7-Eleven

Have been to WAY BETTER 7-Eleven’s… this location is not the cleanest or neatest. The staff is indifferent at best, not very friendly and not very helpful. The parking is horrible. Decent selection of snack items, soft drinks etc… typical 7-​Eleven inventory.

This isn’t a fancy 7-​Eleven but the staff are nice and it is a large store with good inventory. The 4^th star is strictly because they actually carry a couple of decent wines that they are not jacking up the price on as they could. The Alamos Malbec is only $ 9.99, that is comparable to the grocery store but I can walk to this 7-​Eleven!

Pretty much your standard 7 – 11. Wide range of snacks and convenience items. Beer. Some of the staff are friendly and helpful. Some are indifferent. Parking is dreadful! A tiny lot is shared with a gentleman’s club and a small restaurant.

I’ll only go here if I really really really have to pick up something and everything else is closed. I’ve been in a few times here and there and have always been underwhelmed. The merchandise is very overpriced (to be expected with a convenience store in an area that doesn’t have a grocery store within 1.0 miles walking), and doesn’t seem to be very fresh either. I’ve also seen the store clerks yelling at at least 2 customers at different occasions (pretty sure one time the clerk was accusing someone of stealing something).
I think it’s major selling point is the convenience/​location factor — definitely not the prices, produce, or staff. So if you need something, it’ll get it for you, but be warned not to raise your expectations too high!

Coming from Cincinnati, a city where 7-​Eleven doesn’t exist, I was pleased to find a location within walking distance of my hotel during my visit to Washington D.C.
I’m a fan of Slurpees, and enjoyed finding unique flavors here, such as lime or banana. My friends and I also stopped by here to pick up sodas and juice during our stay. There was a decent selection of beverages stocked, and the store had average service and cleanliness for a convenience shop.

It’s a mediocre 7 – 11. They have taquitos there that are bland and dry. I got them once and will not do that again. A bag of Tostitos was nearly $ 4. Lines were long. Service was poor. The store is older and doesn’t look very clean.
