As a gamer and nerd I frequent Gamestop quite often. usually for games that I’m so excited about that I rather just buy it the same day than wait for Amazon to ship it me.
I like this particular location because the staff is extremely friendly and doesn’t make you feel weird about being 26 and buying a Pokemon game. I’ve been to other Gamestops where the person working looks at you like a you’re a freak if you buy certain games, but every time I’ve shopped at this one the staff seems more excited about the games than I am… which is always great because the games I buy from here are the ones I’m most passionate about.
Let me be honest and say I get most of my new and used games via
because you save more money but I still recommend Gamestop if you don’t want to wait, appreciate quality conversation and tips about the games and sometimes get a great deal (sometimes better than Amazon) when they have their buy 2 get one free deals.

As the wife of a nerd, you know I frequent this place from time to time. They have a great selection of used games, and we can usually find what we want. The employees are very helpful and friendly and are always willing to make conversation. They are definitely more expensive that buying online, but it is convenient– especially if you want to pre-​order games. They usually have specials with pre-​ordering as well.

The employees are always incredibly friendly. They’re not pushy and far more knowledgeable than I’ll ever be.
The amount they buy games back for is too low but the convenience outweighs the effort to sell them elsewhere.
I went on a busy Saturday and the place was littered with kids trying to convince their dads to buy them a video game or 6. Poor dads…
The only thing keeping this place from 5 stars was cleanliness. The place seemed like it needed a good vacuuming but that doesn’t affect the playability of the games. So, I’ll go back again and again.
