Zewdu Y Gebreyes, MD

Dr. Gebreyes has been our doctors for several years however, in the past 2 years he has not been that caring anymore and we think it is because he has too many patience. However, after last couple weeks incident with my husband, we definitely are not going back. 2 weeks ago, my husband has blood in his stool and it got worst. After visited Urgent Care with no treatment, I make an appointment with Dr. Gebreyes and he started to blame my husband that his 2 yrs ago colonoscopy result shown that he has collides and he should be taking medication. The first issue here is why we never heard about this until now. Then he told my husband that he has to go see Gastroenterologist. Of course, as anybody know that you can’t get any appointment with any specialist in a short time. He didn’t even try to give him any antibiotic. In a couple of days, my husband started to have a fever and I knew that he must have an infection someplace in his body. So I sent him back to Dr. Gebreyes and his assistant couldn’t give my husband any anti-​biotic. Thanks God that I was able to convince my husband to enter ER and he has been there for the past 3 days and may have to stay for a couple of weeks because of the abscess in his liver due to bacteria in his blood, not collides like what Dr. Gebreyes stated. Several doctors are watching out for his health and he is under multiple anti-​biotic. My husband finally came home with pick lines for the anti-​biotic. Lesson learn, should NEVER
trust any doctor and the best way is to visit ER if your doctor don’t care about you.

Called to make a sick appointment and staff stated that it will be a few weeks. Seriously? You don’t have to be a healthcare professional to determine if I’m still going to be sick in a few weeks.

I really liked this doctor. Great bedside manner and he was very thorough! It is hard to find a good doctor. I will return to him for future visits.

I have been a patient of Dr. G’s for over 15 years. I have followed him from office to office, and don’t mind making a long distance drive to see him. It is hard to find a great and caring Dr. now a days, and Dr. G, is all that. I consider him a friend, and have referred many others to him. I honestly don’t know what I would do if he were to ever retire. He is great!

Dr. G is so kind and informative. If you are confused and need more info, he will look stuff up on the web right in the exam room. he always makes time to talk with his patients. You never feel rushed!

I am a new patient of Dr. Gebreyes. My original Dr. retired. I was impressed with him, he seems caring and efficient. Set me up for lab work. Will see how quickly he gets back to me with results.

Dr. Gebreyes has been my PCP for 9 years. He has always been the absolute best. He takes his time explaining why he is requesting certain testing etc, and he also listens to what his patients have to say. Highly recommend him.
