I’ve been getting glasses from this place for 16 years. Mr. Balanian is a sweetheart. He uses the best lenses and since his overhead is low compared to big name places, I’m very happy with the quality and selection.
I was convinced to get progressive lenses through my insurance. I hated them, they only had a small area that was clear and not blurry and they made me nauseous. I went to Mr. Balanian, and he suggested that I try old fashioned bifocals. I did, but they made me even sicker. He then suggested executive bifocals in which the line goes all the way across the lense. They were perfect for me. Vision was crisp and clear all across the lense and it took no time to get used to the line. And, best of all, no nausea. I’ve even bought a frame elsewhere last year and brought it to him to do the lenses.
Now, I’ve got a new prescription and am expecting to pick up my new glasses from him tomorrow. I got the frames and lenses from him.

Very pleasant and patient optometrist, with a good selection of reasonably priced frames. Glasses were ready in a timely manner — will definitely use again!

I bought contact lenses from here and had a great experience. Ohan is is a nice guy and he is very attentive to your needs. He offers very good price, and when I told him I was a student, he offered to ship it to my address within only ONE business day with only $ 6 addition to the fair price. I’ve been wearing contact lenses for 9 years and this is the one of the best shopping experiences I had with contact lens shopping.

I got my last pair of glasses here and had a wonderful experience. They have a very good selection of eyewear and the service is outstanding.
I was having trouble finding exactly what I was looking for in frames but the shop owner was very helpful. There was a particular brand of frames I liked, but didn’t see the shape/​color that I wanted. He got out «the book» for that brand, and showed me several pairs that met my description.
The pair I chose turned out to be perfect and I really appreciated how patient he was with me so that I could get the frames I really wanted! The price was amazingly affordable as well compared to all the big name places like LensCrafters and Pearle Vision.
I would most definitely recommend this place for anyone who prefers the boutique experience. The owner makes you feel so comfortable and does everything to make sure you’re happy with your purchase.
This place is definitely a hidden gem!
