This place was great! Everything we ate was good, the service was very good and the prices were on target. I really enjoyed the Bayou chicken dinner! It looks like they do live music, although there wasn’t any while we were there.

Decided to stop here in the way back home after having seen the sign a few times on I35. I didn’t know what to expect, going into the place. Was it a Cajun restaurant, or Mexican food? As I got closer I saw that the windows are heavily shaded and you can’t see inside at all and that nervous feeling comes along like«.. . is this a strip club?» It certainly is very dark inside and the walls and ceiling are a dark red. They have a stage and live music on certain days. Ted Nugent is going to be here soon. It’s apparently a big rock and roller destination. Peter Frampton has been here, so that’s good enough for me. There’s a seating area in the rear of the restaurant with signed guitars lining the walls. The menu has a very large amount of chicken dishes for whatever reason. I ordered the BBQ chicken sandwich with fries. The fries are big and potato-y. The sandwich itself was smaller than I would have liked, but the chicken breast was cooked and seasoned juuuust right. I really liked it. I had originally intended to give this place 4 stars but some small touches pushed it over the top. Including but not limited to: The forks have three tines instead of four.(This could be a con for some) The helpful staff. A server took several minutes to give directions to a couple in the booth in front of me. The way every family seemed satisfied and happy. Including couples, families with children, a large party celebrating something, and individual diners. It’s definitely worth a visit if you find yourself in Ardmore or making the trip up and down I35. Especially considering the other options around here are chain restaurants. I finished up with a full order of the Apple Dumpling which looked like it had been sent here from another planet. A beautiful utopian apple dumpling planet. If you think about how we name foods, it’s often by what they look like or what they are, but not what they do for you. This is unfortunately necessary because then every food would be called a ‘Make me feel good and full’. This Apple Dumpling deserves that name. If you’re on a diet and know you’re going to break it. Let it be broken by this.

Good food, excellent service! Staying in Ardmore for one night to attend a funeral nearby, and went to Unilocal to find a food place. 2 Frogs certainly didn’t disappoint! Lots of cool memorabilia and a very friendly waitstaff made this meal terrific, even under the unfortunate circumstances that brought us here.

After arriving in Ardmore last night due to an unplanned detour on our trip, we popped into Two Frogs grill for late dinner. I knew it was going to be a good experience as I walked in past the stage set up for live performances and noticed the autographed guitars lining the wall. Not really even knowing what type of food was served, we stopped here partially because the parking lot was jam packed. Upon first glance, the menu is a hodge podge of items with lots of variety. However, the general theme I would say is Cajun. To start the night off I had the cloud nine martini which was basically a bourbon cocktail in a martini glass. The dish I settled on was fettuccine alfredo with blackened chicken which was to die for. I hardly ever finish an entire bowl of pasta but this dish called for just that. The entrée was also served with a salad. The salad came with your choice of dressing and our server came around with fresh ground black pepper which makes every salad better. The entrée was also served with soft, flaky, delicious rolls and butter. I am a connoisseur of sorts when it comes to bread and these rolls are in my top three of all time. That is quite an honor because there is some fierce competition in the fresh baked bread world. My mother had the shrimp trio dinner special and she said it was fantastic too. She had a side of the glazed baby carrots which were the most flavorful carrots I’ve ever had in my life(I had to steal a bite). The carrots were cooked in a sweet cinnamon flavored sauce. The food was great, but the best part of the evening was the great service which is difficult to come by these days and the live music. Usually you have to go to a bar or concert venue to get good live music, but tonight we had a great meal with high quality service and a smoke-free, fun atmosphere to enjoy the show. In the future, I might have to make a special trip to Ardmore just to eat here again or at the very least stop by anytime I’m on the way to Dallas.

Greasy food. Awesome rock and roll memorabilia, but kinda creepy red walls, ceiling and black and white checkerboard floors. Smoked chicken quesadilla was not that great.

Two Frogs is not just a bar & night club it’s a badass award winning restaurant owned by a badass Cajun! :)) I hate writing reviews of my fave places, then when I want to go have lunch or dinner there its a 45 min wait for a Table! Lol It gets super busy on the weekends especially if someone good is playing there. You can go to their website to view the schedule & get tickets. Bret Michaels plays regularly at Two Frogs among many others. Kevin Costner & Randy Travis are buds with the owner apparently & love them some Two Frogs as well. There are many celebrities that live around here that frequent Two Frogs. The owner is a celebrity magnet social butterfly. He’s Cajun what do you expect? Lol It’s a really cool looking Rock n’ Roll bar! Inside, legendary Rock Gods & their guitars line the walls in gorgeous black & white photos like Rod Stewart, Zeppelin & Robert Plant. From the main dining room to the back it has black & white checkered floors, comfy booths that line the blood RED walls with tables in the center that are all facing the Two Frogs stage. The VIP Area is in back, behind a black velvet curtain. It’s very private, has a beautiful bar, candlelit tables & booths with a gorgeous chandler hanging in the center. The whole place is dimly lit & is super chic with a touch of Rock n’ Roll all around. Especially that amazing leopard carpet! It’s a very cool place indeed. However, what keeps me coming back is the Cajun inspired Menu. The food is amazing. Everything is scratch made even the warm yeast rolls they bring out to your table with butter. The Cajun wings are a must if your a wing person. Very crispy with a Cajun seasoning on them that’s spicy perfection. My other fave appetizer is the spinach & artichoke dip. This isn’t your regular spinach & artichoke dip folks. It’s loaded with spinach & big chunks of artichoke! It also comes with chips, salsa & sour cream. Hubby loves that ;) Steaks & fried catfish are very good but I was born in NOLA so I like the Cajun stuff. On the weekends they have several specials, one is a red snapper on dirty rice topped with étouffée that will knock your socks off! Just as good as any top restaurant in New Orleans. I love that they come with one or two sides depending on what you get. The sides are always yummy. Hubby loves the okra & Cole slaw & I’m in LOVE with the red beans & rice & the loaded baked potato :)… They also serve frog. Yep. You can get frog legs here anytime you want & they are fantastic. Put this one on your bucket list. It’s a one of a kind place. I don’t think I could live so posh around here«joie de vivre» without Two Frogs. A Cajun needs some Cajun in their life! :)) Great food & a fun atmosphere Nola style! Laissez les bons temps rouler! Highly highly recommend.

This was my second visit to this restaurant. Anytime I am in the area, I will eat there. Their service was great and their food even better.

It’s been a very long time since I had been to Two Frogs until my recent visit. I vaguely remembered the rock and roll theme, but that was about it. I was happy to return during a work trip to Ardmore. I was craving catfish but was also trying to be somewhat healthy. Luckily they offered a charbroiled catfish, and it was really good. I like that the entrees come with a salad and two sides. It’s so nice to have that included as opposed to paying more for something that costs the restaurant very little. The salad had what I’m assuming were homemade croutons as well, very tasty along with the dinner rolls. Our server was very attentive. I liked that the restaurant felt like something from the past, but was clean and didn’t feel old and dingy. I was overall happy with everything, but would definitely like to try to more of the Cajun style of the menu. When I’m back in the area, I’d be glad to return and try some other items.

Sat at the bar and had a ribeye and beer. Stella on tap made my night. Bartender was very attentive and friendly. Salad was basic. I ordered the blue cheese vinegarette. Very generic but it was fine. Ribeye– I order it rare. Whoever cooked it tried really really hard to get the perfect cross hatch sear marks on it. Which they succeeded at. But it made one side of the steak well done and the other almost blue. Black eyed peas had great flavor and baked potato seemed fresh and was loaded with the basics. Not a bad place. I’d go again since there isn’t any other options for food in that area.

Low lit relaxed atmosphere, not to busy for a Thursday night. The food was good. And the staff was friendly. We got a vip chips and salsa because we stayed at a qualifying hotel. When we walked in the waiter was laying down on the job. Not very professional but I think he was a teenager and it didn’t really matter. No bands were playing that night. I’m sure it’s a better experience when they have live music.

Really delicious food. Big portions. Great service. The catfish is crispy and perfectly spiced. They know how to cook a steak and their bread rolls are heaven. Their cooked carrots taste like candy yams in the best possible way. Worth your time to stop.

Great little joint in this small town. Good food with a very fun blues and rock n roll club type feel to the décor yet very family friendly. The food has a slight cancun flair. The décor feels more like a jazz lounge than a cajun bayou joint. Food was very tasty, but nothing that blew me out of the water. One really fun item they have is a GIANT pile of cotton candy for dessert. It was a massive mound, so tall you couldn’t see the person across the table from you. Our large group had great fun sharing and passing it around the table.

We were hungry for steak so we drove up from Winstar and boy, was it worth it! I had the small filet and my husband had the ribeye. Excellent flavoring and cooked to perfection. We started off with fried mushrooms and they were delicious! Salad, baked potatoes, and fried okra were all tasty too. Great service! The décor is nice… love all the guitars. And loved the bluesy music playing. We’ll definitely be back!

The food was off the hook. That may have been the single best steak that I have ever had which is high praise for me as I am a steak whore! The only thing better than than the food was the service! The waiter knew the menu well and have lots of amazing recommendations. The owner came by and told us the history of one of the dishes that he created and I was sold! The«aubry steak» is something that anyone must experience for themselves.

So I was craving some fried Cajun/Louisiana style food. I stumbled across this restaurant! Now at first I was thinking what restaurant would want frogs as a name or logo! Lol anyhow the décor totally doesn’t match the restaurant but the food is GOOD! Our server was Apes and she was great! Try the fried crawfish tails as your starter. I know that may not sound good to those who have never tried crawfish but this dish was good! I’m not a fan of frog legs but I was told it was good! The ribs were tender and the fried shrimp was good and crunchy! They used cocktail sauce to dip a lot of the fried foods which to my surprise I actually liked the cocktail sauce this time. I was not impressed with the catfish and the pecan pie. If they had this in my home town I would stop by for lunch or dinner again.

This place is OK. The ambiance is a bit weird and dark, but it’s clean and the food is pretty good. If I lived here, I would probably come back on occasion… But not a special occasion.

Very fun décor. Loved the sign outside… Two Frogs Rib-it. Guessing this is a rib joint and we are gonna have to taste them. The meat literally fell off the bone. They didn’t even need BBQ sauce cinnamon carrots had me searching for the recipe so that I can make those buggars at home!
