Party Blvd

Had to do a last-​minute scout for helium tank rentals for YouthOutright’s alternative prom, and despite finding multiple search results, a cursory attempt at phone calls yielded nothing. Although customer ratings for Party Blvd were high, I usually try to avoid going to South Asheville on principle. When I did make the call, it was answered promptly and with friendliness. Turns out the drive was more than worth it; we purchased our own balloons for the event, and Michael was quick to discern that they would not meet our needs (after giving the first one a shot and winding up with a weenie-​sized balloon that barely floated). Got hooked up a pack of two dozen more balloons and helium service for a reasonable round price, plus careful assistance in stuffing the things into my tiny Honda so that they would not pop in the heat, plus great conversation. Most importantly, the youth were delighted by them. Next time the occasion calls for it, I won’t hesitate again to drive across town for this kind of service!

The Party Boulevard offered a wonderful shopping experience. The store had a plentiful array of merchandise that fit the season and the occasion. I was looking for an assortment of items ranging from a Happy 80^th Birthday card to a Mexican flag to a black lace fan. The owners were extremely helpful and pleasant. I felt a warm welcome into the store and loved the one stop shopping experience. I will go back for sure!

This place is awesome!!! Walking in the door takes you back to Dreamland Drive-​in (if you are a local you know what I’m talking about). Step in, get your pop corn and Mtn. Dew slushy, for free I might add, and take a stroll around Lovers Lane or Sunset Blvd. and find exactly what you need for your party!
In all seriousness, the staff is always friendly and they will go out of their way to make your get together a hit. They have even special ordered things for me if they didn’t have something in the store that I needed. Be it balloons, party favors, tailgate gear or gag gifts, I will always go to Party Blvd. over Party City!
