The man who owns this 7 – 11 is a crook, who works with the towing company! I pulled in yesterday and saw the sign that read 15 minute 7 – 11 parking only. I wasn’t concerned since I was just running in for coffee, however when I returned my car was gone! Perplexed by this I turn in circles and then a guy approaches me and says was that your car, I responded that it was and he said oh we towed it, when I asked why, he asked to see my receipt from the store! I was only in the store 6 minutes tops! Long enough to make my coffee, pay and come right back out! The gentleman who owns the car lot next door pointed out the owner of the 7 – 11 to me. I approached him while he was clearly speaking English to someone in a car, when I started inquiring about why my vehicle was towed when I was actually in his store, he told me he didn’t speak English and waved me off! I then watched as two other cars pulled into the very spaces I was parked in, these gentleman sat there for over 20 minutes and no attempts were made to have those vehicles towed! When I picked my car up from the tow lot I was informed that the owner had indeed called to have my car towed! This is outrageous! How can you have my car towed when I’m shopping in your store and obeying the rules you have set forth for parking! I would never step foot in this place again, and I will be filing a formal complaint with the better business bureau as well! I also am gonna explore my legal options because this guy needs to be stopped! As I stated before he is a crook! And just so there’s no confusion I still have my receipts and I took pictures of the other guys who were left alone while they parked there for over 20 minutes!

I was wondering why someone gave 7 – 11 five stars until I read the previous reviewer’s hilarious review. I wish I saw 7 – 11 like that, but I can’t give this place five stars! I normally don’t care enough about 7 – 11 to write a review, but today I have to. Today’s incident(6÷4÷10, 7:45PM) rubbed me the wrong way. Usually I come here for a few basics(when I’m too lazy to walk to Giant or am too broke to get a Peapod delivery) and I usually get decent service from the people that work there. But today one guy who worked there was so curt and nasty to me for no reason. English not being your first language is no excuse not to use words of kindness such as «Please,» «Thank you,» and«Have a nice day.» The guy was nice to the men in front of me(probably his buddies) and they took their precious time, but when I got to the counter I wasn’t acknowledged, he placed my change on the counter instead of handing it directly to me, and he shoved my bag at me and told me «It’s done! Just go!» Gee-eeze! All I did was ask for a double bag(I’m a small woman and was going to carry a weighty soda bottle and orange juice bottle in a flimsy plastic bag home, so I needed that reinforcement) and told him«Have a nice day.» Nothing I did warranted his curt treatment. Do I expect five-star, red carpet treatment at 7 – 11? Nope. But what I do expect is kindness and respect and some semblance of decency. Maybe that’ll be my incentive to stop going there for junk and scratch-off tickets… This review is a 3 because I did receive decent service from others there in the past(a 4), but combined with today’s service(a 2) puts it at that rating.
