I have fond memories of Creekside Park from my childhood. I remember the train caboose and the huge boulders that I used to climb around on when I was a kid. The caboose is no longer there, and I believe there are still a few boulders, but somehow they don’t look as big as I thought they were when I was a kid! I really enjoyed the tennis courts as a teenager. Throughout the years a lot of good changes have taken place at Creekside and even as an adult I still enjoy visiting this park. There are several excellent trails for walking or running. They weave in and out of the forest and lead into local neighborhoods. The scenery is very nice. There is plenty of playground equipment, which my little niece loves playing on. There is a disc golf course and a weekly farmers market at the park. Creekside always puts on an excellent July 4th fireworks display. This is a wonderful, local, family-oriented park.
