Firestone Tire & Service Centers

Took my truck here because of the $ 99.00 brake special due to someone saying my pads possibly need replacing. They were one of the only ones open on Sunday. When I took it here I told the clerk that if the rotors need work not to go forward since I wanted a special kind of rotor to use. Sure enough I need pads and rotors. The rotors if cut would be out of spec, they said. I then took my truck to a different shop and when they did the brake inspection the HONEST mechanic said your brakes are fine and that their is about 40% left and that with there only being 40,000 miles on the truck that I still have a year or two more. I cant believe that I almost got ripped off. Their customer service was poor. I felt like I bothered them with my brakes. The clerk could care less. Would never go here again! Said since the shop looked clean and inviting.

My car battery broke down and had to be towed to them given that it was a ‘preferred’ service center by my car insurance. They installed a cheap car battery and a remanufactured alternator for a whopping $ 600 (so-​called ‘discount’ was already included). Even if you include the service charge, it was expensive compared to other shops. But I had not much of an option that time…

Took my 2004 Jeep there with a leaking radiator. Was informed that I needed a new one as well as all the hoses, etc. $ 991 dollars later I drove away with a brand new radiator system and the next morning woke up to green radiator coolant all over my garage floor and a hood latch that was broken due to the installation of a unit that does not fit my vehicle. Completely unacceptable.
Then in May, two months later, the «new» radiator blows on the way home from a fishing trip. Local guy does an awesome job fixing it but stated that they «forced» the wrong radiator into my vehicle, it was never going to hold and am lucky that it didn’t cause the vehicle to completely blow! Never again guys.

As a women it is hard to trust people within the automotive business. Luckily, this Firestone is so helpful. They have trained, certified technicians, friendly salespeople, and are always ontime.
