Dr. Feimster told me my x-ray clearly showed an infection in my root/nerve and therefore I needed an immediate root canal. I had two other specialists review the same x-ray. Both said they saw no infection. I will never see Dr. Feimster again. I do not trust her work.

The good: I did not have to wait as my appointments always started on time. Dr. Tawana and her office staff were very friendly and Dr. Tawana was extremely thorough in explaining my procedure, walked me through all the options, and gave me straight forward information when I asked. She even called my dentist multiple times to check on my dental history to ensure she was fully informed before starting any work. I also felt the work I had done, minus the x-ray, was reasonably priced. The bad: The office answering service is terrible – they take a message and fax it the Dr. I left 4 messages over the course of 2 days and didn’t receive a phone call back until day 3. I felt pressured into getting a really expensive($ 350.00) 3D x-ray that was not covered by insurance and turned out to be not very useful for determining the course of my treatment.

Awful beside-manner(dr-patient relationship). Treats you like you’re an idiot and argues with you about everything. Doesn’t care about your time and will keep you waiting for 30 – 45 minutes past your appt time or while sitting in the dental chair waiting for work to be done. Always get a second opinion. I felt that she pushed me into treating an additional tooth when I was in such discomfort from the one tooth that was actually in need to treatment. I wish I had gone elsewhere. Had I gone to another Dr, I might not have gone in for one root canal and instead ended up with 3 from Dr Feimster. I am still dealing with residual issues with these teeth. Wish I went elsewhere.
