Wildberries is my favorite market to shop from. The cooks take pride in their café, and the staff is always friendly and helpful.

Food is great; but unfortunately every time I go there the employees are not very nice-mostly the cashiers. I actually avoid this place now because of their unfriendliness.

Nice little market. Reminded me of a mini Whole foods but much better! Lots of product choices for preparing a variety of ethnic foods. A great selection of bulk foods and everyday items. I was impressed with their selection of cheeses too!

This market is always busy, its one of those stores that no matter what time you go — there are always people shopping. With it’s close proximity to the college and location literally in the middle of town, it is a true community hub. There’s a great deli counter, which usually has line especially during the lunch time hours. All the organic, local and sustainable ingredient products and goods you would hope to find in a health food store/market are on the shelves and in the display cases, as well as a lot of the standard items of a traditional grocery store. Along with a Juice bar and build your own salad bar, there is also a Ramones bakery has a service counter inside. There is a ticket service window is located inside making it easy to purchase tickets to most of the local events, concerts and entertainment venues. Also, this market has one of the nicest and largest organic/local produce selections around — the plaza farmers market at full summer season is about the only thing better. I shop here occasionally as it is not close to my home — but when I do its always an interesting trip. 4 Stars and well worth a visit. 353

It’s pretty much my grocery store of choice, between the co-op of course I come here three to four times a week, for my every day needs. Creamer, coffee for the partner at home, veggies, and I always try to get my meat here. They have the best prices in seafood! I love that they carry local foods and promote them as well. Everyone is friendly! I just love coming here!

This place is like a cross between Safeway and the North Coast Co-Op, both in town. It has a lot of natural, organic, gluten free, vegan, etc. choices, but also has things like Snickers that you would find at Safeway, but wouldn’t expect in a natural grocery store. That’s the thing, I don’t exactly consider this place a natural grocery store, but it’s close.

Good location. Good grocery store. Decent service with a smile and a bit of conversation. Prices on some items a bit high, on others fine — not a bargain store. I like the juice bar and the café inside too! Only drawback — such loud music! Farmers Market on Tuesdays in the parking lot! Sometimes parking is hard to find.

This is probably the most expensive health conscious grocery store in the county. I honestly think the prices are quite pretentious for the items provided. If you’d like to shop organic, the co-op I find has more agreeable prices and better selections on the produce. Wildberries is convenient nonetheless for being near the center of town in Arcata but I try to avoid shopping there. Their juice bar is good and so is their deli. If I have no time I will get those items. If you can afford it, it’s your dollar but I like to stretch mine by buying elsewhere while still eating healthy. The farmers market or even better yet your own garden are more affordable alternatives. If you’re trying to buy a pantry full of food, I would shop elsewhere for a better deal — while still eating healthy.

AKA Wild Larry’s if you’ve been around for awhile… a long while. Anyway this place is the bomb especially their fresh juice bar! Everything is delicious and made with quality organic ingredients. I also adore their deli, salads, grilled salmon, their specials always rock the foodie world. I love that Ramones is still inside to get a frothy café, killer double chocolate walnut cookie or croissant. Wildberries has a couple places to take a load off and eat. It’s also superb people watching spot or bump into a friend. If you need to buy someone flowers, yep this is the place! Shall I continue? No, just go there and check it out. It’s a bit pricey but hey, you get what you pay for.

I stopped here several times during my road trip along the California coast. I got smoothies from their smoothie bar each time, and I’d recommend them. They usually have a tray with smoothie samples, so grab one to help you during the decision-making process. Wildberries is definitely worth a visit if you’re looking for healthy natural foods and products.

Love the grocery selection at Wildberries. Great central location with plenty of parking. I really like their floral selection for making creative bouquets.

Lively and fun market that somehow has the organic veggies of the coop, excellent coffee and pastries, juice bar, salad bar, hot and cold deli, nice wine & beer selection, herbal remedies, vitamins, and even a nice sunroom to eat in. They also have the parfait granola, fruit & yogurt bar. You pay the price for all of this of course. But when you want what you want, well… Wildberries likely has what you are looking for.

Just an awesome marketplace with everything to offer! Really cool selection of local products, especially the kombucha! The bulk section has a very wide variety of offerings, and there is something for everyone there. It is also perfect to load up on trail mix and snacks before setting off to hike in the redwoods. The deli is also something to note — the sandwiches were delicious and it is a lot of food for such great prices. Highly recommend the Arcata Club — you cannot go wrong. Not much else to write… Just a very nice, pleasant and upbeat market. Clean and bright. All the staff smile and are more than happy to help out. Will definitely be returning next time we are in the area!

I’m specifically reviewing the deli in this review. Unfortunately, the sandwich deli is a huge disappointment. They usually get my order wrong in some way(making me a whole instead of a half, missing or substituting things on the ticket, etc). Sometimes they even lose my order(how do you lose the ticket? It goes in the basket… then you make the sandwich…). I spent 30 minutes one day waiting for a sandwich. [The rest of the store is good. Has the things you need, albeit at a slightly elevated price compared to some of the other grocery stores around here.]

Possibly the best grocery store in Arcata. Healthy options. Wildberries has a cheery space at the end of the salad bar to sit and eat lunch. Inviting!

Wildberries is the bomb. Plan and simple. I am a frequent customer here for two reasons: the food selection from the deli is awesome and cheap… And secondly because the service is great. All the checkers are extremely friendly and genuine. For a quick snack, I recommend the«spicy black bean chipotle burrito.» It’s only 3 $ and the quality is exceptional! If you’re really feeling hungry, the grass fed burgers and sandwiches will never let you down! I love wildberries and I’m going to miss this place once I move!

This place is yum, yum, yum. From the Ramone’s bakery and coffee bar to the salad bar the food is high quality. Wildberries is a joy to shop in. Prices are going to be a little higher than a Safeway but you get so much more natural and eclectic selection here. For example, there are at least 10 brands of different yogurt choices including goat and sheep’s milk choices. Also a market should have nice meat selections, WildBerries has very nice meat counter where the high quality meats and seafood is not overpriced, but leans toward the best quality meats and seafoods at a very fair price. For example: Wildberries had Wild King Salmon(it’s now in season) at $ 16/pound. I bought Sockeye Wild Alaskan at $ 12 a pound at the hard to beat Costco recently, and while in Ashland 3 weeks ago we spent $ 20/pound for wild Sockeye there at the Shop ‘n’ Kart(which is the discount supermarket of Ashland, OR). This is also a nice place to grab a coffee and cake, as they have a wonderful indoor patio. It’s refreshing to see a small, private market done so well, in a land dominated by giant chain stores.

I was in Arcata for meetings at HSU and I stumbled upon Wildberries when I was wondering around«downtown». I can’t say enough about how I love this store. I would absolutely shop here if I didn’t live on the East Coast. For a local store, the selection of brands and items is amazing. The produce is F-R-E-S-H. And anyone that worked in the store that I encountered was happy to be there and greeted you with a smile. What is not to love? Oh wait, there’s a small coffee shop(with amazing treats) and a juice bar to boot. Totally a wonderful place and accomodates the carnivore, locavore, vegetarian, and/or vegan(and much more). Only sad thing is that I don’t live any where close and likely won’t ever be there again.
