Was not disappointed with any of the food. The service was a little slow or inconsistent, but the good food took my mind of it. Tried their wings out — someone used to work at Wingstop?! They tasted real crispy and tender, just the right size. The house special sauce wings were especially good. They were like a Cajun garlic salty subtly sweet sauce. I chose garlic for my crawfish, but I wish I had it with their house special sauce, which combined all their seafood sauce flavors. The catfish was real crispy and tender, not dry. Sure, they seem to be emulating Boiling crab, but damn glad it’s heck of a lot closer to home. And there wasn’t a line at all, for a Sunday night.

Came back to give it another shot. A lot better this time! They were juicy, but again the«hawt» was mild/medium in my opinion. They are very open to sending it back to add more of their spicy sauce in, which really helped! Their hottest wasn’t «make my nose run» spicy like everywhere else, but better than before.

Two stars because my waiter was good. I’m looking for an alternative to my normal spot because I think I go there a little too much. I got 2 lbs. of crawfish, first thing they are small(may because the season is still new), I ordered my bugs traditional with mild spices… well… I don’t know what they use to season the water with buy they were very bland hardly had any flavor. The corn and potatoes in the bag tasted the same… bland! The only flavor came toward the end when the sauce in the bag covered the outside of the mud bugs a little more, but the head and the had NOFLAVOR! I had to go back to my regular spot just to satisfy that craving. P. S. I went to wash my hands when I finished, and one of the employees came in to use the restroom. When he finished he walked out without washing his hands, and went straight into the kitchen!

Yay! So glad I found this place! Was craving BC Sunday but didn’t want to drive out to dallas so i went on Unilocal to search for boiled shrimp in my area and this place came up as hot and new! Placed an order for pick up! 1lb of shrimp half of sausage and red potatoes in the special house sauce compared to the(whole shabang) with HAWT spiciness. It’s was soo good and very much like BC. The HAWT was a little too hot for me though so next time I will order the special house sauce with medium. I’m so glad I didn’t have to wait the ridiculous 1 hour wait like at BC. This place is huge! Will definetly be going again this weekend for sure

Amazing taste! We walked in Christmas Day not sure what to expect. We got king crab legs and a pound of shrimp with the house special sauce. It comes with 2 potatoes, 2 half ears of corn and I think a beer. We passed on the beer so not sure about that. Oh and it also comes with bibs and gloves which you will totally need! So your food arrives in a bag with all of it swimming in the delicious, drinkable, buttery sauce. The sauce is very flavorful. It’s all so protein and butter rich that it makes for a super filling meal. My husband and I weren’t able to finish all of it and ended up taking most of it home. Very delicious and would recommend it highly.

Second time here was definitely a lot better. The service was better and the food tasted better. From my first review I said that they put everything in 1lb bags, well they have changed it already from that. We ordered 4lbs of crawfish and it just came in 1 bag. We asked for the house special sauce on the side and this time it came in plastic cups instead of paper cups(the paper cups started deteriorating, the plastic is a better choice). As a table of 7, we ordered about 12lbs of crawfish, 7lbs of shrimp, 4lbs of crab legs, half a dozen of oysters, 2 shrimp po boys, and an order of Cajun fries and drinks. The crawfish was definitely better, still had tiny ones(expected since it’s not in season), but there were a lot more good ones to eat. The last time I was here ¼ of my bag felt inedible(tasted nasty, really small and squished and over cooked). The crab was cooked better, the shrimp was tastier and the oysters were nice and sweet. The fries could still use some more salt but they tasted better and were really crispy. The shrimp po boys came with Cajun fries and a gumbo. The shrimp on the po boy was extremely over cooked, but it was not a bad sandwich over all, the bread reminded me of a bahn mi bread, the Cajun fries were good, and the gumbo was interesting. It was really spicy and the rice was premixed in. I swear the gumbo tastes like it has a phở broth base and then some creole seasoning added to it, I personally liked it. I raised my rating from 3 stars to 4 because overall everything was better. They are definitely starting to work out the kinks. I can’t wait until crawfish season!

I’ll be the first to write a review of this place. As with any new restaurants, I came in with low expectations. You can’t give half stars or I would give it a 2.5 but their service was good so I rounded up. The wait staff was attentive and made sure we were taken care of. Kudos to them. When you first walk in, you notice a BIGASS boat in the middle of the restaurant. And gathered around this boat was an older crowd of patrons. Reminded me of ‘fresh off boat.’(pun intended!!). You will understand what I mean if you eat here. The décor reminded you of the Boiling Crab in Richardson. You can even write messages on their walls. We ordered crawfish(mild, special seasoning), shrimp with head(mild, special seasoning), catfish basket and lemon pepper wings. Their crawfish was cooked well and was flavored through out. To me, it was a combo of traditional Lousiana style, where the seasoning and salt is soaked in, and your trendy butter garlic seasoning. Would I come back for their crawfish. Yes. Is it my favorite. No. Their mild was pretty spicy. My lips and tongue were burning after eating just a few. Shrimp was good. Good size and same seasoning as crawfish. You can’t really mess up shrimp. Their catfish basket was overpriced and lacking. There were like 4 small, thin pieces of half size catfish over a huge bed of fries. Their batter was crispy but it was bland. There was no seasoning. I would not order their catfish again for that price. Go across the street to Bayou Cat instead. Their wings were not flavorful. I couldn’t taste the lemon pepper. I tasted more of the oil that it was tossed with. At least it was crispy. Overall, it wasn’t too bad. There is a lot of room for improvement. Granted it is their grand opening and they may just be getting into the swing of things. I will be back to give them another chance.

Came on grand opening day around 8. It was pretty busy the staff was very friendly. Always checking on refills and whatever else we need. Customer service is priority here. Our king crabs was mistakenly delivered to a different table so they comp us for it. The corn was cold so that was also comp. The manager(Jermey) was extremely nice and apologized for it. The food over all was ok. Im guessing its not crawfish season yet the crawfish was very soft and breaks apart when you open them. Flavor was not set in. We had the garlic n butter wings it was crunchy but bland. The house special wings were also soggy and not as flavorful as i expected. I noticed alot of food were brought out to wrong tables because the tables were not numbered. Waiters were a bit confuse where the food suppose to go. It is grand opening day… I will definitely come back to give it another try.
