I’ve been coming here almost every Friday night with my family for about 10 years now. Sometimes there is a bit of a wait (we usually have 6 – 9 people in our party). Even on busy nights we’ve waited 15 minutes at most for a table. Wait staff is always smiling and helpful. GET THE PINEAPPLE DIP with the tortilla chips… absolutely amazing! I’ve had a variety of items from the menu, but my personal favorite’s are the smothered Sancho, enchilada sampler, or the Taco salad. When I’m not in the mood for Mexican food, I get the chicken friend steak dinner. Probably the best chicken fried steak I’ve had in this area. I will always recommend this restaurant to anyone even passing through Ark City.

This is not the authentic place I was looking for. I was hoping to find a good place to eat. Using flour tortillas for everything, especially enchiladas is not the way to go. The chips were not made in house, probably from a bag. Not to mention the waitress who was way less friendly than the girl who seated me and brought my chips. The cheese dip and tostada were good. I would forgo the salsa as well. This is one place I will not go back to and would not recommend. Taco Bell would’ve been a more satisfying. This is coming from a San Diego native, not from the area.
