service is incredibly slow and incompetent. Seriously, how do you take 12 minutes to make a milkshake and STILL get it wrong? Ice cream, shakes, floats, etc are the only things I’ve ever bothered to get here. The level of dirtiness and mess and incompetency has always scared me away from getting food that might require serious prep. Avoid!

Service — varies from 1 Star to 3 Stars Food — 3 Stars Ice Cream — 4 Stars Think of Blue Bell ice cream as the summit of ice cream.(Nice image, a mountain of Blue Bell Ice cream). If so, then Braums ice cream is about a base camp from the top. Close, but not there yet. Cherries Pecans and Cream is my favorite flavor. Basically Cherry Vanilla with pecans thrown therein. Hoo-rah! I don’t know how many hours of research went into deciding exactly the right amount of cherries and pecans with which to populate the creamy(as in large amounts of butter fat) vanilla ice cream. BUTTHEYGOTITEXACTLYRIGHT! How many things can you say that about? I’m waiting for examples. If you’ve got any, be sure to write, OK? They also make a decent burger and fries to round out a nice lunch. It’s not a great burger, but it meets all the actual requirements, cheese melted into the patty, etc. One difference is that their meal deals have the option of a small shake instead of a drink with the burger and fries. Probably only adds about 1,000 calories to the lunch total, so nothing to worry about. This store is of the older variety, but they keep it nice and clean. They also have the little grocery area stocked with all of life’s little essentials, like milk, bread, premaid meals, meats, fruits, salad stuff, etc. Just like a mini-Market. Better than a 7 – 11 and quick from the market to the curb, unlike the Krogers up the road, so I often stop here if all I need is bread and a few items. They keep the produce fresh, so no complaints from me, and its priced as cheaply as Krogers or Albertsons. So, a combination grocery store, Ice cream parlor, and restaurant. Every neighborhood needs one. Just one of life’s little essentials.
