Avalanche Tech Solutions, Fitness Equipment Repair and Service

Used Avalanche to attempt at fixing our elliptical. They were good about accepting the Unilocal deal, working with us to order the parts separately to avoid additional service calls, and making an adjustment in the end. That said, in spite of two visits, they were unable to fix the machine.

Nothing feels better than finding what you need when you need it!
When the belt from my BowFlex treadmill started to slip, I thought that soon it’s going to be worn out, so I called 2 different repair companies. The service technicians from both companies assured me that I needed to order a lot of new parts in order to make the treadmill work properly again, and one of the techs told me that it will cost me around $ 500 to fix the problems (now I really doubt that they were real professionals!). But a friend of mine recommended that I call Avalanche Tech Solutions because he previously had service done from this company and was very happy about the work they did and the service he received. And I am so happy that I did it!
The guy from this company (Giovanni if I spelled his name correct?) came to my place in no time and fixed it in 15 minutes without any new parts! We had a great talk and he gave me some tips about my treadmill and if something will go wrong again, I could just fix it by myself! He looked very professional to me and I could tell that he knew what he was doing.
Overall, Giovanni helped me a lot and saved me money. I believe that he really takes care of his clients!!!

I had a very good experience with the owner of Avalanche after my treadmill broke down. I hired someone recommended by the manufacturer to repair it but they improperly installed the drivebelt so the walking belt continued to slip. When the owner of Avalanche came out, he was able to properly adjust the drive and walking belts so the treadmill works great with no slipping of the belts. He was on time and courteous at all times. Now I can run in cool comfort when it’s 95 outside.

Very Unsatisfied customer — Tech arrived 30 minutes late. Asks me for a blow dryer which he uses to attempt to fix my console. Treadmill needs new console which costs $ 462. Tells me that I still owe him $ 125 for driving to my home. What a raquette!

Terrible customer service. They’re really sweet on the phone but zero follow through. The technician was pretty much a hot mess. I gave up after contending with him so maybe a different person would have been a different experience.
