We had a great time playing with the paintball guns and getting scared in the woods. I’m glad we knew what to expect beforehand though. It was slightly rainy and my husband and I were the only ones on our trip which was nice. The only shooting is from mounted guns on the bus, and it’s over when everyone is out of ammo. Two shots to the head takes down a zombie, we didn’t get any down but for inexperienced shooters like us we had fun. The bus drives further along and drops you off at a trail roped off and marked with glow sticks. It was a while before we saw any zombies, but it added to the suspense and there were several waiting for us. Even though they can’t touch you, just seeing and hearing them come at you in a dark forest is freaky and I thought it was really fun.

One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had… My friend found a deal on groupon and I thought it’d be interesting(based on my experience at Harvest of Terror @ Maris Farm). I can’t begin to explain how horrible it was… Such a waste of time. Waited 2.5HOURS for ~5 minutes of zombie paintball(+5 minutes of intro and driving). The walk through the paintball courses was really dark and the path was hard to follow(look for the hanging glow in the dark balloons). Here’s how I imagined what would happen: I thought I’d see some nice Halloween decorations with a few zombies to shoot at on the bus. Then I’d run out with my paintball gun to shoot through the woods.(Apparently, I didn’t read the website carefully because the walk through the woods is just a walk with a few people out there trying to scare you without the paintball gun) Here’s what happened and why I thought the zombie paintball was a waste of time and horrible: 1) Got inside the decorated bus with paintball guns attached to it as we went to the«zombie» infected zone(Barely any Halloween decorations) 2) Saw 3ZOMBIES(2 hiding behind some bushes and 1 Frankenstein looking one out in the open) that we shot at. We could barely tell where our shots were going even though they had giant floodlights attached to the bus.(maybe it’s just us, but it seemed stupid) 3) And… that was it… Then we got out of the bus to explore the woods. A few people(like 3 people) tried to scare us and that’s all. Don’t come here unless you thought my experience was«fun»…

We bought the groupon and made reservations, which you seem to only be able to do via email. We got there and there was a huge line, but we asked the girl at the front if we had to wait and she said no, go on ahead. We walked a bit through the woods and got to another much shorter line. Someone came around to take our groupon and advised us we needed to pay sales tax.(I have never had to do that with a groupon). Then he told us he was unable to make any change, and would we like to buy any extra paint balls? Which of course you have to pay extra for because he can’t make change… The bus ride was fun, it needed to last much longer. The walk through the woods is also fun. This has much potential to be very exciting but it’s not nearly long enough and it’s rather unorganized. Oh, and the smattering of white trash bags with shirts on them are pretty cheesy. I think they could step up the decorations just a bit.

Going to give this 4 stars because it was my first time paintballing and I was protected during the entire paintballing session. There is zero wifi when you enter the drive in to the parking lot so pull up your groupon or screen shot the barcode. The spookiest part would have to be the long walk through the woods when you finish paintballing… Also please do not bring weapons or harmful tools — some guys in our group was holding a stick and the zombies in the woods didn’t come out and the manager in charge had to walk into the woods and tell them to drop the sticks. TIP: Fun fall experience! bring cash for extra paintballs — shoes you want to run/get dirty in, raingear and headlamps! :)

So disappointed. My best friend and I saw this on Groupon and immediately bought the Groupon and took the time to schedule a reservation for a specific time and day. When we got out there we were greeted by a massive line and the employees insisted that everyone had made a reservation and therefore our reservation did nothing and we had to stand at the back of the line. After waiting for 2.5 hours in the cold and the dark, with no restrooms, food, or water, we decided to just sneak a peek and see how much longer it would be. Since the line was still going to be another hour we decided to leave. When we were leaving we talked to an employee about getting refunded for the extra paintballs we purchased and we were told that he couldn’t do it and we had to call someone else later to get a refund. I highly doubt that will ever happen. Not only that, but the employee told us that the line was so long because people showed up early for their reservations and so then they couldn’t follow reservations. My friend and I were both shocked. Reservations are a pretty simple concept that restaurants and most other services seem to manage just fine so the fact that they could not was saddening and extremely frustrating after waiting so long. If you are going to allow reservations then you need to actually follow them and stagger the times, if not, don’t make them. So sad and disappointed that we waited two and a half hours for nothing.
