Quality service, quick turnaround, great prices. Aung is the owner and she is an absolute delight and is thorough in finding stains, loose buttons, etc. $ 1.60 for shirts, $ 4.95 for sweaters, can’t beat the prices. Most importantly the quality of service and professionalism is the best!

As I head into adultiness, one thing I’ve had to come to grips with is the conundrum of dry cleaning. I personally hate ironing but also wear materials that aren’t all cotton or polyester so, trips to the dry cleaners have become a bit more common. Lucky for me, I found a dry cleaners that is close to home, quick, and reliable: Arlington-​Lee Cleaners.
I’ve tried almost all of the cleaners within a 1 mile radius of my house in a quest to find a reliable cleaners and A-​LC has won by a long shot. While the $ 1 cleaning place I used to frequent is still tempting from time to time when my dry cleaning bills run up, A-​LC is quick with turnaround with a day or two. Although it might not be the cheapest, it most certainly is the highest quality I’ve seen so far. Silk dresses are about $ 9, silk shirts $ 5 and pants and skirts around $ 4.50.
Another super huge bonus is that they look at each piece individually to note any particularly big stains to pay attention to. This is the first place I have been to that does this. While they can’t guarantee they’ll erase that salsa stain from last week’s taco extravaganza, they’ve been successful at removing whatever food stains lurk on my clothes every time I’ve visited.

Fast and reliable, next day service usually available. Convenience to home makes this a winner.

Two stars instead of one because the service is always friendly. But I’m still switching dry cleaners. I’ve been using Arlington-​Lee for almost two years. Decided to give them a pass after they dyed my favorite cream silk blouse an interesting shade of pink, but the last straw was when they ripped out (and lost) a sewn-​in shell from my favorite new sweater. The cleaning is not done on-​site, either.
