Came here to see me boyfriends band play. Question… Why don’t the male bar tenders receive the privilege of a scantily clad uniform, as the women do?
And by privilege I mean unfortunate, way way way dated, circumstance.

I have been to this bar several times, but have never been more disappointed than Sat Jan 30. It was a party of three and we were there for the Bella Cain Modern Day Romeo’s concert. We have been there before for both of these bands and we always have fun, but the«RESERVEDTABLES» are ridiculous. I understand the booths along the wall, but the bench with some small tables should be for regular seating like it always was. We had an issue when we were there for Halloween when we sat there and told we couldn’t sit there cause they were reserved for people. This takes away for seating for people to just have a seat. Well last night we were standing near the reserved seating watching the concert and were asked to move by security because we were too close the the reserved section and the people at the tables couldn’t see. Well I don’t know about you but going to a concert and sitting the whole time is stupid. This area was never reserved before and always open for general seating so for this my friends and I will go elsewhere to enjoy these bands. When i go to these concerts I spend $ 10 as a cover and then a good amount of money on drinks. Oh well they won’t get my $ 100 – 150 dollars for drinks anymore.

I feel like this place is HIT or MISS, I been here a couple of times. Sometimes its EMPTY and others times its JAMPACKED. The back room where they host the concerts are very cool; the main bar can get very crowded at times and I wish the layout for sitting was a bit better. They have a few arcade games and a pool table that kind of take up space. Like I said though, its all hit or miss with this place.

This place is capable of getting some good bands, that’s the only reason it gets 2 stars. The food is awful, and the service is equally terrible. Drinks are overpriced but that’s usual for a music venue. I really wish this place got their shit together because even though it’s a 40 minute drive for me, I really do like the live music they get here just everything else is a disappointment, they need to be on bar rescue or something

This place is terrible. A failing bar with managers who couldn’t give a sh*t. This place was nice when it opened and actually brought a crowd in. Now, any Friday or Saturday night is topped off at about 30 people sitting in the front room. I went in on a Sunday for a Bears game. There were three tables with people, ours included. It took 35 minutes to bring our table mimosas which last time I checked is two ingredients. The manager came to ask how the service was so I expressed my opinion. He decided it would be a good idea to make a joke towards me as the first thing that comes out of his mouth. Well, it didn’t get any better from there. He treated me with no respect and continuous sarcastic comments. Instead of letting his customers get upset maybe he should have helped his short staff instead of sitting at a table drinking with his buddies. DONOTGOTOTHISDUMP!

This place is very nice. I like that they separate the sports bar from the theatre. Great concept. The they’re is very spacious. Down side is the bar is limited on your choices of beer. No bottle beer only can. Had an incident where there was a man cleaning the women’s washroom while the women were using it. He should have closed it for a few minutes. I thought that was tacky.

This place sucks. They literally ran out of beer while hosting a Blackhawks road watch party. This time they had $ 3 pints on special. They bring us our beer in these plastic cups and literally they say 12oz on the bottom. We call them out and they said oh well we ran out of glasses and it’s basically the same thing. We’re like no… There’s a 4 oz difference and they’re still charging us $ 3. So there solution is to buy us a round cuz the bars«too busy» and they don’t have any more 16oz glasses. Their idea of busy is actually having every table full. Waitresses and manager are rude because we’re pissed off that they’re trying to fool us. And their food sucks! No taste Service is slow. We waiting 20 mins for a server and had to get up and ask for someone.

Terrible service at the bar. Waited 15 minutes each time to get a drink and to close my tab. And it wasn’t even busy. They have a restroom attendant, so expect to tip every time you want a paper towel. They do have good shows. And the bar & restroom in the concert area do not have the issues I mentioned, it’s just the front area. So come for the live music, avoid otherwise.

We came here for my friend’s birthday/Halloween/Modern Day Romeos concert. I had never been here before, and at first was happy with the venue. They have 2 bars in the concert area, a large bar in the sports bar section, we(initially) didn’t have to wait for drinks, and the drinks were cheap! Then…it went downhill. My biggest issue is the security. Everyone else who worked here for the most part was pleasant. But the security guys are jerks! First off, why are there 80 of them standing around? It’s not that serious. It’s the suburbs. We had two awesome encounters with them. First, we were waiting at the bar for a drink later on in the night. It was busy, and we had been waiting a long time. There was no sign saying that we could not stand where we were at the bar. After a long time of waiting, a security guy told us we couldn’t stand there and had to move. We told him we didn’t want to move because we had already been waiting a long time. They quickly made us drinks and then made us move(try putting a sign there or something… then people will know NOT to stand there. There’s an idea for ya.). Then, one of the guys we were with tripped and fell. Had he been drinking? Yes, it’s a bar. Was he causing a scene, fighting people, puking, etc? No. Immediately 3 security guys stormed up to us and told us that we had to leave. We didn’t fight them(we had a cab coming anyways), and told them we were leaving. No… they had to ESCORT us out, and shine flashlights to «light the way»(slash make a scene out of it) as we left. It was totally uncalled for and unnecessary. It really wasn’t that big of a deal. Needless to say I’d rather go to another bar to see some live music. The security here is just too ridiculous for me to want to give them any more money.

Ummmm. I usually seek the bright side of things. I will say they have magic hat #9. It was also fun to have the food come out before the beer. And you can always play the game of how many times you can ask for the check before it comes… Bush + league = ? Addendum: The concert venue IS really nice and the TWC kicks butt. Worth a bonus star Addendum #2: Service STILL sucks in the concert venue. There goes your bonus star

Bar all around is good… concert venue is good except for seating… also, going to a hip hop concert I understand the«weed» smoking, didn’t get why it was allowed in the venue. I couldn’t even finish the concert due to the amount of pot being smoked. Nice way to allow paying patrons to be treated. It was ridiculous, and to top it off, the arlington heights pd and prospect heights pd were just standing around. Real nice.

I was planning my sisters bachelorette party and she had said that she wanted to start by have all the girls meet up at Home Bar. I had never been here before so I called 3 days in advance and asked if it would be okay if they reserved a table for 18 girls. I didn’t think they would without putting a card down or buying a bottle of alcohol. We were only planning on being there for an hour and 45 minutes due to a bus picking us up. I talk to the manager and she said not a problem at all. When we got there we were surprised with two bottles of champagne and champagne glasses!!! Such as awesome start to are extremely fun night!!!

Came here for a concert. Ticket prices were fair, drink prices are average, but the venue was great. Very intimate concert & security was on top of those causing trouble! Had a great time!

How much fun is it to tell your friends to meet them at «HOME»? Pretty sure I said that joke like wayyy to many times. Anyways, my first time at HOME(haha), it was a Blackhawks night and also someone’s bar mitzvah? It was a little weird to have a bunch of tweens come through the doors. So first let me say the good things: the bartenders were fast and offered good deals throughout the night like $ 3 Coors Light and either $ 3 or $ 5 fireball shots. Someone took my half full beer away and the bartender gave me a new one with no questions. The not so good: the service overall was terrible. We had a table of 12 – 15 people and I understand it’s a crazy night and we were a huge party, but I’ve never had so many orders get messed up before. Someone in my party ordered food they never received, food orders were mixed up, the wait for the food was so long and some people in the party who ordered a lot later received their orders sooner. I am as understanding as I can be, I understand that being understaffed or just dealing with a huge group of people can get stressful or confusing, but unfortunately that was my experience there. If I were to come back I think it’d just be for drinks.

Best chicken tenders!!! Tuesday nights for trivia … I got the chicken tenders and a plate of beef nachos. The beef nachos came and there was plenty of good ingredients guacamole and salsa really crispy chips. But the chicken tenders were the show, very crispy large tenders with tasty coating probably panko bread crumbs. The chicken tenders are a must order they come with barbecue sauce and I believe ranch sauce and 1 other sauce I can’t remember this bar/restaurant has great entertainment from trivia to live music

Only came here for drinks. As it is a Blackhawks bar, this is the perfect place to watch the game with a group and get some great drink deals. On a Tuesday night it was $ 3 u call it pints so I only paid $ 6 for 2 beers! Even the organ player of united center was there. The food smelled pretty good, so I’ll be sure to try some next time!

Pretty decent place to see bands, could improve on the DJ area. 3.5 stars overall. Seeing bands — I’ve been here a number of times, all for seeing bands play, and have generally had a positive experience. I can’t speak for others but having seen hundreds of shows from a variety of genres, HOME does a decent job. There is plenty of room, the sound isn’t bad, they have a limited bar in the music room so you don’t have to go all the way to the front, and the security has always been helpful in assisting me in getting to a good spot since I use a wheelchair. Front bar and/or DJ — The short time I’ve spent in the front while a DJ played has been a waste. There really isn’t a dance section so it’s just background music, and with most of the patrons hanging out with friends having to shout over elevated music it becomes more of an annoyance. They need to keep performers and DJs in the back entertainment room and set music in the front at a reasonable volume. It doesn’t even look right with the DJ area being right next to tables and TVs. Food — Haven’t eaten here, stuck to beer and alcohol. The only other place in the area I see as a competitor is Durty Nellies, which has a WAY better beer list and section for just hanging out for drinks without loud music. HOME only charges you for seeing performers if you want in the back, Nellies screws everyone over with the cover even if you have no interest in seeing whatever cover band is playing that night unless you get in early.

Went to see Saliva 11.8.2014 Doors opened 7 :30 They had 4 cover bands, before Saliva came ever came on. It was 12a.m. This is a dishonest venue. They had you buying drinks for 5.5 hours before the main event came on. All employees were great. Comfortable place. Lots of parking Reasonable drink prices. But try to get a straight answer of show times before you go. Crooked M.F.ers.

Located in a plaza across from my old high school, it is a weird spot and from the outside it does not look like much. Walk in and your jaw will drop. It’s HUGE and really cool inside. Pool tables, big screens. The back concert hall has great acoustics and not a spot in the house. You can easily see the stage from anywhere. Easy to walk in and out from the concert and go to the front if you want some food. I tried the tater skins and just by the one app with pulled pork and pico on it as well I was impressed and need to try more the next time I go. The $ 3 beer of the month also impressive, they had Leinie summer shanty!
