If you stop by this place during the week before the cheesemakers knock off for the day you can see the cheese-making process through large windows. That is very cool, but it means that this smells like a place that makes cheese(hint: not a great smell). They sell cheese in all kinds of quantities(I bought a 5 pound block of aged sharp cheddar), jerky, crackers, drinks in a cooler, and touristy items like magnets. The retail part is pretty small, but the ladies working there were friendly and parking is easy.

CHEESE! This is where Co Jack cheese was invented. You can see into the production floor while in the store and see the cheese getting made, which is oddly hypnotizing and fascinating. They have a good selection of cheese(not huge with absurd choices but all the basics are covered). We got CoJack(duh) along with cheese curds(so squeaky and delicious!), a baked cheese which we have yet to try, some smoked string cheese(excellent), and some cheese meat sticks with cheese in them that were really good. You can get cheese in plenty of places, a lot of the same stuff you can get here, when you are in Wisconsin, but this place let’s you see it getting made, which was a nice bonus. The staff was super nice and all our cheese was great.
