My fav! I’m stuck on the Korean beef burrito. Wish they were in mckinleyville then I’d be there every day!

I’d give them 5 stars if they adhered to their own hours of operation. Just because your taco business is a front for your Marijuana business doesn’t mean you get to be open a quarter of the time you’re supposed to be.

Probably my favorite Mexican food in Arcata, deliciously marinated meats and decent prices. However the last 3 times I have tried to go they have been closed! The open hours that they post seem to mean little, so it’s hard for me to go out of my way just to see if they’re open.

I eat here once a week when I’m working in arcata and absolutely love it! Favorite thing to order is the Korean bbq beef quesadilla, awesome example of the Latin/asian fusion

Update: they’ve since fixed every single one of my complaints! I can go there for a work lunch again now since they’re accepting call in orders. They’ve also moved the truck back back to Samoa Blvd which is way more convenient than where they had it before.

I have to admit that the Korean/Mexican fusion is pretty tasty. I love burritos, and this place is definitely the best cart in Humboldt county if you’re a burrito fanatic like me. Good prices too!

The bombast of the bomb spiced asada in the county. Could eat this everyday. Friendly and quick staff. Pleasure cruise

Carne asada tacos are the best, the salsa is the perfect amount of heat. Will be coming back soon

Veggi taco was mostly rice with a couple grilled onions, my husband had three different meat ones and said they were okay, mostly meat. Paid extra for guacamole and took our order home and realized we did not receive any. Wont be going back.

Oh my god, the enchiladas are incredible! And cheap! Can’t wait to try everything else on the menu.

Good meat. Certainly not the cheapest taco truck. Crazy tiny street tacos, so make sure you order at least three.

This place is pretty legit, much tastier than most of the Mexican sit-down restaurants. The fusion meats are really good as well. As another reviewer mentioned, there Al-Pastor is the best I’ve had in Humboldt.

love their food, but found them to be very unreliable and are hardly ever open as advertised. If you do catch them while they are open for business, everything on their menu is much better than anything available at other arcata and humboldt trucks and restaurants.

Best tacos and burritos and all around mexican food in humboldt county by far. They are doing something right over here folks! Prices aren’t too bad either

I was drawn there by the reviews and had a expectation of good food. I ordered the pork tacos… and a burrito… Sorry I found the food to be lean on the meat, full of beans and rice and other than the sauce I really did not get the Korean aspect. The burrito tortilla was gummy, The sauce was sweet and pretty flavorless. There was a line of 10 people in front of me and I was just underwhelmed after the 40 minute wait.

Tacos are good, but the business gets one star due to awful customer service. Getting just one taco can easily take up to 40 minutes. I once asked the owner if I could have the phone number for the truck, since I only get 30-minute lunch breaks and it takes way too long to get tacos here. He told me that he deliberately doesn’t have a phone for his food truck(the only food truck in town that I’m aware of that doesn’t take phone orders). When I asked him why, he told me that phone orders would streamline the process too much. He said that he likes making customers wait longer on purpose because it makes the line longer. He further explained that a longer line meant that his truck would«look busier» to passers-by, which would make people think his truck was more popular. That’s right. The owner’s strategy is to provide terrible service to purposely increase wait times and slow-down the line, thinking that the end result will be more customers. I’m never going back to this taco truck. There are at least five others in town. Taco Faktory’s tacos are inconsistent at best anyway.

The Korean flavor was pretty sweet. Plenty of food and good service. I’ll be back to try the Mexican food. Heard its up to the Humboldt standard, for what that’s worth

This a 4 for Arcata. Elsewhere in California, a 3 at best,. Screw the credibility non-essential, the I have lived in LA blah blah blah… Arcata isn’t finna be one of those other places so deal with it. This is the best taco truck in Arcata. I recommend bringing your own salsa if you know what you are doing. If you don’t know what you are doing, get one of them korean taco shiznicks. Tacos are better than Burritos. Tacos are a bit pricey from what I am use to, but whatever it isn’t that bad. I have to try a Torta… will report back with results.

I needed a quick dinner on my way home from work so I stopped in. At first I was freaked out because the menu is a list of 6 or 7 meats starting with Korean BBQ Beef. The sign has prices for tacos, burritos, enchiladas, and a quesadillas along the edges of the menu. I asked the young lady(Daisy) taking my order what was good and she suggested I try the Korean BBQ pork burrito. I am happy to report that trusting a pretty face worked out! This was the most amazing fusion between Asian and Mexican flavors. I went there the following day and had a pleasant conversation with the owner(Armando). Armando is an industrious entrepreneur who understands that his customers want a quality, great tasting meal for a fair price(burritos are only $ 5.50 for a massive amount of food). This time I tried the Korean BBQ burrito. It was good, but Daisy was right — the Pork is better! On my third day in a roll and I tried the Thai Chicken Curry Burrito(only available on Wednesdays by special request while supplies last). The Thai Chicken Curry Burrito is fantastic, but prepare for a medium level of Thai spice. I have now tried the Chicken and Carne Asada burritos and I am happy to report that they are fantastic. I think they put extra cilantro on my chicken burrito and it tasted amazing! I am going to ask for extra from now on! As the current DUKE — I highly recommend Taco Faktory!
