The island green smoothie is my favorite smoothie to order from there menu. All smoothies are available in one size only but there a great deal. They have a lot of delicious wraps and flats you can order as well. I personally enjoy the southwest omelet wrap has all the traditional flavors of a breakfast wrap with a spicy chipotle twist. All the workers have always been friendly. Definitely enjoy coming here for a quick bite and refreshing smoothie

I was hoping for a wholesome flavorful smoothie, but got over load of ice in a huge cup and some fruit blended in there. This goes down the list of my worst tsmoothies. They do not wear gloves which is ridiculous :(

Kind staff, clean environment and good food. Personally i like the cappuccino smoothie though I’m sure it has too much sugar so careful. A

Overpriced for what you get. None of the employees where their hair up or have hair nets. Disgusting. Service lacks. Will not be coming back.

The two stars are for the food only. I had the buffalo chicken wrap. It was pretty good, and the portion size was nice! The service was so terrible. I had never been there before so I was kind of overwhelmed by the menu, and as I was looking a line started to form. I quickly asked for a smoothie and half with a buffalo chicken wrap and the guy behind the counter yelled at me «you can’t have a wrap with a half!» In front of a bunch of people. Literally yelled. Not a calm«no sorry we can’t do that.» I was in shock. I’m a waitress and I understand when you have bad days but yelling at a customer? I can do without that. I hope management has a talk with him.

So a couple of weeks ago an employee from Tropical Smoothie Café stops by to drop off a couple of menus and Buy One Get One Free coupon cards to promote their new business in the area. Later that week a coworker and I decide to try it out and we use the coupon card which they honored which was great but their service sucked and the FOODWASJUSTOK. We called in the order and they told us 10 minutes so we wait ten minutes to go there, get there and its another ten minute wait even though there was nobody in there when I got there and a couple of people behind me. The rest of the customers in line were asking them questions about their food but it seemed like the employees didn’t know if they were coming or going. Then today we decide to give them another try and try something new. We had another one of those coupon cards and called in the order and mentioned the card. Again they tell us ten minutes. We wait about 15 then go there. Takes about 5 minutes to get there. When I get there, there are about 3 people in line yet it takes over 15 minutes for me to get to the front of the line. They had 6 – 7 employees working there this time yet only one slow«pretty boy» cashier who had headphones around his ears so you couldn’t tell if he was actually listening to you or to Backstreet Boys on his headphones. When I gave him the coupon card as I was paying, he tells me they can’t accept it because we need to order the same item. We ordered a wrap and a sandwich which were both the same price. That’s what we ordered last time and they honored it and yet this time this«dude» is telling me that it has to be the same item as in 2 wraps or 2 sandwiches yet the coupon card clearly states«FREEITEMMUSTBEOFEQUALORLESSERVALUE.» Nowhere does it say it has to be the same item… just equal or lesser value. So am I pissed that they didn’t honor the coupon card that they dropped off… of course… but I’m more pissed that the damn service was so slow and blah and the cashier was an idiot. For the amount of time I had to wait and the $ 7 price of the sandwich/wrap, you would figure the food was be somewhat better than it is. You are probably better off going across the street to Chipotle or Corner Bakery. The food will taste better and you’ll get quicker service. Hell, go to Gatsby’s Pub on the corner and you could get better service and a beer with your meal. I have a feeling this place won’t last if they keep running it the way they do. I remember when it used to be a Quizno’s and I befriended the owner, Pat, and he and his employees offered great service. Sucks he had to close it but that’s Quizno’s for ya. After Quizno’s there was something else in the same spot but that’s gone too so wouldn’t be suprised if TSC doesn’t last.

Came here for tacos and smoothies with friends. Smoothies are good. Service is fast. Some of our tacos were cold on the inside though. The meat and fish wasn’t raw, just cold in places.

This place has funky hours. I feel like every time I want to go there they are closed. I did get there once while they were open and enjoyed the smoothie, but the hours aren’t the most convenient.

Okay so this review is long overdue. I’ve had Jamba Juice a lot but I have not gone there since I visited TSC. Not only are the smoothies THEBEST but the food is amazing. I recommend the Jamaican Jerk Chicken Wrap. I’ve tried numerous smoothies here and a few different meals. I haven’t been disappointed yet. In fact, I have lost track of how many«favorites» I have. My only recommendation is that they open up more of them!

I don’t like how the smoothies only come in one size: the super-sized smoothie quantity of 24 ounces. I’m not sure how this allows a person to «Eat better. Feel better.», which is the restaurant’s slogan, especially considering the super-sized amount of sugar in those super-sized 24-ounce smoothies as indicated in the nutritional information chart.

We have eaten here many times and it has become one of our family favorites. We have never had a bad meal, the kids like to go there and the food is better for you than most places. Love it.

Great place to get out of the fast food grind. Refreshing smoothies and great food. Service was friendly and prompt. This location was clean with ample space. Parking seems like it could be a bit tricky but worth it in my opinion.

I love this place. I’ve tried different types of smoothies and all of them were very satisfying. My favorite tho is either the health nut or the island green. Make sure to check those out. Also the early bird breakfast wrap sandwich is very good and tasty!

5 stars for food and smoothies. 1 star for employees(except the tall blond girl who seemed like the only one on the ball and friendly.). I’d visit another smoothie café, but not so sure about this location… Edit: Since visiting this one, I’ve been to Lincolnshire — and it’s better. Went back to this one. Got better service, but the manager is a putz. He doesn’t even acknowledge people when he’s sitting right there.

Some would say that you can’t argue with $ 424oz smoothies, but since it wasn’t any better than other smoothies I’ve had in this area, I think you can. Being cost effective is great, but being of quality is better. I went in after hearing they had some great healthy options and a veggie wrap, but was pretty disappointed to see that the only veggie option was that veggie wrap, though they can make any of their other sandwiches without the meat for you, but it’s still the same $ 7 price tag… ouch! Essentially, I paid $ 7 for 2 slices of tomato, a bunch of chopped iceberg and some unnervingly cold guacamole on 2 slices of wheat bread with a little cookie on the side. Major let down and I might have nightmares about that guac. Was it defrosting or something? I mean, I ordered a smoothie, but it was the guac on my sandwich that gave me a brain freeze. My boo ordered the $ 7 veggie hummus wrap– which in comparison to my no-turkey+guac sandwich was extraordinary, but overall and in any regular setting or up against any average sandwich, this wrap isn’t winning any awards… plus neither of us left very full and ended up eating again less than 2-hours later. I felt like since the place had ‘smoothie’ in the title that I had to get one to test out the waters. I went with the Peaches N Silk, because peaches are damn delicious and because the other options all seemed kind of generic with some blend of oranges, strawberries and/or bananas as the filler fruit base. Boring. I know the thing’s only $ 4, but I could buy a V8 Blend for $ 1 and just freeze that. I could only see part of the final blender thing, so I don’t know that any real fruit was even used in the smoothie. What I saw get blended was ice cubes and an already liquid mixture… not super impressive if you ask me. The décor in the place is minimal with a few bright walls and some accent décor made to look like thatched roofing and bamboo walls, and the table-stands all have little cards hawking the franchise. Essentially, It’s a cheaper and more paired down Jamba Juice, but if you like that sort of thing I would defo say to give TSC a try as it’s cheaper, pretty close to the same product and the staff here are just as friendly/bubbly as jubilant Jamba crew.

This location must be new. Service was ok. Wasn’t attentive enough especially during lunch time when people needed to be serviced quickly. However, their smoothies are excellent and the price is not bad! I had the roast beef with wasabi and it was very good. $ 7 for half sandwich and 24oz smoothie is a good thing!

I never knew this place was here and am so glad I found it today! OK, so their smoothies are 24oz, which is HUGE! I’m a 12oz kind of woman. To top it off, the smoothie was four dollars. FOURDOLLARS. For 24oz. Amazing. I had the Peaches N Silk: peaches, bananas, strawberries. My usual combination with an addition of peaches. It tasted very much like Jamba Juice, which is a huge plus because I’m addicted to Jamba. But Jamba dear? Tropical Smoothie might have replaced you. Where else could I get a delicious 24oz smoothie(that I’m STILL drinking at the moment, by the way) for four dollars?! Yep, that’s what I thought. On a side note, the girl behind the counter asked me if I worked at a specific place. When I told her that yes, yes, I did, she said, «You checked me out at the register before.» I thought I had recognized her! So weird that she was my customer and today I was hers. Major props to her memory. This establishment has also cute, colorful tropical décor and seating. I was the only one in here today(at 4:30pm on a weekday in March) but I hope to see more people here in the summer. When the weather warms up and my Chai tea latte addiction is substituted with my smoothie addiction, you’ll find me here.
